Equipment not provided by M-Cube that should be present in the store for the correct functioning of the
system:
-An amplifier and the speakers to be connected to the M-Cube player
-An internet router and DSL connection to download the playlists’updates from the M-Cube server
M-Cube Player hardware description
On the front panel of the M-Cube Player (fig. 5) is the Led status light. The light status can be:
on, intermitting or off and it can be either green, red or blue. For details on the LED light status see the
section “M-Cube player system operation”

M-Cube player Installation
Unpack the player and the accessories taking care to keep the original box in good conditions (returns are to
be made in original box).
Connecting your M-Cube player
Position the player near the amplifier and/or router:
1. Audio cable (Fig. 7): plug one end of the audio jack pins in the RCA output in the rear panel of the M-
Cube player (red audio jack pin to red RCA output / white audio jack pin to white RCA output) and
the other end of the audio jack pins to the amplifier audio input. (Fig. 8)

2. Connect the RJ45 cable to the player internet port (Fig. 9) and to the router (1, Fig.10)

3. Plug in the AC/DC power supply cable to the M-Cube player’s power socket (Fig.11) and the other
end in a 220V electrical socket

At the end of the installation call M-Cube Help desk on [phone] between 09.00 and 17.00 (Monday
to Friday) to finalize the installation procedure.
IMPORTANT: please safe keep the original M-Cube player box as this is to be used to return faulty items to
be replaced at no delivery charge.

SYSTEM OPERATION
Once the installation procedure is complete the M-Cube player is ready to play.
For a correct operation check the led status light:
- Green light ON: the player is playing and is correctly connected to the M-Cube server to download
the updates
- Red Light flashing: the player is switching on
- Blue light flashing: server connection attempt
- Blue light ON: the player is connected to the server and is downloading the updates
- Green light ON intermitted by Blue light flashing: the player is not connecting to the server.
Please check that the player is correctly connected to the router. If the problem is not resolved
please call M-Cube Help desk on [phone] between 09.00 and 17.00 (Monday to Friday).
TROUBLE SHOOTING
-The player does not switch on and the LED light is off
Check that the power supply cable is correctly connected to the player and to the electric socket
-The player is switched on but the music is not playing
Check that the audio cable is connected to the M-Cube player and to the amplifier. The audio cable
can be plugged in the AUX, CD-IN, LINE-IN amplifier input. Check that the amplifier channel
selected is the one to which the M-Cube player is connected
-Volume is low
Check the amplifier volume. The M-Cube player volume output is amplified by default

PLAYLIST UPDATES
The M-Cube player comes with a set of music playlists chosen in cooperation with international DJs, divided
by genre and organized into custom playlists.
The marketing department will continuously update the playlists adding new tracks while deleting the old
songs
M-Cube is not responsible for changes made to the playlists by unauthorized Client’s personnel.
The players’music content is the sole responsibility of M-Cube S.p.A., holder of an international
