Using your Kettle
Caution: Before first use, any chemical residue left on the inside after
manufacturing, needs to be removed. To do so, simply go through the
boiling process several times, using clean water with each cycle.
Operating the Kettle
1. Place the heating base on a firm, level surface.
2. Pour the desired amount of water into the kettle jug. The amount of
water can be measured using the markings on the side of the kettle.
Ensure that the water level is between the minimum and maximum fill
lines and the lid is firmly secured.
3. Secure the kettle onto the base by placing it onto the heating unit
located at the centre of the base.
4. Insert the power plug into the wall socket.
5. Start the heating process by flicking the switch into its ‘on’ position. The
LED lighting up indicates the heating process has begun.
6. Once the water has come to a boil, it will automatically switch itself off.
Alternatively, you can manually turn the kettle off by switching the kettle
to its ‘off’ position.
7. Use the spout to pour water out from the kettle. Only use the handle to
pour water as the jug may be hot. Beware of boiling water when pouring.
N.B. The kettle is equipped with a safety cut-out to protect the appliance
from damage in case of inappropriate use. Should the appliance be
accidentally operated without water, or if all the water has been evaporated,
the safety cut-out will automatically switch off the heating element.

The appliance is not designed to be dismantled without special tools.
Please do not attempt to separate the unit.
1. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply and
completely cooled down before attempting any cleaning.
Caution: Never immerse the base in water for cleaning.
2. Cleaning the exterior of the unit should only be attempted with a
slightly damp cloth. After wiping down the unit with the cloth, dry any
dampness with a dry cloth.
3. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
4. It is advisable to remove lime deposits from the kettle at regular
intervals. Any decalcifying agent can be used, provided the relevant
instructions are observed. Do not fill the kettle to the maximum line to
