oDo not use wrong size docking adapter
oPlace the iPod®onto the Docking Station with both sides of the iPod®
evenly
oWhen detaching the iPod® from the Docking Station, hold the iPod® and
Docking Station with both hand and pull it out evenly. Damage may be
caused to the connectors if removed improperly
oIf there is any smoke or abnormal heat emitting from the Docking Station,
stop operation immediately and disconnect the AC Adapter to prevent any
serious incidents such as fire or electric shock
oUse only the AC Adapter provided only.
oDo not place the unit on an unstable place or corner desk
oDo not shake Docking Station
oDropping Docking Station will cause serious malfunction or damage to
iPod® and the Docking Station.
oDo not apply force on iPod® while it sits on the Docking Station to prevent
connector breakage

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER CONNECTION
oPlug the AC power cord to a household outlet AC source
Or
Place 4 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment as displayed in
Fig. 1
oTurn on the power by pressing the “Power Button” on the Docking
Station
INSTALLATION & USE
oPlace iPod® onto the Docking Station evenly and securely
oEnsure LED indicator is lit before playing music
oAdjust the “Volume Knob” to your desired level. Volume increases in a
clockwise direction
oDocking Station can be arranged as shown in Fig. 2
oDocking Station can also be used as an external speaker by
connecting another audio device into the “AUX In” jack (Fig. 3) with a
Line-In/Out cable (not provided).
NOTE:
oiPod® will only be charged when powered by AC Adapter
oiPod® will not be charged when operating only with batteries
oDo not mix old and new batteries
oDo not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-
cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Precautions
oAlways turn off the Docking Station after use
oKeep Docking Station away from magnetic objects, water or heat
sources
oUse a clean soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to clean the
cabinet. Never use chemical cleaners as this may damage finish of
Docking Station
oDisconnect Docking Station from any power sources before
cleaning
Digital circuitry may cause interference to other radio or television tuners.
Power off the Docking Station when not in use or, if interference occurs, move
away from afflicted radio/television tuner.
