END-USER WARRANTY
GENERAL PRODUCT WARRANTY
Limited warranty for United States
This limited warranty applies in the United States for all products manufactured or distributed by
Regent USA under the MAXENT brand name. This limited warranty extends to the original
purchaser or any person receiving this product as a gift from the original purchaser only and is
not transferable. Please contact Regent USA or your authorized Regent USA reseller for all
questions regarding this limited warranty.
Terms of the warranty
Regent USA warrants the product you have purchased from Regent USA or from an authorized
Regent USA reseller against defects in materials or workmanship under normal usage
conditions for the time period indicated based on the type of product purchased. This limited
warranty commences on the date of purchase and entitles you to parts, excluding expendable
parts, and a repair labor warranty as indicated. Products sold and used for commercial
applications have a limited ninety (90) day warranty for all parts and labor. Your sales receipt,
showing the date of purchase is your proof of purchase date.
During the warranty period, Regent USA will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at
Regent USA's option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance.
All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of
Regent USA.
For products (a) sold and used for commercial applications (b) sold outside of the continental
United States, warranty service is obtained by bringing or shipping your product to an
authorized Regent USA service provider. This warranty does not cover shipping charges, risk of
loss during shipment, export taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any other charges associated
with transportation of the product to and from the repair facility.
Regent USA retains the right to assess all warranty claims and to determine if damages are
covered by the warranty. In case of a claim that is not covered by the warranty, you will be
contacted to determine whether Regent USA should repair the damage for a fee or whether the
product should be returned to you as received by Regent USA.
Limitations of Remedy
This limited warranty excludes all product(s) that has been damaged or rendered defective (a)
as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by operation outside the usage parameters stated
in the product's User's Guide; (c) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Regent USA;
(d) by modification of the product, or (e) as a result of service by anyone other than an
authorized Regent USA service provider. Regent USA is not responsible for damages caused
by the loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media.
Regent USA is not liable for any damages caused by the product or the failure of the product to
perform, including any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damages, or consequential damages.
Regent USA is not liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for a third party.

This limitation applies whether damages are sought, or a claim made, under this warranty or as
a loss claim (including negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim, or any other
claim. This limitation of liability will be effective even if Regent USA or an authorized
representative of Regent USA has been advised by you of the possibility of any such damages.
This limitation of liability, however, will not apply to claims for personal death or injury.
Before Obtaining Warranty Service
Before contacting Regent USA for warranty service, please refer to your users manual to make
sure all trouble-shooting procedures have been reviewed. If you find that service is needed, call
the Regent USA customer service center toll-free at 1-888-373-4368 or visit http://www.regent-
usa.com.For calls outside the continental US, please call the Regent USA customer service
center at (626) 810-2250. You will need to present your bill of sale or other proof of purchase
when requested.
Obtaining Depot Warranty Service
If you purchased a Regent USA product in the United States you are entitled to depot repair
service during the warranty period subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Depot warranty service is available for all Products purchased and located in the
continental United States.
2. You must contact Regent USA Technical Support Center at 1-888-373-4368.
3. Regent USA or Regent USA Technical Support Center will attempt to resolve technical
issues over the phone. If telephone resolution is not possible, Regent USA or Regent
USA Customer Service Center will then issue a Return Materials Authorization ("RMA")
number to be used as a means of identifying the product returned. RMA authorizations
and numbers are valid for fifteen (15) business days and void thereafter
4. You must return the product to Regent USA or unless otherwise directed by Regent USA
to a Regent USA Authorized Service Provider. You must prepay any shipping charges,
export taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any charges associated with transportation of
the Regent USA product. In addition, you are responsible for insuring any Product
shipped or returned and assume the risk of loss during.
5. All returned Products must be accompanied with (i) the original shipping and packing
materials, (ii) a description of the Regent USA product symptom and (iii) proof of the
place and date of purchase. The RMA number must be clearly printed on packing slip
and on the exterior-shipping container. All Products must be sent in secure packaging to
avoid any shipping damages.
6. Regent USA and Regent USA Authorized Service Provider reserve the right to refuse
and return, freight collect, Products (i) that are not covered by Regent USA's warranty; or
(ii) for which there is no trouble found. Products delivered to Regent USA or a Regent
USA Authorized Service Provider with an expired RMA may be refused and returned to
the customer freight collect.
7. Regent USA or Regent USA Authorized Service Provider will use its best efforts to
service Products within 30 business days after Regent USA's or Regent USA Authorized
Service Provider's receipt of the Products at its warehouse facilities located at California,
USA, or some other location identified by Regent USA. The customer may designate
only one location within the continental Untied States for return shipments. Regent USA

and Regent USA Authorized Service Provider are not responsible for shipping or other
delays beyond their control.
8. Refund policy is depended on the sales term between end users and resellers/retailers.
Regent USA will only provide repair or replacement services to end-users.
Out of Warranty
•If the warranty has expired, Sampo will still repair or service your product for a fee. The
request for service will be held until payment for all repairs are received in full.
Damages
•All damages must be reported IMMEDIATELY and no later than 7 days after receipt of
the product. Customer must stipulate on the receiving freight bill that there is visual
damage to the carton and/or the goods when delivered. It is the customer’s
responsibility to inspect all freight for concealed damage before signing for release.
Once the customer or receiving party signs for release of goods from the carrier, the
customer/receiving party then assumes all liability and responsibility for damages unless
otherwise noted. After 7 days, customer is responsible for all incurred repair costs,
which include: labor, parts, and all related shipping charges
DOA (Dead On Arrival) Policy
•Definition of DOA is no video or no power
•DOA period is 30-days from purchase date
•Proof of purchase indicating the date of purchase is required
•Regent USA will send out a replacement unit upon DOA unit received in a Regent USA
facility
•Regent USA will pay for both ways freight to a single destination, ground floor delivery.
Certain residential delivery may be extra.
•NOTE: If the returned product is found to have no problem, there will be a $250.00
service fee plus freight charges.
Plasma and LCD Displays
•One (1) year parts and labor from purchase date
oDOA – Refer to DOA policy
oWithin 30 days, Regent USA will pay both ways freight
oFrom 31- 90 days, Regent USA will pay for one way freight
oFrom 91 days to one year, customer pays both ways freight. Customer needs to
pack the PDP/LCD display in its original box and send the unit back with the
RMA number visible on the outside. The unit needs to be insured by customer

and for PDP's only, a Regent USA authorized trucking company must be used.
No Fed-Ex or UPS shipments will be allowed for PDP.
oFreight is single destination, ground floor delivery. Certain residential delivery
may be extra.
•Refurbished/Demo units carry a one (1) year parts and labor warranty and is for repair
only.
•NOTE: If the returned product is found to have no problem, there will be a $250.00
service fee plus freight charges.
DVD Players
•One (1) year parts and 90-days labor from purchase date.
oDOA – Refer to DOA policy

oFrom 31- 90 days, Regent USA will pay for one way freight
