How to use macaroon
1. USB Cable
1) Take out USB cable: It is available once you take it out from the location
shown in Pic 1. If necessary, take out of the whole piece of USB cable for the
use of charging other devices.
2) Withdraw USB cable: Take the reverse procedure of step 1).
2. Key
1) Power Key: Long press the Power Key for more than 3 seconds to boost the device.

When the screen displays, long press the power key for more than 3 seconds to
shut down the device.
2) Operation Key: Click to select the menu or flip the screen, etc.
3) Lock the Screen: When you do not press the key within 40 seconds, the
device will be in the sleeping mode and the screen will be locked
automatically. Or click the power key twice to manually lock the screen.
4) Unlock the Screen: Click the power key to make the screen come alive, and
then click operation key to unlock the screen according to tips on the screen.
5) Forced shutdown: Long press Operation Key for more than 8 seconds. (Without the
guidance of customer service, please do not operate it yourself.)
3. Menu
1) After power-on and entering into the first page, it displays the operation
information of the device. Then click any key to enter into menu operation mode.
2) Use power key or Operation Key to activate the function in need.
3) If you do not press the key within 5 seconds in the menu operation, the
device will flip into the first page and display the operation information.
4. Connect WLAN
1) During power-on status, use cell phone/pad or other terminals to search
WLAN signal, find SSID (Username) of the device, and enter the KEY
(password). Then you can connect to the WLAN network.
5. Use of SIM card
1) No support for hot-swap purpose. If it is required to use SIM card, please
reboot the device after inserting or extracting of SIM card in the slot of SIM card.
6. Device management:
1) Scan QR code to download macaroon APP, go to register a new account after the
set-up.

2) Use macaroon APP to scan the barcode on the device to add and lock the device.
3) Purchase the suitable package in the data mall and ready to use it!
7. About WebUI
1) Connect your macaroon M1 device with your mobile phone or PC device.
2) Enter the address "192.168.225.1" in the browser, the default password is:
12345678
3) After logging in, you can use web UI to change your password and set APN, etc.

FAQ
1. How long does it take to have the device fully charged?
It takes around 4 hours for the device from the state of the low battery to have been
fully charged.
2. How long does it take to connect to the internet after power-on?
Normally, it takes 1-3 minutes. It may take a longer time for the network to make a
connection for the first time when arriving at a new country.
3. What should I do when my Phone/Pad cannot connect with the device?
(1) Make sure Phone/Pad's WLAN is turned on.
(2) Refresh the network list. Search the corresponding SSID of the device.
(3) Make sure you input the correct password to get internet connected.
4. What should I do when all the devices cannot get internet connections at
present?
(1) Make sure the device is in normal status. The signal of the device is weak
when you use the device at the airport, mountain area, high way, harbor, basement,
rural area, and islands. Please change your location and reboot the device to try

again.
(2) If you still cannot get the internet connection, please contact us through
www.facebook.com/macaroon.fans
5. What should I do if my device is lost?
If your device has been lost incidentally, please contact customer service to
freeze your account to avoid making extra expenses.
Warning
·Please use the original accessories. If you use the unauthorized charger or other
accessories, it may cause damage to the device and even cause a fire disaster,
explosion, or other hazards.
·Do not make the device wet. Keep it in the dry and cool environment. If the device
is situated at the conditions, the temperature of which is too high or too low, it may
be damaged.
·Please do not expose the device to high-temperature environment or heating
surroundings, such as sunlight, warmer, microwave, oven, heater or water-heater etc.
The overheated battery may cause the explosion.
·When charging is complete, or the device is not in the process of charging, please
disconnect the charger from the device and unplug the charger from the power
outlet.
·The built-in battery is non-removable. Please do not change or disassemble battery
by yourself to avoid causing the damage to the battery or the device. The battery can
only be replaced by the officially authorized service provider.
Notice: Change with the wrong model of the battery may cause the explosion,
please make sure to dispose of the exhausted battery as instructed.
Working Temperature: 0℃- 45℃. For user's safety, please avoid using the device
at the high-temperature environment for a long time, otherwise, it will shorten

the lifespan of the device. The device will stop charging automatically when the
battery temperature is up to 50℃; it will shut down automatically when the
battery temperature is more than 60℃.
When using external SIM card, you should cut the SIM card by yourself. The
non-standard SIM card cannot be used.
