in outdoor envinroments it is advisable to have an anemometer. Flying loudspeakers overhead at
wind force higher than 6 bft (20 knots), is not recommended.
If the wind force exceeds 8 bft (35 knots):
- Make sure that no people remains in the closer proximity of the array
- Lower and secure the array (Flown & Clustered speakers).
Pay attention, excessive loads can cause permanent personal injury. Please check and respect the
regulations relating to maximum load handled per person.
Loudspeaker systems are capable of producing very high sound pressure levels (SPL) which can
instantaneously lead to permanent hearing damage to performers, production crew and audience
members. Hearing damage an also occur at moderate level with prolonged exposure to sound. Check
the applicable laws and regulations relating to maximum sound levels and exposure times.
In connection with a laser inclinometer take precautions to prevent anyone from looking directly into
the laser beam and wear appropriate eye protection. Laser beams can cause permanent personal
injury.
