The tripod is extremely compact and lightweight, making it easy
to
carry and transport.

and take out the rectangular quick-release plate from the centre
of
the
head

cap
from
the
plate's screw and fit the plateto your
camera's¼·

as
the camera
lens. Use the ring to fasten the plate securely
to
the camera, but don't use excessive force;
this
could
damage
the
camera's thread. Once the plate
is
fastened
to
the camera,
fold
the
ring
down so it lies flat with the plate.

for improved performance with this model
of
camera, ii is best to
Lil
use the specifically designed adaptor included with your tripod. Position the adaptor
underneath the camera, ensuring the hole
is
positioned
to
allow access to the tripod mount.
Ensure also that the arrows
on
the adaptorare facing the direction
of
the lens and then attach
the quick release plate using the ¼" universal screw.
5.
Open the lever
(1)
and attach the plate to the tripod head by slotting the front
of
the plate in

Lil
push the lever to tightly lock the plate and camera
in
place.
HOW
TO
REGULATE
THE
HEIGHT
OF
THE
TRIPOD
G8 & 0
7.
To
adjust the height
of
the tripod, each leg has telescopic sections that can
be
released and
extended: open the lever on the leg locking collar, slide the inner section in or out until the
desired extension
is
reached, then close the locking lever again.
Leg
sections should be
extended
in
order, from
top
to bottom (widest section first, narrowest section last),
to
reach
the required tripod height. Using the leg sections with larger diameters makes the tripod
more stable.
8.
For optimal stability, the tripod's centre column should only really
be
used
as
the final means
of
height adjustment,
or
as
a way
of
reaching the tripod's maximum extension.
Turn
the col-
umn lock knob anti-clockwise to release the column
(1),
then extend the column to the de-
sired height
(2).
9.
To
lockthe centre column at the desired height, close the knob
by
turning it clockwise.

To
unlock the head, turn knob 'A' anti-
clockwise,
move
the camera
to
the desired
position
and
then
turn
the
knob
clockwise to
lock.
A The position
of
knob
"A"
can be changed at any time
for
more comfortable use and
Lil
grip, without affecting the ball lock. Pull the knob outward, rotate
as
desired and re-
lease
the
knob,
which
will
automatically
return
to
its
initial
position.
11.
Use
knob
"BN
to adjust ball movement friction: this facilitates head position control prior to
locking and ensures greater precision.
To
adjust friction, make
sure
the ball is not blocked
(turn knob
"A'
anti-clockwise); then hold the camera with one hand and turn knob
"B'
clock-
wise
to
increase the amount of
friction
or
anti-clockwise to decrease it.
A Friction does not block the camera: it is recommended to always block the ball by
Lil
turning knob "A• clockwise.
