LOADING
FILM
Youshouldonly use DX-coded,
35mm film with
ISO ratingsfrom 25 to 3200. We recommend
ISO
4OO
or higherfor telephoto
photographs
or
pictures
taken in low light.
ll Turn the camera on and make sure O is
displayed in the data panel.
E Open the back cover by sliding the back-
cover release down and place the film car-
tridge into the film chamber, bottom first as
shown.

your film in the shade or away

SubjectProgramSelectionallows you to tailor
the camera's fully automatic operation to suit
the subject. lt provides
optimalcamerasettings
for close-ups,
portraits,portraits at night, pic-
tures of you taken by someone else with your
camera,
and back-litor spot-litsubjects.
Press the subject program selector until the
pointer isabove the icon of the subject you are
photographing.

return to Full-Auto automaticallyand the flash

Data lmprinting
Pressthe MODE button to select the desired

the datapanel
for approximatelytwo seconds

confirm
imprinting.
o The imprinteddata may be difficult
to read if
the subject areaover
which it is superimposed

Setting Data
Battery Replacement
The quartzdata back uses a 3V lithium battery
(CR122O)to
maintain
memory
while
thecamera
batteriesarebeingchanged. Replace
the quartz
dats back battery if the display
changes or be-
comes dim while the camera batteries
ore r€-
moved.
ll Open the camera back. Removethe screw
from the battery cover using a small Phillips
screwdriver.
pl Insertthe new battery (+ side up). Replace
the batterycover and attach with the screw.
After battery replacement,follow the instruc-
tions underSetting Data to reset
dayandtime.

button to move between dif-
