Earthing Instructions
• Thisappliancemustbeearthed.Intheeventofamalfunction
orbreakdown,earthingwillreducetheriskofanelectricshock
byprovidingapathofleastresistanceofelectriccurrent.This
applianceisequippedwithanearthingconductorplug.
• Theplugmustbepluggedintoanappropriateoutletthatis
installedandearthedinaccordancewithalllocalcodesand
ordinances.
• Improperconnectionoftheequipment-earthingconductorcan
resultintheriskofanelectricshock.
• Checkwithaqualiedelectricianorservicerepresentativeifyou
areindoubtwhethertheapplianceisproperlygrounded.
• Donotmodifytheplugprovidedwiththeappliance;Ifitdoes
notttheoutlet.
• Haveaproperoutletinstalledbyaqualiedelectrician.
• Donotabuse,siton,orstandonthedoorordishrackofthe
dishwasher.
• Donotoperateyourdishwasherunlessallenclosurepanelsare

• Openthedoorverycarefullyifthedishwasherisoperating,
thereisariskofwatersquirtingout.
• Donotplaceanyheavyobjectsonorstandonthedoorwhenit
isopen.Theappliancecouldtipforward.
• Whenloadingitemstobewashed:
1)Locatesharpitemssothattheyarenotlikelytodamagethe
doorseal;
2)Warning:Knivesandotherutensilswithsharppointsmustbe
loadedinthebasketwiththeirpointsfacingdownorplaced
inahorizontalposition.
• Somedishwasherdetergentsarestronglyalkaline.Theycanbe
extremelydangerousifswallowed.Avoidcontactwiththeskin
andeyesandkeepchildrenawayfromthedishwasherwhenthe
doorisopen.

• Checkthatthedetergentpowderisemptyaftercompletionof
thewashcycle.
• Donotwashplasticitemsunlesstheyaremarked„dishwasher
safe“ortheequivalent.
• Forunmarkedplasticitemsnotsomarked,checkthe
manufacturer‘srecommendations.
• Useonlydetergentandrinseagentsrecommendedforuseinan
automaticdishwasher.
• Neverusesoap,laundrydetergent,orhandwashingdetergent
inyourdishwasher.
• Thedoorshouldnotbeleftopen,sincethiscouldincreasethe
riskoftripping.
Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythe
manufactureroritsserviceagentorasimilarlyqualiedperson
inordertoavoidahazard.
• Duringinstallation,thepowersupplymustnotbeexcessivelyor
dangerouslybentorattened.
• Donottamperwithcontrols.
• Theapplianceneedstobeconnectedtothemainwatervalve
usingnewhosesets.Oldsetsshouldnotbereused.
• Tosaveenergy,instandbymode,theappliancewillswitcho
automaticallywhilethereisnoanyoperationin15minutes.
• Themaximumnumberofplacesettingstobewashedis14.
• Themaximumpermissibleinletwaterpressureis1MPa.
• Theminimumpermissibleinletwaterpressureis0.04MPa.

Disposal
• Fordisposingofpackageandtheapplianceplease
gotoarecyclingcenter.Thereforecutothepower
supplycableandmakethedoorclosingdevice
unusable.
• Cardboardpackagingismanufacturedfromrecycled
paperandshouldbedisposedinthewastepaper
collectionforrecycling.
• Byensuringthisproductisdisposedofcorrectly,youwillhelp
preventpotentialnegativeconsequencesfortheenvironment
andhumanhealth,whichcouldotherwisebecausedby
inappropriatewastehandlingofthisproduct.
• Formoredetailedinformationaboutrecyclingofthisproduct,
pleasecontactyourlocalcityoceandyourhouseholdwaste
disposalservice.
• DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted
municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for
special treatment is necessary.

USING YOUR DISHWASHER
Beforeusingyourdishwasher:
OutsideInside
1. Setthewatersoftener
2. LoadingthesaltIntothesoftener
3. Loadingthebasket
4. Fillthedispenser
Please check the section 1„Water Softener“ of PART II: Special Version, If you
need to set the water softener .
Loading The Salt Into The Softener
NOTE:
Ifyourmodeldoesnothaveanywatersoftener,youmayskipthissection.
Alwaysusesaltintendedfordishwasheruse.
Thesaltcontainerislocatedbeneaththelowerbasketandshouldbelledasexplained
inthefollowing:
WARNING
• Onlyusesaltspecicallydesignedfordishwashersuse!
Everyothertypeofsaltnotspecicallydesignedfordishwasheruse,especially
tablesalt,willdamagethewatersoftener.Incaseofdamagescausedbytheuse
ofunsuitablesaltthemanufacturerdoesnotgiveanywarrantynorisliableforany
damagescaused.
• Onlyllwithsaltbeforerunningacycle.
Thiswillpreventanygrainsofsaltorsaltywater,whichmayhavebeenspilled,
remainingonthebottomofthemachineforanyperiodoftime,whichmaycause
corrosion.

Pleasefollowthestepsbelowforaddingdishwashersalt:
1. Removethelowerbasketandunscrewthereservoircap.
2. Placetheendofthefunnel(supplied)intotheholeandpourinabout1.5kgof
dishwashersalt.
3. Fillthesaltcontainertoitsmaximumlimitwithwater,Itisnormalforasmall
amountofwatertocomeoutofthesaltcontainer.
4. Afterllingthecontainer,screwbackthecaptightly.
5. Thesaltwarninglightwillstopbeingafterthesaltcontainerhasbeenlledwith
salt.
6. Immediatelyafterllingthesaltintothesaltcontainer,awashingprogramshould
bestarted(Wesuggesttouseashortprogram).Otherwisetheltersystem,pump
orotherimportantpartsofthemachinemaybedamagedbysaltywater.Thisisout
ofwarranty.
NOTE:
• Thesaltcontainermustonlyberelledwhenthesaltwarninglight()inthe
controlpanelcomeson.Dependingonhowwellthesaltdissolves,thesaltwarning
lightmaystillbeoneventhoughthesaltcontainerislled.
Ifthereisnosaltwarninglightinthecontrolpanel(forsomeModels),youcan
estimatewhentollthesaltintothesoftenerbythecyclesthatthedishwasherhas
run.
• Ifsalthasspilled,runasoakorquickprogramtoremoveit.
Basket Used Tips
Adjusting the upper basket
Type 1:
Theheightoftheupperbasketcanbeeasilyadjustedtoaccommodatetallerdishesin
eithertheupperorlowerbasket.
Toadjusttheheightoftheupperrack,followthesesteps:

Toraisetheupperbasket,justlift

isnotnecessarytolifttheadjuster
handle.
Tolowertheupperbasket,liftthe
adjusthandlesoneachsideto
releasethebasketandloweritto
thelowerposition.
Folding back the cup shelves
Tomakeroomfortalleritemsintheupperbasket,raisethecuprackupwards.Youcan
thenleanthetallglassesagainstit.Youcanalsoremoveitwhenitisnotrequiredfor
use.

Thespikesofthelowerbasketareusedforholdingplatesandaplatter.
Theycanbeloweredtomakemoreroomforlargeitems.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
External Care
The door and the door seal
Cleanthedoorsealsregularlywithasoftdampclothtoremovefooddeposits.
Whenthedishwasherisbeingloaded,foodanddrinkresiduesmaydripontothe
sidesofthedishwasherdoor.Thesesurfacesareoutsidethewashcabinetandarenot
accessedbywaterfromthesprayarms.Anydepositsshouldbewipedobeforethe
doorisclosed.
The control panel
Ifcleaningisrequired,thecontrolpanelshouldbewipedwithasoftdampclothonly.
WARNING
• Toavoidpenetrationofwaterintothedoorlockandelectricalcomponents,donot
useaspraycleanerofanykind.
• Neveruseabrasivecleanersorscouringpadsontheoutersurfacesbecausethey
mayscratchthenish.Somepapertowelsmayalsoscratchorleavemarksonthe
surface.

Internal Care
Filtering system
Thelteringsysteminthebaseofthewashcabinetretainscoarsedebrisfromthe
washingcycle.Thecollectedcoarsedebrismaycausethelterstoclog.Regularlycheck
theconditionoftheltersandcleanthemunderrunningwateratleastonceaweek.
Followthestepsbelowtocleantheltersinthewashcabinet.
NOTE:

WARNING
• Donotovertightenthelters.Puttheltersbackinsequencesecurely,otherwise
coarsedebriscouldgetintothesystemandcauseablockage.
• Neverusethedishwasherwithoutltersinplace.Improperreplacementofthelter
mayreducetheperformanceleveloftheapplianceanddamagedishesandutensils.
Spray arms
Itisnecessarytocleanthesprayarmsatleastonceamonth,becausethesubstances
containedinhardwatercouldclogthenozzlesandthebearingsofthesprayarms.
Tocleanthesprayarms,followtheinstructionsbelow:

Caring For The Dishwasher
Frost precaution
Pleasetakefrostprotectionmeasuresonthedishwasherinwinter.Everytimeafter
washingcycles,pleaseoperateasfollows:
1. Cutotheelectricalpowertothedishwasheratthesupplysource.
2. Turnothewatersupplyanddisconnectthewaterinletpipefromthewatervalve.
3. Drainthewaterfromtheinletpipeandwatervalve.(Useapantogatherthewater)
4. Reconnectthewaterinletpipetothewatervalve.
5. Removethelteratthebottomofthetubanduseaspongetosoakupwaterin
thesump.
After every wash
Aftereverywash,turnothewatersupplytotheapplianceandleavethedoorslightly
opensothatmoistureandodorsarenottrappedinside.
Remove the plug
Beforecleaningorperformingmaintenance,alwaysremovetheplugfromthesocket.
No solvents or abrasive cleaning
Tocleantheexteriorandrubberpartsofthedishwasher,donotusesolventsor
abrasivecleaningproducts.Onlyuseaclothwithwarmsoapywater.
Toremovespotsorstainsfromthesurfaceoftheinterior,useaclothdampenedwith
wateranalittlevinegar,oracleaningproductmadespecicallyfordishwashers.
When not in use for a longtime
Itisrecommendthatyourunawashcyclewiththedishwasheremptyandthen
removetheplugfromthesocket,turnothewatersupplyandleavethedoorofthe
applianceslightlyopen.Thiswillhelpthedoorsealstolastlongerandpreventodors
fromformingwithintheappliance.
Moving the appliance
Iftheappliancemustbemoved,trytokeepitintheverticalposition.Ifabsolutely
necessary,itcanbepositionedonitsback.
Seals
Oneofthefactorsthatcauseodourstoforminthedishwasherisfoodthatremains
trappedintheseals.Periodiccleaningwithadampspongewillpreventthisfrom
occurring.

About Power Connection
WARNING
Forpersonalsafety:
• Donotuseanextensioncordoranadapterplugwiththisappliance.
• Donot,underanycircumstances,cutorremovetheearthingconnectionfromthe
powercord.
Electrical requirements
Pleaselookattheratinglabeltoknowtheratingvoltageandconnectthedishwasher
totheappropriatepowersupply.Usetherequiredfuse10A/13A/16A,timedelay
fuseorcircuitbreakerrecommendedandprovideseparatecircuitservingonlythis
appliance.
Electrical connection
Ensurethevoltageandfrequencyofthepowerbeingcorrespondstothoseonthe
ratingplate.Onlyinserttheplugintoanelectricalsocketwhichisearthedproperly.If
theelectricalsockettowhichtheappliancemustbeconnectedisnotappropriatefor
theplug,replacethesocket,ratherthanusingaadaptorsorthelikeastheycouldcause
overheatingandburns.
Ensure that proper earthing exists before use.

Water Supply And Drain
Cold water connection
Connectthecoldwatersupplyhosetoathreaded3/4(inch)connectorandmakesure
thatitisfastenedtightlyinplace.Ifthewaterpipesareneworhavenotbeenusedfor
anextendedperiodoftime,letthewaterruntomakesurethatthewaterisclear.This
precautionisneededtoavoidtheriskofthewaterinlettobeblockedanddamagethe
appliance.

About the safety supply hose
Thesafetysupplyhoseconsistsofthedoublewalls.Thehose‘ssystemguaranteesits
interventionbyblockingtheowofwaterincaseofthesupplyhosebreakingand
whentheairspacebetweenthesupplyhoseitselfandtheoutercorrugatedhoseisfull
ofwater.
WARNING
Ahosethatattachestoasinkspraycanburstifitisinstalledonthesamewaterlineas
thedishwasher.Ifyoursinkhasone,itisrecommendedthatthehosebedisconnected
andtheholeplugged.
How to connect the safety supply hose
1. PullThesafetysupplyhosescompletelyoutfromstoragecompartmentlocatedat
rearofdishwasher.
2. Tighterthescrewsofthesafetysupplyhosetothefaucetwiththread3/4inch.
3. Turnwaterfullyonbeforestartingthedishwasher.
How to disconnect the safety supply hose
1. Turnothewater.
2. Unscrewthesafetysupplyhosefromthefaucet.
