1. PREFACE
Please carefully read this owner’s manual before using this vehicle, improper use of
the vehicle could result in harm, injury or accidents.
◆ This owner’s manual includes operation instructions for all aspects of this

vehicle, for assembly, and for how to deal with possible accidents.
◆ This owner’s manual is written solely for DL24500-2.
◆ The symbols used in this manual are explained below.
Warning: improper use of this vehicle could lead to serious injury
Attention: improper use of this vehicle could lead to personal injury and/or
property damage.
Suggestion: follow these instructions to maintain safe and efficient operations
and functions of the vehicle.
2. SAFETY NOTICE
2.1 Before driving
Te user should get familiar with all functions and features to operate this vehicle
before driving. Please always keep safety in mind. There may be situations where the
user should have a trained assistant present so the user can become familiar with the
operations and functions of the vehicle. An assistant can be a family member or a care
professional. To minimize any personal injury read all of the following safety
precautions prior to driving.
The same traffic rules that apply to pedestrians apply to the use of this vehicle
◆ Ride on the sidewalk, parkway or pedestrian areas only. Never ride
on freeways or roads. It may be difficult for traffic to see you
when driving your vehicle.
◆ Always be aware of all obstacles around you.(cars, people, terrain
and weather).
◆ Be extremely cautious when driving your vehicle in busy areas,
shopping mall, business centers, etc.
◆ If you take prescription drugs please consult your physician before
operation your vehicle. Some medication may impair your ability
to maintain safe operations of your vehicle.
◆ Please do not operate your vehicle when your under the influence of alcohol,
this may impair your ability to operate your vehicle in a safe manner.
◆ Please follow pedestrian traffic lights.
Practice operating your vehicle
The user must use care and common sense when driving your vehicle. While becoming
familiar with the operation of your vehicle, please practice in a wide open area, like a park. In
order not to fall out of your vehicle while driving, keep in mind the status of the driving
motion, such as accelerating, stooping, turning, reversing and up-and-down ramps
◆ Please set the speed dial at the low speed during your initial practice.
◆ Be sure to have someone accompany you and watch out for your safety when
driving for the first time.
◆ Be sure you are able to control and operate your vehicle easily and
confidently. Then you can adjust your vehicle to a higher speed.

The DL24500-2 vehicle is limited to one passenger.
Do not carry passenger on your vehicle.(including children)
Do not use this vehicle to carry or haul goods
◆ Te maximum weight that can be carried is (includes goods) 130kg(286.6lbs).
◆ Maximum loading weight for the basket is 5kg.
2.2 While driving
Please carry out daily inspections.
Do not stretch your body out of the vehicle while in motion
◆ Such action may cause you to lose balance or to be injured due to falling.
◆ Pay attention to avoid your clothes being tangled into the wheels.
When crossing train tracks
◆ Before entering the crossing please stop completely. While crossing, make
sure that the vehicle wheels do not get stuck in the track.
Do not use your vehicle under the circumstances below.
◆ Roads with heavy traffic, mud, gravel, bumps, snow, or ice. Use caution on
roads that have a canal or waterway without any fences or hedges or that are
too narrow. These conditions can affect the performance of your vehicle and
could lead to an accident or injury.
Keep away from place where your wheels could get stuck.
◆ Do not drive at night or when it is raining, snowing, misting or gale weather.

and could lead to an accident or injury
◆ Your vehicle is not designed to travel up or down stairs or escalators, always
use an elevator.
About mobile phone and other electric equipment
◆ Do not use a mobile phone or other wireless communication device while
driving.
◆ Do not charge your mobile phone or other electric device from your vehicles
battery
Ramps, inclines and declines
◆ Do not drive onto steep ramps.
◆ When coming to an inclined road, please drive slowly. You should adjust the
speed dial to a middle setting. It is a good idea to maintain a safe speed and
avoid any sudden stops or starts. When going down a decline it is a good idea
to set the speed dial to a low setting to ensure a safe and controlled decent.
Never put the vehicle in reverse when traveling down a decline.
◆ Do not drive over large drop offs.
◆ Do not cross wide gutters it may cause your wheel to get stuck.
◆ Please slow down when driving on roads with drop offs.
◆ Do not make sudden turns when driving on gravel roads or ramps.
◆ Avoid any terrain or obstacles that make you feel uncomfortable or if you

have any doubt that your vehicle will not perform in a safe manner.
◆ Many buildings now have ramps with 180 degree turns, so it is a good idea to
practice your turning skills in order to not get caught on railings or to get
caught on any obstacles witch could lead to injury.
WARNING
◆ Do not set the vehicle in free-wheel mode when driving on an incline or
decline. This could lead to the user being unable to control the speed of the
vehicle.
◆ Turn the power on again to re-start your vehicle.
Maximum user weight limit
“WEIGHT CAPACITY.” Loading over the limitation will lead to the damage or
malfunction of your vehicle, and could lead to injury.

4.2 How to operate your vehicle
◆Power switch
Turn the key to power ON or OFF
ON: power is turned on
OFF: power is turned off without lights on
LIGHT: Both power and light are turned on
◆Speed Dial
Allows the user to set the forward and reverse speed accordingly.
◆Forward, Reverse and Braking
Pull the speed control lever down with your right hand and the vehicle will move
forward.
Pull the speed control lever down with your left hand and the vehicle will move
backward.
The horn will beep when the vehicle is in reverse.
Release the speed control lever while in either forward or reverse direction, the
electromagnetic brake in the motor will be activated and the vehicle will stops .
◆Signal Lamp Switch
The light will flash and buzzer will make a “click –click” sound when pushing the
turning buttons.(Shown by arrows)
Left signal lamp Right signal lamp
Pushing the turning button again and the signal lamp will be turned off.
◆ Horn Button
The warning horn will be activated when the button is pressed.
◆ Key Hole/Power Switch/Light Switch
Turning the key to “ON” will turn on the vehicle. turning the key to “LIGHT” will
turn on both front and rear light.
◆ Braking
Electro-magnetic brake: Release the speed control lever completely, and the
electromagnetic brake will be activated.
Operation as below
Normally, the spanner is at this position

When there is no power and need to push with hand, you can turn the spanner into
the following position and then it works. Please notice, when spanner is in this position,
the car can not be started up.
◆ Seat
1. The seat can be turned to 45 degrees or 90 degrees.
2. Push the sea adjustable bar forward to change angle.
3. Seat height can be adjusted by loosening the seat height adjustment pin, adjusting
the seat to the desired height and then re-tightening the pin.
◆Battery Condition Meter
1. When the power switch is turned on, the battery meter will light up with 5 LED
lights indicating the remained power of the battery.
All 5 LED lights: full of power.1 LED light with beeper
Warning: out of power.
2. The remaining power indicated by the battery meter will vary by the driving time
and the way the vehicle is driving. Repeated starting, stopping and climbing will
consume the power more quickly.
4.3 How to set to freewheel mode
1. Drive on mode: push the lever down completely, the vehicle can be driven by
motor power.
2. Free-wheel Mode: Lift the lever up completely or press the Starting Push button,
the vehicle can be moved manually.

◆ TillerAdjustment
The Tiller can be adjusted between 0°~80°by following steps.
1. Pull the adjusting lever on the tiller.
2. Adjust the tiller to the desired angle.
3. Let the lever go, and tiller will automatically be fixed in the desired angle.
Folded board operation First: Unwrap the folded board with one hand
Second: Hold the tiller with another hand and press
◆ Starting and Driving
1. Make sure the seat is properly installed.
2. Make sure the tiller has been properly secured.
3. Make sure the armrest has been returned to the lowest position. (If applicable )
4. Turn the power switch to “ON” If necessary, turn on the headlights.
5. Check the battery meter to see if there is enough power for your trip .If you have
any doubt, please charge speed.
6. Set to the proper speed.
7. Be sure the forward /reverse speed lever is in working condition.
8. Make sure the electromagnetic brake is in working condition.
◆About Driving speed
The speed scale is printed on speed dial label, ranging from left (Lowest speed) to

right. (Highest speed)
◆Stopping
1. Release the speed control lever completely. The vehicle will naturally brake and
stop.
2. Turn the power switch to “OFF.” Then pull out the key.
4.4 How to charge

DAILY CHECKING
Check the following items before driving.

Can they be turned left, and right smoothly?
Speed control dial Can it be adjusted freely and function properly?
Speed control lever Does the vehicle move when the lever is pressed down?
Does the vehicle stop if the lever is released?
motor Are there any abnormal noises from the motor?
Does the electromagnetic brake work properly?
Freewheel mode Does the freewheel mode lever work properly?
Battery condition meter Is the light on when power is switched on?
Is the remaining power enough for your trip?
horn Does the horn work properly?
Turn signal Does the turn signal work properly?
headlight Does the headlight work properly?
taillight Do the taillights work properly?
seat Can the seat be turned and adjusted smoothly?
Rearview mirror Are they adjusted properly or broken?
tires Are there any cracks or other damage to the tires?
Are the tire properly inflated?
Check the tires tread depth.
other Are there any abnormal noises?
Is there an oil leakage from transmission box?
