Description and technical parameters
TWA-M C is an outdoor microphone with symmetrical output directly to the UTP cable
TWA-M C-1VPP is an outdoor microphone with asymmetrical output 1Vpp
TWA-M C-ECT is an outdoor electret microphone 2.2 kΩ, 2.45V C for connection to IP cameras
TWA-TX is a single-channel transmitter with CINCH input, BOX design
TWA-RX 1-channel receiver indoor BOX
BREAK-RX8 is an 8-channel receiver with installation to 19" rack, BIAS outputs
Microphones TWA-MIC, transmitters TWA-Tx and receivers TWA-Rx constitute an integrated converter series for audio signal
capture and transmission. The microphones are omnidirectional and they are supplied in three modifications. The basic
modification is TWA-MIC designed for transmission of audio signal to long distances (up to 1000m) over UTP/FTP Cat5e cable.
TWA-Rx and Rx8 receivers are used for reverse conversion to asymmetric audio signal. TWA-MIC-ECT microphones are
connected, using mic. cable, directly to IP cameras mic. inputs (max. 10m) and modifications TWA-MIC-1VPP are connected
directly to VR audio inputs (max. 100m).
TWA-Tx transmitters are already integrated in TWA-MIC. TWA-Tx transmitters are used for transmission of audio signal from
microphones from other manufacturers.
Note: In case of ground loops in the system we recommend using BREAK-PGS separators.

nstallation and Setting
1.) Mounting of converters
MIC – screw the microphone to surface using the slot at the backside. We recommend to install the microphones
with 20°- 90° slope in the outdoor (raining) conditions.
RX8 – patch panel for mounting into 19˝ frame.
TX – small BOX design, also suitable for installation to camera covers
RX – BOX design, mounting on flat surface
2.) Connection of supply and signal wires
Connect supply and signal wires according to the pictures below.

Twisted pair transmitter TWA-Tx is designed for transmission of audio signal over UTP to the distance of max. 1 km.

inside the microphone). Recommended for signalization of cable
interruption or of microphone separation.

Electret microphone does not require any additional external supply.
The microphone is used for devices that already have integrated BIAS
supply (e.g. PC, some IP cameras, ...).

cable up to the distance of 1km. (1-channel receiver TWA-RX or 8-
