Camcorder Boom
Rotate to make video level.
180° Rotating Earpiece
Rotate to wear Looxcie in your left or
right ear.
Bendable Earloop
Twist, turn, and shape to point the
camcorder where you look, t Looxcie
stably on your ear, and make video
level.
Why Fit Matters
Looxcie will not t everyone the same because every
head and ear is dierent. You need to personalize
Looxcie so that it ts your unique prole, conforming to
your head in a stable way. You don’t want Looxcie to shift
and capture crooked video—and it won’t if you t it right.
Adjusting the Fit
Personalize the t of your Looxcie so that it’s stable, comfortable, and takes level video

11
Personalizing the Fit of Looxcie
You will need to nd the twists, bends, and turns that will make Looxcie t comfortably
and stably on your ear. When t properly, Looxcie will not move when you shake your head.
The process for personalizing Looxcie is iterative: you may take it o, adjust it, and then
put it back on several times before it ts perfectly.
Here are some tips to get you started.
Decide whether you’ll wear it on your
left or right ear. Then turn the 180°
Rotating Earpiece to go in the ear you want.
Choose the right earbud. It’s unlikely that
Looxcie will t perfectly the rst time you
put it on. Make sure the earpiece ts snugly
and securely. If it doesn’t, try a smaller or
larger earbud.
Put some muscle into it. Manipulate the
earloop in any and every direction. It’s meant
to hold its shape; so bend it forcefully.
Slide Looxcie over your ear. Starting with
the bottom of the earloop, slide Looxcie
around your ear. Don’t try to force it over the
top of your ear.
Bend down the earloop. If you have a
small ear, then try bending the earloop down
to get a snugger t.

12
Pointing Looxcie Where You Look
• If it’s pointing up, hold the back of the earloop and push the Camcorder Boom down.
• If it’s pointing down, hold the back of the earloop and push the Camcorder Boom up.
• If it’s pointing to the side, hold the back of the earloop and push the Camcorder
Boom until it lightly touches your cheek.
Making Video Level
When you think the t is right, capture some video (start the Looxcie App) and look in
the Viewnder on your smartphone to conrm that the video is level. If it’s not, use the
roll adjustment on the Camcorder Boom to turn the boom until the video is level.
Tip: Fit is everything with Looxcie. It may take some time to personalize your Looxcie,
but it’s well worth the eort. When personalized, Looxcie will be stable, comfortable,
and capture everything you see.

When you’re done personalizing Looxcie
to conform to your head, it may look
something like this:
