Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple: we
want to produce amplifiers which
stimulate the emotions for those who
enjoy music.
We believe that every piece of
music played through our amplifiers
should arouse in the listener the
same emotions as the artist who
composed it and the musician who
interpreted it.
We believe by using
MasterSound amplifiers that the
listener will feel immersed in the
music, absorbed in the e ecution of
the piece, enjoying, in the most
natural way, the details of the voices
and the instruments played
.

Mastersound story
MasterSound is an Italian company
which has produced, for the past 15 years,
class “A”, tube amplifiers.
Our most important priority is to
build equipment of the highest quality.
We give the highest attention to
quality in our design, our components, and
our construction.
Each part of our amplifier has been
hand built with passion and skill.
Our attention to detail will guarantee
years and years of trouble free listening.

We have carefully designed and
hand built all of the transformers.
We, at MasterSound, believe that the
output transformer is the heart of any tube
amplifier.
So, we have used our e tensive e perience
in transformer technology to help create
MasterSound’s greatest achievement to date,

Integrated Amplifier
Compact 300 B
The
Compact 300 B
is the culmination of the collective knowledge and
e perience of all those who work with Master Sound.
The total absence of feedback makes the
Compact 300 B
fast, with imaging
that is truly amazing.
Our new pre-amp section, of the
Compact 300 B
grew from our careful
research. Combined with our unique output transformer and powerful, the 300 B triodes
working in Single Ended mode, the amplifier renders a genuinely engaging sound.
We use a semiautomatic biasing system, which once regulated, will give optimal
life to the final tubes.
Finally, we use 24 karat gold connections on the
Compact 300 B
circuit
board. The capacitors are either manufactured by high quality for Master Sound

Inside
We built the
Compact 300 B
with the utmost care, using only selected
materials.
Our product passed the stricter quality tests with e cellent results and is now ready
to offer You many years of pleasant listening.
A new amplifier needs to be put on at low volume in order to perform at its best the
musicality and high definition of sound.
After a “training” period, You will have to play Your apparatus for at least twenty
minutes before the circuits can entirely stabilize and reach the ideal temperature for
playing.
We therefore recommend that You follow our simple instructions to get the best results
in listening.

Tubes installation
During the transportation the tubes are kept in an appropriate bo and then they must be
placed in the correct position (see the photo above).
The 845 tube is indicated either by letter A, B, which stand between the pins and are
written on the base: that is the right place for the tube to be installed.
BE CAREFUL: there is only one correct position for the tube! So please check the right position
of the four pins and do not force the installation in any way: You could seriuosly damage the
sockets .

Check list
To be done by the dealer:
set up the amplifier with the right impedance 4/8 ohm suitable for the speakers and
select the right main line according to country.
The above checks are to be made inside the amplifier and shall be carried out only by
qualified staff.
To be done by the Purchaser:
• Place the amplifier on a solid and flat surface.
• Place the tubes in their correct socket positions.
• Connect the speakers to the speaker connectors joining the positive cable (the red one or
the one with the plus sign) to the red plug and the negative cable (the black one or the
one with the minus sign) to the black plug.
• Connect the amplifier making sure that the voltage in Your main line is the same as
indicated on the back of the unit and corresponds to Your country’s electrical current

Switching on of the amplifier
A red led flashing lights, which should go on when You switch on the amplifier,
indicating the correct functioning.
When the inner tensions have reached the correct level, while the red led light
grows bright, the
Compact 300 B
is ready to work.
Only after the amplifier be pre-heated for at least thirty minutes, will it reach the
ideal temperature so as to get the best results in listening
Last recommendations

Any change of interconnectors (cables, etc...) must be done with the amplifier
switched in the off position.
Never move or remove the amplifier when tubes are still hot.
