SMALLTRACK MOUNTING GUIDE
Total height of the Smalltrack in the bracket is 50mm (29mm for the bracket only).
The bracket needs to be fixed on the vehicle by the 4 fixations points.
During the bracket installation on your vehicle:
•Keep the Smalltrack buttons visible and accessible
•Keep the top part not masked and with a clear view to the sky (for the internal antennas)
•Bracket must be in a horizontal position (from 0°to 50°inclination)
SILENT-BLOCKS
The bracket must be installed with a shock absorption system : silent-blocks
→ref Marlink : APR4057 (available on our E-shop https://eshop.marlink.com/en//)
Without a valid shock absorption system, the installation will be declared as no compliant at the
technical checks.
The power cable must be directly connected to the fuse box with permanent power supply (no
breaker –fuse 3A ).
If the configuration of your vehicle doesn’t enable it, you can connect your power cable to a
power extension (connected to the fuse box) as shown below :
1) Prepare your power cable, separating the black wire from the red and orange wires
2) Connect the power extension cable with the Iritrack power cable using terminals provided
- red & orange with red
- black with black
3) Use a plier for the connection
4) Then connect it to your battery
