abrasion or any other misuse or condition that may be detrimental to the integrity of the extinguisher.

4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Fire extinguishers should be commissioned and installed by a Competent Fire Engineer who will check the product prior to installation
and apply a service label. Some Insurance Policies may be invalidated if the service label does not carry a Fire Engineers signature.
4.1.1. ThenamesofFireEngineeringcompaniescanbefoundon-lineorinYellowPagesorsimilarundersuchheadingsasFireProtection
EngineersandFireExtinguishing.TheseCompanieswillnotonlyinstallyourextinguisher(s)butprovidelongertermservicingcover.
4.1.2. WewouldrecommendthataCompanyapprovedbyFETA,BAFE,BSIortheBritishFireConsortiumbeselected.
4.1.3. ForfurtheradviceonthelocationofyourextinguisherpleasecontactyourlocalFireEngineerorFireBrigade.
4.1.4. Theextinguishermountingbracketshouldbexedtothewallsothattheextinguisherhandleisapproximately1metreabovetheoor.
4.1.5. Extinguishersshouldremainintheirallocatedlocation,andshouldbeusedonlyforthepurposesofextinguishingare.

5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Theextinguishersshouldbevisuallyinspectedatleastquarterly,butpreferablymonthly,bytheuser,toensurethattheequipmentisin
itsdesignatedposition,hasnotbeenusedandhasnotbeentamperedwith.Theservicingofreghtingequipmentmustbecarried
outbyacompetentpersonusingthecorrecttoolstofollowtheproceduresofBS5306part3,2003andthemanufacturersinstructions.
This maintenance should be performed at least annually.
5.1.1. Inspect regularly for damage and operational serviceablility.
5.1.2. Ifpressureindicatorisintheredzonerechargetheextinguisher.
DO NOT test prior to use.
5.1.3. CheckservicabilityatleastannuallyinaccordancewithBS5306PART3:2003.
5.1.4. Recharge after complete or partial use.
5.1.5. RellingandservicingshouldbecarriedoutbyacompetentpersoninaccordancewithBS5306-9:2015
5.1.6. Use only product and spare parts approved by the manufacturer for this model.
5.1.7. Rellcharge:6litres(100%).Water:5.82litres(97%),AFFF:0.18litres(3%).Pressurisedwithnitrogentoaworkingpressureof12
bar at 200C.
5.1.8. Storage/operating temperature range : +50C to + 600C. Protect from frost.
5.1.9. Testpressure(PT):27bar.
