Important Rules
1. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
3. The hair dryer may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardize
their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe use of the
product and understand the hazards involved. Never let children play with
the hair dryer.
4. If the product is to be used by any third party ensure that the instruction
manual always accompanies it.
5. The appliance should only be connected to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz power
supply.
6. The appliance is only intended for normal domestic use and only in the
manner described in this instruction manual.
7. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other type of liquid.
8. Never subject the appliance to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibration,
impacts, humidity or moisture.
9. Connect the hair dryer to the mains via an RCD with a tripping current of
max 30 mA. Check the RCD before each use.
10. Do not touch the mains lead with wet hands.
11. Keep in mind that the appliance is connected to the mains even when it
is switched o, as long as the mains plug is connected to a socket.
12. Do not carry the appliance by its mains lead.
13. Do not use the appliance if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in any way.
14. Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to open the casing and repair the
appliance yourself. All repairs must only be carried out by qualied service

15. Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to insert foreign objects into any of
the openings found in the casing.
16. Make sure that the mains lead does not come into contact with sharp
edges or hot surfaces and is not crushed or damaged in any other way.
17. Do not pull or tug the mains lead when unplugging the appliance, grip
and pull the plug itself.
18. Never wind the mains lead around the product.
19. Place the mains lead where there is no risk of people tripping over it.
20. When using extension leads, always ensure that they are suitable for use
with the product.
21. If the product is not to be used, it should be unplugged and stored in a
dry and dust-free location out of reach of children.
22. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged into an
electrical socket.
23. Risk of burns! Certain surfaces on the product become hot during use.
Use the appliance by the handle. Avoid any contact with your ears, eyes, face
and neck.
24. Never use accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer or
retailer.
25. The appliance is not intended for professional use. It is not intended for
outdoor use.
26. Let the appliance cool completely before putting it away for storage.
27. Always keep the appliance’s openings free from foreign objects.
28. The appliance should never be connected using an on/o timer or other
equipment which can automatically switch the appliance on.
29. Keep your hair away from air inlet during use.
30. Never use hairspray whilst the appliance is switched on.
31. Never cover the air inlet during use.
32. Never place the appliance on a soft, pliable surface such as a cushion or
quilt.
33. Do not use the appliance on wigs or hair extensions.
34. The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the appliance if
the mains lead or plug is damaged.
35. The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk
of electric shock or re and should only be carried out by the manufacturer,
authorized service facility or a qualied tradesman.

Burn hazard! The appliance becomes very hot during use.
Do not use the hair dryer near the bath, shower, sink or containers of water.

Care and maintenance
1. Regularly check that the air inlet is not clogged. Clean if necessary.
2. Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
3. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket and store the appliance in a
dry, dustfree environment and out of the reach of children whenever it is not
used for any extended period.

product once its working life has endedT take it to an au-
thorised waste agent for the selective collection of Waste
from Electric and Electronic Equipment ( WEEE ) .
