LIMITED WARRANTY
WARRANTY
This is your warranty on the Xtrax™ Xtraction Cleaning Machine. This warranty is hereby
offered to you upon proof of application.
COVERAGE
Malco Products, Inc. guarantees to the original owner of the Xtrax Machine that the Xtrax will be
free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of
one year and that the polyethylene machine housing of the Xtrax will be free of cracks or leaks
for a period of three years, subject to the terms and conditions that follow. Should the Xtrax fail
during the warranty period, Malco will repair or replace the defective parts, assemblies or
machine housing.
LIMITATION OF COVERAGE
This warranty does not apply to:
1. Filters, brass fittings, seals, o-rings and quick disconnects. These are considered
expendable in normal use.
2. Repair or replacement of any machine component(s) with any part(s) other than genuine
Malco Xtrax parts. Such repair or replacement will immediately void this and all
warranties.
3. Damage caused by misuse, alternation, owner neglect, lack of proper maintenance,
improper chemical use (including dry cleaning solutions), improper voltage, abuse,
accident, freezing, flood or other naturally occurring incidents.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH MAY ARISE UNDER STATE LAW, INCLUDING ALL
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO
NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE
ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
MALCO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES BECAUSE OF LOSS OF USE, OR LOSS
OF TIME, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT
ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Application for warranty must be completely filled out and mailed to Malco within thirty (30) days
from the date of the purchase of the Xtrax Machine.
If the parts, assemblies or machine housing fail while the warranty is in effect, you must obtain a
Return Authorization Number by calling Malco Products at 1 (800) 253-2526 or 1 (330) 753-
0361. You will be required to provide the machine and/or part serial number to receive a Return

Authorization Number. Once authorization is obtained, you will be required to ship the
machine or part freight prepaid to Malco Products or its designated depot repair center for repair
/ replacement.
MALCO’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Malco will repair or replace at no charge any parts, assemblies or machine housings which fail
due to manufacturing defects during the warranty period provided that a Return Authorization
Number is obtained and the machine or part(s) is returned freight prepaid to Malco Products or
its designated depot repair center. Malco will ship the repaired or replace part back freight
collect.
If an immediate replacement part is requested before Malco can inspect the suspected faulty
part or have a chance to repair it, Malco will ship the requested part on a COD basis (part plus
freight) or, if credit has been established prior to the request, the part will be shipped on an
Open Account basis (part plus freight). If, after receiving the part, Malco determines that the
part has a manufacturing defect and can be repaired, the part will be repaired to normal working
condition and returned (freight collect) to the owner as a spare part and no refund will be made.
Should Malco determine the part is covered by warranty and cannot be repaired, Malco will
credit an open account customer the same amount as was charged when the replacement part
was sent less freight and will refund a COD customer the same way. However, should Malco
determine the part received was not defective, the owner will be informed of such and credit will
not be given nor will the damaged part be returned unless specifically requested by the owner.
Malco is not responsible to pay for parts supplied by or labor performed by any of its distributors
or any general service companies.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER
