accumulation of lint, dust, and
dirt.
26.Interior ofdryer andexhaust duct
shouldbe cleanedperiodically
byqualifiedservice personnel.
27.Dryer willnot operatewith
loadingdooropen. DONOT
bypass door safety switch by
permittingdryer tooperate with
dooropen. Dryerwill stop
tumblingwhen dooris opened.
Do not use dryer if it does not
stoptumbling when door is
openedor startstumbling
withoutpressing orturning the
STARTmechanism.Remove the
dryerfrom use andcall
theservice person.
28.Removelaundry immediately
after the dryer stops.
29.ALWAYS follow the fabric care
instructions supplied by the
garmentmanufacturer.
1. Readallinstructions before
usingdryer.
2. Installdryeraccording to
InstallationInstructions. Referto
theGrounding Instructionsin the
InstallationInstructions for
propergroundingof thedryer.
3. Do not dry articles that have
beencleaned in,washed in,
soaked in, or spotted with
gasoline,dry-cleaning solvents,
orotherflammable orexplosive
substances. Vapors could ignite
orexplode.
4. Do not use dryer to dry clothes
whichhave tracesof any
flammable substance, such as
vegetableoil, cookingoil,
machineoil, flammable
chemicals, thinner, etc., or
anythingcontaining waxor
chemicals, such as mops and
cleaningcloths. Flammable
substances may cause fabric to
catch fire by itself.
5. Do not store or use gasoline or
otherflammablevaporsand
liquids near this or any other
appliance.
6. Do not allow children to play on
orin dryer.Close supervisionof
childrenis necessary when
dryer is used near children, a
safetyrule for allappliances.
7. Beforedryerisremoved from
serviceordiscarded,remove
doorsto dryingcompartment.
8. Do not reach into dryer if
cylinderisrevolving.
9. Do not install or store dryer
where it will be exposed to water
and/orweather.
10.Donot tamper withdryer
controls.
11.Do notrepair orreplace anypart
ofdryer or attemptany service,
unlessspecifically recommended
inuser-maintenance instructions
orinpublished user-repair
instructionsthat you understand
and have skills to carry out, if you
area consumer.
12.To reduce risk of electric shock or
fire, do not use extension cords or
adapters to connect dryer to
electricalpower source.
13.Use the dryer only for its intended
purpose,drying clothes.
14.Alwaysdisconnect dryer from
electricalsupply before
attemptingany service.
Disconnectpower cordby
grasping the plug, not the cord.
15.Do not use heat to dry articles
containingfoamrubber or
similarlytextured rubberlike
materials.
16.Always clean the lint filter after
every load.Alayer of lint in the
filterreduces dryingefficiency and
prolongsdrying time.
17.Useonly fabric softenersor
products to eliminate static that
areappropriatefor automatic
dryers.
18.Keep your dryer ingood condition.
Bumpingor droppingdryercan
damagesafety features.If
damageoccurs,have dryer
checkedby qualifiedservice
technician.
19.Replacewornpowercords and/or
looseplugs.
20.Do not tumble fiberglasscurtains
anddraperies unlessthe label
says it can be done. If they are
dried, wipe out the cylinder with a
dampcloth toremove particles of
fiberglass.
