Removing The Case
Step 1.) Unscrew the (6) Phillips-head screws along the
bottom of the red case where it attaches to the chassis
of the machine. (2-front, 2-rear, one on each side)
Step 2.) Lift the red case off the chassis and set it aside.

Removing The Platform
Step 1.) Using a 9/16” crescent wrench, and a 9/16”
wrench, hold onto the bolt which is outside of the
machine underneath the platform, while unscrewing the
nut attached to the other end of the bolt, inside the
machine (below the bottom server wheel).
Step 2.) With the Platform detached, position it so that
the 4 rubber feet are touching the ground, and the white
plastic spacer is pointing up.

Un-installing and Installing the Arc Gear
Step 1.) With the Platform on the 4 rubber feet, go
to where the Arc Gear is located, and unscrew the 2
screws holding the Arc Gear (and Arc Gear Shield)
in place. Please note you will need to also grab onto
the 2 kep nuts holding the shield in place on the
opposite side of the platform.

Step 2.) Place the new Arc Gear on the platform location
(were the previous Arc Gear was). Screw in the 2 screws
that you previously removed. Flip the platform over (so
the feet are sticking up towards you), and place the shield
over the 2 screws that are sticking out.

Step 3.) Screw on the 2 Kep Nuts to secure the shield to
Arc Gear in place.

Re-attaching the Platform the Chassis
Step 1.) Carefully line up the platform with the
Chassis, so that the Rack Gear teeth, fit in-between
the Spur Gear teeth.
(See picture below).
Step 2.) Push the ½ inch platform bolt thru the
bottom of the platform, so that the threaded edge is
popping out of the top/middle of the chassis.

Repair Instructions
Step 3.) Put the Battery Negative Ground Loop over
the threads of the ½ inch platform bolt, and cap it off
with the bolt.
Step 4.) Tighten the nut and yoke bolt until the nut
can be turned by your thumb and index finger.
*If the platform bolt is tightened too much, this can
cause a Feedback or Overcurrent Sweep Motor
Error.
The threading is pointed out
in blue, and the Battery
negative Ground Loop is
orange.

Re-attaching The Case
Step 1.) Lift the red case and lower until it is covering
the whole Chassis of the machine.
Step 2.) Screw the (6) Philips-head screws along the
bottom of the red case where it attaches to the chassis
of the machine. (2-front, 2-rear, one on each side)
