Note! Please carefully read this information before
using the device.
Warning! Keep out of the reach of children. Age
limit 18. Do not aim the device at people/animals.
Do not touch the nozzle directly after use (risk of
burn injury). Do not activate the device in a moving
vehicle if the driver requires a clear view. Keep
all body parts behind the nozzle while using the
extinguisher.
Information The MAUS Xtin Klein uses potassium-
based smoke to extinguish fires. It leaves no
discharge residue and the smoke is completely
non-toxic. No risk of explosion in the event of
fire or extreme pressure (collision). Operational
temperature range -20°C – +60°C (-4° – +140°F).
Dismantling the device voids the guarantee and
entails a major risk of personal injury. Store in a
dry and ventilated place – not with combustible
material. The guarantee is valid for 5 years from the
date of manufacture (device shaft). Devices are CE
marked and certified by RINA S.p.A.
Fire classes RINA S.p.A. has certified the MAUS
Xtin Klein for fires rated Class B (flammable liquids
such as oil, petrol and lighter fluid) and Class C
(gases such as liquid petroleum gas and ammonia).
In addition to Class B and Class C, the device is
capable of extinguishing smaller fires rated Class A
(wood, paper and plastic), Class F (cooking oils and
fats) small electrical fires. The device is not capable
of extinguishing burning metals such as those found
in flares and may not be effective on glowing ember.

IMPORTANT! This device is not capable of
extinguishing burning metals, for example
magnesium in flares and should not be used
to extinguish coals or embers. It is designed to
extinguish small fires in the initial phase.

be returned to the place of purchase once the
guarantee has expired and a used device should be
disposed of at a recycling centre as a spray can with
contents or in accordance with local regulations.
MAUS Xtin Klein has a limited ability and shall
not replace approved fire extinguishers.

Informationen MAUS Xtin Klein löscht Feuer
mit kaliumbasiertem Rauch. Dabei fallen keine
Löschrückstände an und der Rauch ist völlig giftfrei.
Keine Explosionsgefahr bei Bränden oder extremem
Druck (Kollision). Funktionsfähig bei Temperaturen von
-20°C – +60°C. Bei Auseinandernehmen des Geräts
erlischt die Garantie und es besteht große Gefahr von
Personenschäden. Aufbewahrung an einem trockenen
und belüfteten Ort – nicht zwischen leicht entzündlichen
Stoffen und Gegenständen. Die Garantie gilt 5 Jahre ab
dem Herstellungsdatum (siehe Kennzeichnung am
Schaft des Gerätes). Die Geräte sind CE-gekennzeichnet
und zertifiziert von RINA S.p.A.
Brandklassen RINA S.p.A. hat MAUS Xtin Klein in
Klasse B (flüssige Brennstoffe wie z. B. Öl, Benzin und
Brennspiritus) und Klasse C (Gasbrennstoffe wie z. B.
Flüssiggas und Ammoniak) zertifiziert. Über Klasse
B und C hinaus kann das Gerät kleinere Brände der
Klasse A (Holz, Papier und Kunststoffe), F (Speiseöl und
Speisefett) und Strom bekämpfen. Brennende Metalle,
die z. B. in bengalischen Feuern enthalten sind, können
mit dem Gerät nicht bekänpft werden. Uneffektiv gegen
Glut. 8BC.
WICHTIG! Dieses Gerät ist nicht in der Lage, brennende
Metalle, wie z. B. Magnesium in Fackeln, zu löschen und
sollte nicht zum Löschen von Kohle oder Glut verwendet
werden. Es wurde entwickelt, um kleine Brände in der
Anfangsphase zu löschen.

Instructions for use
1. Pull the manual safety tag.
2. Start from 1 meter distance and point the
nozzle at the base of the fire.
3. Press the Start-button once to activate
the unit.
4. Hold the extinguisher steady and do not
use sweeping movements. Approach
the fire as it decreases in strength to
extinguish it completely. It is important
that all of the “smoke” (aerosol) lands on
the fire.
Bedienungsanleitung
1. Ziehen Sie an der manuellen
Sicherheitslasche.
2. Beginnen Sie aus 1 Meter Entfernung
und richten Sie die Düse auf den Boden
des Feuers.
3. Drücken Sie die Starttaste einmal, um
das Gerät zu aktivieren.
4. Halten Sie den Feuerlöscher ruhig
und verzichten Sie auf schwungvolle
Bewegungen. Nähern Sie sich dem
Feuer, wenn es an Stärke verliert, um
es vollständig zu löschen. Es ist wichtig,
dass der gesamte „Rauch“ (Aerosol) auf
dem Feuer landet.

¡Precaución! Mantenga el extintor fuera del alcance
de los niños. No apunte el extintor hacia personas/
animales. No toque la boquilla directamente después
de su uso (riesgo de quemaduras). No encienda el
extintor dentro de un vehículo en movimiento si es
necesario que el conductor tenga la vista libre. No

durante el proceso de extinción.
Información MAUS Xtin Klein extingue el fuego
con humo a base de potasio. No produce residuos
de extinción y el humo es completamente inocuo.
No hay riesgos de explosión en caso de incendio o
de presión extrema (colisión). Funciona bien con
temperaturas entre -20°C y +60°C. Si se desmonta
el extintor, cesa la garantía y existe un riesgo grande
de que se produzcan lesiones personales. Se debe
guardar en un lugar seco y ventilado –no cerca de
artículos fácilmente inflamables. La garantía es por
5 años a partir de la fecha de producción (véase la
etiqueta en el mango del extintor). Los extintores no
utilizados deben ser devueltos al lugar de compra una
vez que haya vencido la garantía y el extintor utilizado
se debe clasificar en las estaciones de reciclado
como vaporizador con contenido o de acuerdo con
las normativas locales. Los extintores cuentan con la
marca CE y están certificados por RINA S.p.A.
Tipos de fuego RINA S.p.A. ha certificado el extintor
MAUS Xtin Klein en la clase B (combustibles líquidos
como por ejemplo aceite, gasolina y alcohol de
encender) y clase C (gases como por ejemplo butano
y amoníaco). Además de las clases B y C el extintor
puede combatir fuegos pequeños de las clases A
(madera, papel y plástico), F (aceite de cocina, grasa)
y Electricidad. Este aparato no tiene capacidad para
extinguir metales ardiendo como el que se encuentra
en bengalas y no podrá apagar brasas ardiendo. 8BC.
¡IMPORTANTE! Este dispositivo no sirve para
extinguir fuegos de metales (como, por ejemplo,
incendios de magnesio). Tampoco debe utilizarse
para apagar brasas o ascuas. Está diseñado para la
extinción de pequeños incendios en fase inicial.

MAUS Xtin Klein carece de capacidad para apagar
metales ardiendo (fuegos de bengala), solo
debería usarse para extinguir fuegos en su fase

Waarschuwing! Houd bij de vuurbestrijding

Informatie MAUS Xtin Klein blust met rook op basis
van kalium. Deze laat geen blusresten achter en
de rook is geheel gifvrij. Geen gevaar voor explosie
bij brand of extreme druk (botsing). Bruikbaar in
de temperaturen tussen -20°C en +60°C. Als het
apparaat uit elkaar gehaald wordt, vervalt de garantie
en bestaat er gevaar voor persoonlijk letsel. Op een
droge en geventileerde plaats bewaren, niet in de
buurt van licht ontvlambare artikelen. De garantie
geldt 5 jaar vanaf productiedatum (zie de markering
op de schacht van het apparaat). Niet gebruikte
apparaten dienen als de garantie verlopen is bij de
plaats van aankoop ingeleverd te worden. Gebruikte
apparaten dienen bij het milieupark als spraybussen
met inhoud dan wel conform plaatselijke regels
ingeleverd te worden. De apparaten zijn voorzien van
het CE-keurmerk en zijn gecertificeerd door RINA
S.p. A.
Brandklasse RINA S.p.A. heeft de MAUS Xtin
Klein geschikt bevonden voor klasse B (vloeibare
brandstoffen zoals bijvoorbeeld olie, benzine of
aanmaakvloeistof) en klasse C (gasbranden zoals
bijvoorbeeld flessengas en ammoniak). Behalve
klasse B en C is het apparaat ook geschikt voor het
bestrijden van kleine brandjes in de klasse A (hout,
papier en plastic ), F (spijsolie en bak- en braadvet) en
elektrisch. Het apparaat is niet geschikt om brandend
metaal, zoals in bijvoorbeeld Bengaals vuur, mee te
blussen. 8BC.
BELANGRIJK! Dit apparaat is niet in in staat om
brandende metalen te doven, zoals bijvoorbeeld
magnesium in lichtkogels, en het moet ook niet
worden gebruikt om kolen of sintels te doven. Het
is ontworpen om kleine vuurtjes in de beginfase te
doven.Mogelijk niet effectief bij gloeiende kooltjes.

Instrucciones de empleo
1. Tire de la etiqueta de seguridad manual.
2. Manténgase a 1 metro de distancia
y apunte la boquilla hacia la base del
fuego.
3. Presione el botón de inicio (Start) una vez
para activar la unidad.
4. Sostenga firmemente el extintor y no
haga movimientos de barrido. Vaya
acercándose al fuego a medida que
disminuya su intensidad para apagarlo
por completo. Es importante que todo el
“humo” del aerosol caiga sobre el fuego.
