General power tool safety warnings
WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions,
illustrations and specications provided with this
power tool.
Failure to follow all instructions listed
below may result in electric shock, re and/or serious
injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings
refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
Work area safety
>Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas
invite accidents.
>
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or
dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
>
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a
power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Electrical safety
>
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify
the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with
earthed (grounded) power tools.
Unmodied plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
>
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces,
such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There
is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed
or grounded.

>
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.
Water
entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
>Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying,
pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away
from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or
entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
>
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension
cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for
outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
>
If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable,
use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply.
Use
of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
>
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common
sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power
tool while you are tired or under the inuence of drugs,
alcohol or medication.
A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
>
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
>
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in
the off-position before connecting to power source and/
or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying
power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power
tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
>Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the
power tool on.
A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating
part of the power tool may result in personal injury.

>
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times.
This enables better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
>Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving
parts.
>
If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction
and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and
properly used.
Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
>
Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools
allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety
principles.
A careless action can cause severe injury within
a fraction of a second.
Power tool use and care
>Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool
for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job
better and safer at the rate for which it was designed
.
>
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it
on and off.
Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
>
Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove
the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the
risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
>
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and
do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or
these instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools
are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

Getting Started . . .
>
Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools
.
>
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained
cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind
and are easier to control.
>
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in
accordance with these instructions, taking into account
the working conditions and the work to be performed.
Use
of the power tool for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation
.
>
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and
free from oil and grease.
Slippery handles and grasping
surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the tool
in unexpected situations.
Battery tool use and care
>
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
pack may create a risk of re when used with another battery
pack.
>
Use power tools only with specically designated battery
packs.
Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of
injury and re.
>When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws
or other small metal objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a re.

>
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek
medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
>
Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or
modified.
Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictable behaviour resulting in re, explosion or risk of
injury.
>Do not expose a battery pack or tool to re or excessive
temperature.
Exposure to re or temperature above 130 °C
may cause explosion.
>
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge
the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range
specied in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside the specied range may damage the
battery and increase the risk of re.
Service
>
Have your power tools serviced by a qualied repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will
ensure that safety of the power tool is maintained.
>
Never service damaged battery packs.
Service of battery
packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or
authorized service providers.
Impact driver safety warnings
>
Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when
performing an operation where the fastener may contact
hidden wiring.
Fastener contacting a “live” wire may make
exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give
the operator an electric shock.

Additional safety warnings for charger
>This charger can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
charger in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
>
Children shall not play with the charger. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
>
Disconnect the charger from the power supply and allow
it to cool down before cleaning, maintenance, storage and
transportation.
>
Before using the charger, read all the instructions and
cautionary markings on the charger and battery pack.
>The charger and battery pack supplied with it are specically
designed to work together. Only use the charger with the
battery pack specied for this product.
>
Charge the battery pack indoors only as the charger is designed
for indoor use only.
>Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
>
Protect the charger against moisture and wet conditions. There
is a danger of electric shock.
>
Do not place any object on top of the charger as it could cause
overheating. Do not place the charger near any heat source.
>
Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary.
The use of an improper extension cord could cause the risk
of re, electric shock or electrocution.
>
Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to a heavy
knock, dropped or otherwise damaged in any way. Have the
charger checked and repaired by an authorised service centre.

Additional safety warnings for battery packs
>
Do not attempt to charge the battery pack with any other
charger than the one supplied. The charger and battery pack
supplied with it are specically designed to work together.
>
Charge and store the battery pack in an ambient temperature
of 18 - 24°C (65 - 75°F) to ensure the longest battery life and
best performance. Do not charge or store the battery pack
in temperatures below 0°C (32°F) and above 45°C (113°F).
>Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason. If the
plastic housing of the battery pack breaks open or cracks,
immediately discontinue its use and do not recharge it.
>
Do not store or carry a spare battery pack in a pocket or
toolbox or any other place where it may come into contact
with metal objects. The battery pack may be short-circuited
causing damage to the battery pack, burns or a re.
>
Do not pierce the battery pack with nails, strike the battery
pack with a hammer, step on the battery or otherwise subject
it to strong impacts or shocks.
>
Protect the battery pack against heat. Do not place the battery
pack in direct sunlight or use or store the battery pack inside
cars in hot weather. Doing so may cause the battery pack to
generate heat, explode or ignite.
>
Never try to charge a battery pack that is cracked or damaged
in any other way. There is a danger of electric shock or
electrocution.

Emergency
Familiarise yourself with the use of this product by means of this
instruction manual. Memorise the safety directions and follow
them to the letter. This will help to prevent risks and hazards.

Always be alert when using this product, so that you can
recognise and handle risks early. Fast intervention can
prevent serious injury and damage to property.

Switch off and disconnect from the power supply if there
are malfunctions. Have the product checked by a qualied
professional and repaired, if necessary, before you operate it again.

WARNING! The vibration and noise emissions during actual use of the power
tool can differ from the declared values depending on the ways in which the tool
is used especially what kind of workpiece is processed; and need to identify
safety measures to protect the operator that are based on an estimation of
exposure in the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is switched off and when it is
running idle in addition to the trigger time).

Unpacking
1. Unpack all parts and lay them on a at, stable surface.
2. Remove all packing materials and shipping devices if applicable.
3.
Make sure the delivery contents are complete and free of any damage. If you nd that
parts are missing or show damage do not use the product but contact your dealer.
Using an incomplete or damaged product represents a hazard to people and property.
4.
Ensure that you have all the accessories and tools needed for assembly and operation.
This also includes suitable personal protective equipment.
WARNING! The product and the packaging are not children’s toys! Children
must not play with plastic bags, sheets and small parts! There is a danger of
choking and suffocation!

Setup
WARNING! The product must be fully assembled before operation! Do not
use a product that is only partly assembled or assembled with damaged parts!
Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the pictures provided
as a visual guide to easily assemble the product!
Do not connect the product to power supply before it is completely assembled!
Driver bits
Different driver bits can be used with this product depending on the screw/bolt head.
WARNING! Always use driver bits according to the intended use! For example,
never use a slotted driver bit for crosshead screws! Observe the technical
requirements of this product (see section Technical specications) when
purchasing and using driver bits!
Driver bits become hot during use! Handle them carefully! Wear protective
gloves when handling driver bits in order to avoid injuries like burns!
Inserting / removing / replacing
>
Pull the sleeve (3) and insert a
suitable driver bit all the way to
the stop into the tool holder (2).
Release the sleeve (3) to lock the
bit in place (Fig. 1).
> Remove the driver bit and insert
a new one as described above
if desired.

Battery pack
Release / Attach
>
Lock the ON/OFF switch (6) to avoid accidental starting by moving the forward /
reverse rotation control (5) into the middle position (see section “Product functions
– Forward / reverse rotation control”).
> To remove the battery, press the release button (9) and pull out the battery pack (8)
from the product (Fig. 2).
>
To attach the battery to the product, align the battery pack (8) with the sliding slots of
the battery docking port and slide the battery pack in. Ensure it clicks in place (Fig. 3).

Charging the battery
WARNING! Do not use any charger other than that specically provided for
use with the product. Check the voltage! The voltage must comply with the
information on the rating label!.
NOTES:
If the battery pack is very hot you must remove your battery pack from the
charger and allow time for the battery to cool down before recharging.
The battery in your new tool is not charged when it leaves the plant. Therefore,
it must be fully charged before using the rst time.
Please charge the battery to reach full or no less than half charge before
storage. If the tool will not be used for long periods of time, charge the
battery every 3-6 months.

> Slide the battery pack (8) into the charger base (11) until it locks in place (Fig. 4).
>
Connect the charger (12) to the power supply. The indicator light (10) lights in red
when battery is charging and green when charging is nished.
> After charging nished, disconnect the charger (12) from power supply and remove
battery pack (8) from the charger base (11) by pressing the release button (9) and
pulling out the battery pack (8) (Fig. 5).

Intended use / Product functions
Intended use
This product is intended for tightening and loosening screws, bolts, nuts with respective
driver / hex nut driver bits. It must not be used for drilling and should not be used for
working on materials that are dangerous to health. It must not be used for tightening or
loosening car wheel nuts.
For safety reasons it is essential to read the entire instruction manual before rst operation
and to observe all the instructions therein.
Product functions
Switching ON/OFF (Fig. 6)
>
Switch the product on by pressing the ON/OFF switch (6).
> Switch the product off by releasing the ON/OFF switch
(6).
Speed control
>
Adjust the speed directly when operating with the built-in speed control. The ON/OFF
switch (6) of this product is combined with a speed control. The speed is controlled
by how far the trigger switch is pressed.
