Firstly if the object to light doesn’t fall
within the circle of the open beam as
gue 1 illustrates, then the projector
will need to be mounted further away
from the object so beam fully covers
object as shown in gure 2.
Figure 3 shows cassette removed from projector for clarity.
Figure 4:
1. Place I shaped blade (1) onto cassette next to the xing screw side.
2. Place T shaped blade (2) onto cassette on opposite open side.
Figure 5:
3. Place the remaining 2no T blades (3) and (4) onto cassette, on top of
blades (1) and (2).
To frame object:
1. Pull blades out of beam, leaving just one in the beam.
2. Adjust lens position to focus on the edge of the blade. For coarse
adjustment, push lens out/in from projector. For ne adjustment, rotate
lens.
3. When lens focus position is found, push all the blades out, leaving just
the edges touching the beam circle.
4. Adjust projector orientation to centre beam on lit object.
5. Starting with blade (1), move blade to cut edge of beam as desired.
6. When viewing from behind the projector with blade (1) on right hand
side, the change on the beam will be on the left hand side.
7. Similarly, blade (2) on left, will be visible on right side of beam.
8. (3) At top, visible on the bottom
9. (4) At bottom, visible on the top
10. Moving side blades (1) and (2) may move blades (3) and (4) as well, so
set (1) and (2) rst and then (3) and (4).
