Warranty Informaon
The charger is warranted for 12 months by the manufacturer from the date of purchase
against faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty is void if the charger is damaged due to physical abuse or
overheang due to inadequate venlaon during charging.
Most important: Registering your buggy online will validate your warranty.

IMPORTANT
 The charger is designed for indoors only. Please ensure it is used on a non-
carpeted, non-ammable hard oor in a well venlated area.
 Do not aempt to use the charger if it has been dropped or damaged.
 Never aempt to charge a damaged baery , frozen baery or non-
rechargeable baery.
 Do not smoke, use an open ame or create sparks near your baery and charger
during charging operaon.
 Do not operate the charger if the cord or plug is damaged.
 Do not aempt to repair the charger if damaged.
 Ensure the baery is fully charged aer each use no maer how many holes are
played. For example, a 18 hole baery is designed to last 18 holes in 1 day ra-
ther than over the period of 2-3 consecuve days.
 Never aempt to fully discharge your baery. Your baery is designed to reduce
space before completely discharging. If your buggy cuts out repeatedly, please
take your buggy, baery and charger to your nearest MGI Service Agent.
 It is not recommended that you leave your baery o charge for longer than 3
months. If you are not playing golf for some me, fully charge your baery,
disconnect it and store it in a warm and dry environment. The baery will need
charging at least every 3 months and must be charged prior to use.
 Only use this charger with the correct MGI baery. The wrong charger on a
baery may cause it to burst and cause injury. This will also void the warranty of
both the baery and the charger.

 Prior to the rst and aer every use -charge the baery overnight. The baery
and charger come with an easy colour coded connecon system. See below;
MGI baery chargers have dierent connectors:
 The charger should be matched with its respecve baery by ensuring the same
coloured connector is on the baery. For example the 12v Li charger with the
Red and Black connector is to be connected to a 12v Li baery also with a Red
and Black connectors. For 12v Lithium connect Red to Red and Black to Black.
For 24v Lithium connect Blue to Red and Black to Black.
Do NOT connect unmatched baeries or chargers otherwise the warranty on each item
will be void.
 Plug the charger into a power point and aach the baery lead to the charger,
matching the connecons properly.
 Always recharge the baery as soon as possible aer use, no maer how short
the period of use. Your baery will charge best, lying at, in a warm and air
owing locaon.
Note: In winter, it is best charged o any concrete oor and preferably in a
warm locaon within the house.
 During play, minimise the drain on the baery by avoiding taking your buggy
into the rough whenever possible.
 Avoid as much as possible using the buggy to pull you up the hills
 In between use, always leave the charger connected to the baery with power
on.
 The baery is a sealed baery. If you are intending to take your buggy and
baery on air travel, we advise that you make contact with your airline prior to
travel.
 Be very careful not to drop your baery. The baery casing is easily cracked and
the baery’s subsequent life will be severely compromised. This is not covered
by warranty.

Charging Process
LED Indicator
 The charging indicator will accurately show the dierent state of the baery
during the charging process.
 The Green LED illuminates to indicate the charger is power on.
 The Red LED indicates the baery is charging.
 The LED will turn Green when the baery is fully charged and on oat charge.
 If the Green power indicator ashes constantly, this indicates that the charging
process has failed, there may be a problem with your charger or baery. In this
situaon you should contact the MGI service centre.
 If the LED indicator light does not turn Red when the power is connected, there
may be a problem with your charger. In this situaon you should also contact
the MGI service centre.
 The charger is connected to power and no LED light appears, contact the MGI
service centre.
Buggy Top Box Baery indicator
 New 2017 Lithium baeries may change the way the baery indicator works on
the top box of the buggy.
 If your baery indicator has two bars, then the indicator will not light up even
when fully charged.
 However aer a number of holes the indicator will appear at maximum capacity
and will operate as normal.
 Baeries must always be charged aer each round irrespecve of baery level
at the end of the round.
