B. General
B1. Scope of Delivery
The following components are included in your delivery:
mc 611 preamplier
A/C power cord
MC system remote control
B2. Placement
Make sure to leave a minimum space of 2 cm
(approx. 1”) on all sides of the preamplier to
allow heat to escape.
Never completely cover the preamplier during
operation!
B3. Maintenance
Unplug the unit before cleaning!
To clean the exterior surfaces of your MC preamplier, use a dry, soft cloth. To remove
nger prints and other grease spots use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent dis-
solved in water.
The cloth must never be dripping wet! If water or other uids enter the cabinet, you risk

C3. Optional inputs
Optionally, you can upgrade your mc 611 preampli-
er with two additional inputs for RCA or XLR connec-
tors. The panels for the optional inputs are located
on the back of the preamplier.
The additional XLR input allows you to connect one
more balanced source.
The additional RCA input allows you to connect
one more unbalanced source (e.g. CD direct, phono
MM/MC.)
C4. RS232 port
Your preamplier is equipped with an automation control sys-
tem. It allows you to expand any automation such as IR, RS232
or LAN. In the future even environment control will be possible.
You will nd the RS232 port on the right side of the back of your
preamplier.
C5. Ground connector (GND)
If you want to connect a ground wire (e.g. from your turntable) to
the preamplier, you will nd the ground connector on the left
side of the back of the preamplier.

D7. In- and output level adjustment
On the top of the preamplier you can nd the level
adjusts.
With the input level adjustment you can decrease
each input signal by up to 12 dB. This way you can im-
prove sound by preventing volume peaks when you

The output level adjustment allows you to adapt
the stereo balance to the acoustic conditions of the
environment. You can de- or increase the signals of
each channel and output group separately by up 6 dB.

E. mc 611 Features
E1. Modules
We only use selected high quality modules to build our MC Reference Line preamplier.
These modules play an important part in our preamplier's miracle of sound – and they
truly look amazing.
But please don’t open the preamplier’s cabinet without the assistance of an expert!
Switching standby module
The switching standby module comes with a shield-
ed design for the circuit switching. It ensures that
no magnetic eld or digital noise will come out of
the box. It also prevents any electrical or physical
interferences.
Power supply stage module
The power supply stage module oers an individual
power supply for the amplier section to guaran-
tee that enough electricity is available at any time.
This way the amplier section remains unaected
by the other sections and keeps the sound signal
in perfect condition.
Audio balanced-In module
The audio balanced-In module provides a high qual-
ity connection which ensures an outstanding per-
formance of your balanced music sources.
mc 611 preamplier

Audio output module
The audio output module features a special circuit
design which keeps the output signal in a stable
and smooth condition. The signal will not be aect-
ed by other loading or output applications.
Fully shielded signal cables
We used fully shielded signal cables for the signal
paths. They prevent signals from reaching the
path. This way every signal stays in its original con-
dition to ensure pure signal movement inside the
preamplier.
