slideinoroutofthecabinet.WiththeC 27frontpanel
flushwiththecabinetpanel,pressingthePANLOCbuttons
willlocktheunitfirmlyinthecabinet.
THEPUSHBUTTONS
TheC 27isdesignedtobeusedwithoneortwotape
recorders.Thefrontpanelpushbuttonspermitnormal
playbackofeitherrecorder,monitorasrecordingsare
beingmadeoneitherrecorder,orcopyingtapesfromone
recordertoanotherwhilelisteningtoa separateprogram.

Tomonitorwhilerecordingfromanysourcechosenon
theINPUTSELECTOR,yourtaperecordermusthavesepa-
raterecordandplaybackheadsandseparateelectronics.
TheMONITORswitchesletyoumonitorthequalityoftape
recordingsmadeduringtherecordingprocess.Whenthe
chosenTAPEMONITORpushbuttonisintheINposition
thesoundfromthetapeasitpassestheplaybackheadis
hearda momentafteritisrecorded.Therecordingprocess
continuesasusual.WhentheswitchisintheOUTposition,
theprogramthatisbeingrecordedisheard.
