A laboratory in which to give full reign to your own creativity, as you experiment with
the various “dimensions”of delay.
This versatile delay is user-friendly and suitable for immediate use, but also ideal for
users with a passion for sound research and experimentation, who will soon discover
the unique moods which can be created by synchronizing the various controls.
TimeLab is an analog/digital hybrid delay. The dry signal and the repetition lter are
controlled by the analog part of the circuit, while powerful, specially created digital
algorithms are used to manage the repetitions, reproducing 4 original delay resonances,
all of exceptionally high sound quality.
Main features:
a choice of four types of delay: Digital – Analog – Resonance – Modulation
an active analog lter, to give emphasis to the response frequency of the repetitions
a selection of times, from 0 ms to 1000 ms
Tap Tempo with subdivision between quarter notes, dotted eighth notes and
eighth note triplets
Control over delay time with soft pitch bending.
The ‘Tap Tempo’allows you to synchronize the delay time with the time of the band or the
music base, or indeed with whatever time you would like to achieve, and to do so
practically, accurately and quickly, directly with your foot even when the pedal is in bypass.
Controls: DELAY - REPEATS - MIX - FILTER - TYPE - TAP TEMPO - RATIO - BYPASS
DELAY: controls the delay time
REPEATS: varies the number of repetitions, from 1 to uncontrolled uctuation
MIX: controls the level of delay that is mixed with the dry signal
FILTER: an analog lter which gives emphasis to the response frequency of the repetitions.
It can be used with all types of delay to enrich the sound environment with unique and
unusual colors.
The control is at in its central position. Moving it to the left allows you to add emphasis to
the low frequency sounds by obscuring or muing the repetitions, whereas moving it to
the right will have the opposite eect, adding emphasis to the medium-high frequencies.
TYPE: oers a choice of 4 dierent types of delay: DIGITAL - ANALOG - RESONANCE - MOD
TAP: press the quarters to set the delay time
RATIO: changes the tap subdivision between quarter notes, dotted eighth notes, and
eighth note triplets.
BYPASS: to activate or deactivate the delay eect.

Delay types:
DIGITAL: a transparent and well-dened delay. Used to create a sharp atmosphere and
robotic eects. Time can be varied from 0 ms to 1000 ms.
ANALOG: recreates the depth, warmth and nuance of the best analog delays. Soft and
warm moods and deep, open distortions. Time can be varied from 0 ms to 1000 ms.
RESONANCE: oers all the naturalness, depth and warmth of the analog delays, but
with the addition of a resonance lter, which gives the sound a psychedelic touch, with
a avor of period synth. Time can be varied from 0 ms to 1000 ms.
MOD: an analog delay which adds to the repetitions a multi-vocal choral eect, giving
them range and depth. Useful for creating airy and ethereal eects. Time can be varied
from 0 ms to 930 ms.

Notes:
Can be powered by a battery or an optional AC/DC adaptor.
The input jack also works as the power switch.
Power is turned on whenever a plug is inserted into the input jack, and is turned o
when the plug is disconnected.
Keep the plug out from the jack when not in use.
We don’t recommend using daisy chain power supplies but an isolated power supply.
9 V DC / 100mA
Changing the battery
To replace the battery following the step below:
1. loosen the screws at the base of the pedal, then remove the base of the pedal unit;
2. remove the old battery from the battery housing, and remove the snap cord
connected to it;
3. connect the snap cord to the new battery, and place the battery into the housing;
4. close the pedal, insert the screws into the holes and fasten them securely.
