IMPORTANT: Please read arefully.
TO CONNECT ELECTRICITY
RECOMMENDED GROUNDING
METHOD
The refrigerator should always be plugged into its
own individual properly grounded ele tri al outlet
rated for 230 Volts, 50 Hz, AC only, and fused at
15 or 20 amperes.
This provides the best performan e and also
prevents overloading house wiring ir uits whi h
ould ause a fire hazard from overheated wires.
It is re ommended that a separate ir uit serving
only this applian e be provided.
Use a re epta le whi h annot be turned off with
a swit h or pull hain. Do not use an extension
ord.
Where a standard two-prong wall outlet is
en ountered, it is your personal responsibility and
obligation to have it repla ed with a properly
grounded three-prong wall outlet.
Do not, under an circumstances, cut or
remove the third (ground) prong from the
power cord.

leaning,or removing a light bulb, turn the ontrol
(Thermostat, Refrigerator Control or Freezer
Control, depending on the model)to OFF and
then dis onne t the refrigerator from the ele tri al
sour e. When you are finished,re onne t the
refrigerator to the ele tri al sour e and reset the
ontrol (Thermostat, Refrigerator Control or
Freezer Control, depending on the model) to the
desired setting.
• Repair or repla e immediately all ele tri servi e

Instructions that were taped to the front of the
refrigerator.
• Don’t tou h the lamp, in ase of light on the long
time, Be ause it an be very hot.
• DO NOT refreeze frozen foods whi h have thawed
ompletely. The United States Department of
Agri ulture in Home and Garden Bulletin No. 69
says:
…You may safely refreeze frozen foods that have
thawed if they still ontain i e rystals or if they
are still old—below 4°C.
…Thawed ground meats, poultry or fish that have
any off-odor or off- olor should not be refrozen
and should not be eaten. Thawed i e ream
should be dis arded. If the odor or olor of any
food is poor or questionable, get rid of it.
The food may be dangerous to eat.
Even partial thawing and refreezing redu es the
eating quality of foods, parti ularly fruits,
vegetables and prepared foods. The eating quality
of red meats is affe ted less than that of many
other foods. Use refrozen foods as soon as
possible to save as mu h of their quality as you

LEVELING AND DOOR ALIGNMENT
Leveling
After installing, se ure the produ t with the LEG
not to move left or right.
Your refrigerator has two front leveling s rews—
one on the right and one on the left. If your
refrigerator seems unsteady or you want the
doors to lose easier, adjust the refrigerator’s tilt
using the instru tions below:
1. Plug the refrigerator’s power ord into a
3-prong grounded outlet. Move the refrigerator
into its final position.
2. Turn the leveling leg lo kwise to raise that
side of the refrigerator or ounter lo kwise to
lower it. It may take several turns of the
leveling leg to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator.
NOTE: Having someone push against the top
of the refrigerator takes some weight off the
leveling legs. This makes it easier to adjust the
legs.
3. Open both doors again and he k to make
sure that they lose easily. If not, tilt the
refrigerator slightly more to the rear by turning
both leveling s rews lo kwise. It may take
several more turns, and you should turn both
leveling s rews the same amount.
4. Re-adjust if ne essary.
5. Repla e the base over.
NOTE: Your new refrigerator is uniquely
designed with two fresh food doors. Either door
an be opened or losed independently of one
another. You may have to exert slight pressure
on doors to get them to lose ompletely.
Door Alignment
If the spa e between your doors is uneven, follow
the instru tions below to align the doors:
1. With one hand, lift up the door you want to
raise at middle hinge.
2. With other hand, use pliers to insert snap ring
as shown.
3. Insert additional snap rings until the doors are

(8mm) wren h or a flat blade s rew driver.
Turn the leveling legs (CCW) to raise or (CW) to
lower the height of the front of the refrigerator.
NOTE: The front of the refrigerator should be
slightly higher than the ba k.
NOTE: If someone pushes ba kward against the
top of the refrigerator, weight is lifted off of the
leveling legs, whi h makes adjustment easier.
Open both doors to make sure they lose easily.
If not, raise the leveling legs higher by turning
both lo kwise the same amount. On e the
refrigerator is level, repla e the ki k-plate.
NOTE: Your new refrigerator is uniquely
designed with two fresh food doors. Either door
an be independently opened or losed.
You will have to exert slight pressure on the
doors to lose them ompletely.

USING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
ENSURING PROPER AIR
CIRCULATION
In order to ensure proper temperatures, air must
flow between the refrigerator and freezer
se tions. As shown in the illustration below, air
enters at top of freezer and ir ulates down.
From bottom of freezer, air is for ed up to top of
refrigerator. Air enters refrigerator through top
vent, then ir ulates and exists at bottom, where
it returns to freezer.
MULTI-FLOW
• Multi-Flow means powerful and effe tive ooling
operation. This is espe ially noti eable when
new food is pla ed in the refrigerator
ompartment.
• If water or foreign substan es enter the ool air
vent while leaning, effi ien y will be lowered. In
addition, if gasket is damaged, effi ien y may
be lowered be ause of es aping ool air.
Do not block an of cool air vents with food
pa kages. If the vents are blo ked, airflow will be
interrupted and temperature and moisture
problems may o ur.
IMPORTANT: Be ause air ir ulates between
both se tions, any odors formed in one se tion
will transfer to the other. You must thoroughly
lean both se tions to eliminate odors. To
prevent odor transfer and drying out of food, wrap
or over foods tightly. (See the Food Storage
Guide se tion for details.)
