COT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

COT AND COT DOLLY KIT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place Cover (A) upside down on at surface (preferably on a table or oor)
2. Slide one Long Side Bar (B) through each long sewn “tunnel”. (If assembling a square cot, all rails will be the same size)
3. Slide one Short End Bar (C) through the short sewn ‘tunnel”.
4. Insert square ends of the Short End Bar (C) into Plasc Legs opening (D). You will hear a click, indicang that it is inserted
completely. (NOT PICTURED)
5. Insert square ends of the Long Side Bar (B) into Plasc Legs opening (D). You will hear a click, indicang that it is inserted
completely. (NOT PICTURED)
6. IMPORTANT: Pull the Cover (A) towards the open end, taking up the excess slack. (NOT PICTURED)
7. Insert square ends of remaining Short End Bar (C) into remaining Plasc Legs opening (D). You will hear a click, indicang
that it is inserted completely.
8. Lay Short End Bar (C) with inserted Plasc Legs (D) on top of the ap of the Cover (A) and insert one of the Plasc Leg (D)
opening into the square Long Side Bar (B) only 1/4 “. Now insert the other Plasc Leg (D) opening into the other square
Long Side Bar (B) only 1/4”. (Insert both ends only 1/4”, otherwise the cot won’t assemble properly). (NOT PICTURED)
9. Stand Cot upright with ap of Cover (A) on at surface and with both hands grab top of cot in both corners and pull down.
This will ensure the rails are in the legs completely.
10. Lay Cot at and place the Cover (A) ap over the Short End Bar (C) then lace the cord through the closest eyelet on ap,
then across to the eyelet on the strip, back through the eyelet on the ap, etc., pulling ghtly as you are lacing it. (If you
don’t pull the lace ght as you are lacing, the lace may not be long enough to complete the assembly). Tie o in a knot.
11. If you have purchased the oponal Cot Leg Tips and/or Cot Leg Plugs, please see opposite side for instrucons on how
to put them on your cot.
To disinfect, use 1 part chlorine bleach to 2 parts water.
Can be rinsed o outside or in shower, but Do NOT submerge in water.
Air-dry —Do NOT lean or hang to dry.

OPTIONAL COT ACCESSORIES – ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. The Leg Tips are a snug fit so that they won’t fall off when the cot is moved. We suggest a
quick spray of water or Windex inside the Leg Tips so that they will slide onto the legs
easier.
2. Turn the cot upside down and slide the beginning of a Leg Tip onto the bottom of each leg
and gently push them into place. With a rubber mallet, gently hit each Leg Tip until it has
completely slid onto the legs. You may want to turn the cot right side up and step down
with your foot on each leg to help push the tip completely on.
Note: If the cot with rubber tips will be used outdoors without the Leg PLUGS –you may want
to drill a small hole in each rubber Leg Tip for water drainage. To remove the Leg Tips, apply
heat from hair dryer for a minute at a time until soft enough to remove by hand.
Leg Tips –Item #C-LegTip
The purpose of the Leg Tips is to help prevent the cot from sliding on smooth surfaces.
1. Place a Leg Plug into the large hole of each leg and gently push them into place. Place a
soft cloth over each Leg Plug and gently hit it with a rubber mallet 2-3 times each.
Note: The Leg Plugs must be securely inserted into the holes-this can only be accomplished
with the use of a rubber mallet. Pushing the Leg Plugs into the holes with your hand only will
result in them popping out over time.
Important! Observe your pet when the Leg Plugs are in place, to make certain they
are unable to remove the plugs. You may want to permanently glue the Leg Plugs in
place.
To remove (unglued) Leg Plugs, push end of unsharpened pencil through small hole in bottom
of legs.
Leg Plugs –Item #C-Plug-**
The purpose of the Leg Plugs is to cover the exposed large hole on the top of the legs.
(The holes enable the cot to be ‘nested’ when stacked, taking up less storage space).
