USING AND STORING:
USING THE APPLIANCE:
• Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.
• Users must read and understand the instructions provided in this booklet before
operating or cleaning the appliance. Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage
specified on the rating label of the appliance corresponds with the electricity voltage
of the power source.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities should be properly
instructed before being allowed to operate the appliance and should be supervised
while they operate the appliance.
• Keep the appliance out of reach from children at all times. Close supervision is
necessary when used near children.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table/counter or touch any hot
surface. If the plug cord is damaged, do not use the appliance.
In case of any repairs, replacement of cord or plug, or adjustments, please consult a
technician.
Disconnect the plug from the power source before cleaning, while emptying and
when not in use.
If the appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, disconnect the
powersupply and unplug it from the wall outlet immediately. Do not try to reach out
ortouch the appliance before disconnecting the power supply and removing the plug
from the power source.
When using the appliance, ensure that there is adequate air space above and on all
sides for air circulation. Keep the appliance at least 6" (15 cm) away from the wall.
Place the appliance on a flat surface while operating.
Never leave the appliance unattended.
NOTE: For the first usage, let the appliance heat without putting any foodstuff on
the heating plate for about ten minutes. The appliance may emit smoke or smell, this
is harmless and normal for first time usage.
For each use:
• Uncoil the cable completely.
• Check if the heating plates are clean and dust-free. If necessary, wipe them with a
damp cloth.
• Forthefirst usage, letthe appliance heat without any food for about ten minutes.
There may be slight smoke or smell.This is normaland harmless.
• After connecting the plug into the rated voltage, the heating plate begins
pre-heating and both the red and green lights will be illuminated at the same time.
Caution hot surfaces: This appliance generates heat and surface can
develop high temperature. Only touch the appliance at the intended
handles and gripping surfaces. Do not touch the exteriors of the
appliance when in use as the metal surface will be very hot during the
operation or immediately after use. The appliance must be given time
to cool down after use

CARE AND CLEANING:
Afterthe heating plate has reached the pre-set temperature (usually it will take about
2-4 minutes), thegreen light will go off and the appliance will be ready for cooking.
• During the operating process, the red light will be on as long as the power supply is
connected.
• Lift the upper lid of the appliance and place the food on the lower heating plate.
Close the appliance and the green light will go on. (During the grilling process the
indicator light may go on and off due to automatic temperature control).
• Frozen food should be completelydefrosted priorto grilling.
• If too much food is loaded onto the heating plate, the appliance will not close, you
can slide the upper tray to try to close it but never use undue force as this could
damage the appliance.
• Settheselector Knobasperyour required heating range (Min to Max).
• During grilling, excess fat may flow through the drain holes into the drip tray.
• Afterthe green lightgoesoff again, the food should be grilled till it is cooked to your
satisfaction.
• Once you have finished cooking, open the lid and take out the food with a wooden
spatula.
• Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this would damage the
non-stick coating of cooking surface. Use heat-resistant wood spatula only.
• Pull outthe plug and leave the upper lid open so that the appliance can cooldown.
• Based on the food type and thickness, the cooking average time can be about 5-8
minutes.
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug the cord from the outlet.
Do not put the appliance, cord or plug in water.
Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Never use metal polish.
Wipe the heating plates with a soft damp cloth every time after use. If it is difficult to
remove residues, put a little oil and wipe.
Take the drip tray out and clean separately. Make sure it is dry before re-attaching to
the appliance.
Do not use any cleaning spray on metal objects as it could damage the non-stick
coating.
Be sure to dry all parts thoroughly before you use the appliance again. Do not use
sharp objects to clean the appliance as it would damage the non-stick coating.

Terms and Conditions:
1.This warranty is void if:
a. The completely filled warranty card is not presented
at the time of servicing the product.
b. The product is not operated according to the
instructions given under the user manual.
C. Damages are caused by lightning, abnormal
voltage, water or other liquid intrusion, fire, flood,
accident, negligence or improper handling.
d. Product has been damaged due to installation,
repairs, alterations or modifications by unauthorized
service organizations or persons.
e. Product label specifying the model number, serial
number and production code has been removed
and altered.
f. Defects or parts requiring replacement due to
ordinary wear and tear, corrosion, rust or stains,
scratches, dents on the casing or paintwork of the
product.
g. Claims damaged and/or missing parts
(accessories) after 7 days from the original date of
goods received.
h. Defects or faults in product which have been used
for commercial/industrial purposes or which have
been rented/leased or have been otherwise subject
to non-household/non-domestic use.
2. Repairs or replacements will be carried out by
authorized service provider.
3. During the limited warranty period, Lifelong or its
authorized service provider will repair without charge
the defective unit inclusive of labor and parts and
restore the unit to its optimum working condition. All
defective parts used for the warranty repair should be
surrendered to Lifelong and/or its authorised servicer.
4. All expenses incurred in collecting the unit (s) or
part(s) thereof from authorised service provider as
will as any other expenses and incidentals will be
borne by the consumer.
5. Lifelong obligations are limited to the repair and
replacement of the defective product. Except as set
forth above, there are no other express or implied
warranty and all warrantied, conditions or other terms
implied by statute or common law (including any
warranty of satisfactory quality, merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose) are excluded to the
fullest extent permitted by the lass.
6. Lifelong total liability for damages relating to or arising
out of the purchase or use of the product regardless of
the type or cause of such damage of the form of
characterization of the claim asserted (e.g. contract or
tort) shall not exceed the original purchase price paid
for the product.
7. However in no event shall Lifelong and Lifelong
authorized distributors be liable for any punitive, special
incidental, indirect or consequential losses or damages
whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for
the loss of revenue, business, profits, goodwill, or
contracts, business interruptions, loss of business
information or any other pecuniary loss.) Whether or
not Lifelong has been advised of the possibility of such
damages.These limitations shall apply not with
standing the failure of the essential purpose of any
limited warranty. This limited warranty does not affect
consumer's statutory rights under the law.
8. No carrier, dealer or employee is thereof authorized to
make modifications to this warranty and you should not
reply on any such representation. Lifelong reserves the
right to amend the terms and conditions if necessary.
