TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Misa commercial electric sauna stoves are cost-effective and durable. For more
efficient utilisation of the commercial electric sauna stove, please read these
instructions with care and comply with them.

SAFETY DISTANCES
- to combustible material 15 cm (non-combustible material 5 cm) behind the stove
- to combustible material on either side 15 cm (non-combustible material 5 cm)
- to combustible material in the front 15 cm (non-combustible material 5 cm)
- From the top edge of the stove to the ceiling 130 cm
The vertical safety distance between a guard made of combustible material and the
surface of the stove must be at least 30 cm. If fire protective boards are used, the
minimum distance of the guard from the stove surface is 12 cm.
INSTALLATION
NOTE! Before stove installation, brush some CU copper paste to the threads of the
heating elements and the threads of the nuts (use paste, not spray!). For
instructions, see page 6. For the warranty of the stove to be valid, the first
maintenance upon stove installation must be carried out.
PLACEMENT OF THE STOVE IN THE SAUNA
The stove may not be installed in a floor recess and a closed protective cover may
not be assembled around the stove. When positioning the stove, consider the
safety distances to combustible materials. For the distances, see the nameplate of
the stove and the section “Safety distances” above. The instructions apply to all of
our commercial electric sauna stoves. The stove must be installed as upright as
possible. If necessary, a stove base with adjustable legs is available.
SAUNA VENTILATION
1. Supply air to the sauna is directed on top of the stove. 2. The supply air mixes
with the hot air rising from the stove, is very rich in oxygen and good for the sauna
user. 3. Hot and humid air spreads throughout the sauna. 4. Exhaust takes place
through floor valves while enjoying the sauna. The height from the floor is approx.
15 cm. 5. At the ceiling limit (above the benches), there should be exhaust valves
for hot air removal and drying the sauna after the sauna sessions.

CONNECTION TO POWER SUPPLY
Connection works may only be performed by an authorised skilled electrician, in
compliance with valid regulations. For the connection of the stove, only rubber
cables of the type H07RN-F or equivalent must be used. The use of PVC-insulated
cables is prohibited.
At the factory, the sauna stoves have been configured for 400V 3N~ voltage. The
voltage of the heating elements is 230V. Internal connection Y. The sauna stove
must be properly grounded using its grounding terminals.
SILICONE CABLES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR COMMERCIAL ELECTRIC
SAUNA STOVE CONNECTIONS IN SAUNA ROOMS.
POSITIONING OF THE CONTROL CENTRE, TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS AND
SENSORS
The control centre, temperature controller and sensors are installed according to
the manual of the Logi Control Centre.
OPERATION
These commercial electric sauna stoves are controlled by a separate control centre.
Follow the manual of the control centre when using the sauna stove.
SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
Misa commercial electric sauna stoves must undergo semi-annual maintenance
once in 6 months in accordance with the instructions. If the annual maintenance is
neglected, the sauna stove’s warranty expires.

WARRANTY
For the warranty of the commercial electric sauna stoves to be valid, the stoves
must have undergone the first installation-related maintenance and regular
maintenance every six months.
In commercial electric sauna stoves:
- Kerkes stove stones need to be used
- only fresh water may be thrown on the stones
- the stove or its surroundings may not be washed with pressure washer
- the Misa ERM control centre must be used to control the stove
The seller/manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper installation at
the site or by failure to follow the installation instructions.
In such cases, the company/installer that performed the installation is liable for
damages. IN ANY WARRANTY REPAIR CASES, THE SELLER WILL ONLY
COMPENSATE FOR SPARE PARTS, NOT INSTALLATION WORKS.
SAUNA STOVE STONES
Note! The commercial sauna stove must be pre-heated before the loading of the
stones. This way, any protective grease will burn away from the stove and heating
elements, and unpleasant odours will not stick to the stones.
First, load the round stove stones into both stone troughs, up to the “dorsal fin” of
the stove. Next, place the “tetra” stones on top of the round ones. Only one layer of
“tetra” stones should be laid on top of the round stones, so that the “dorsal fin” is no
longer visible.
Kerkes stove stones need not be washed before first use. We recommend
removing Kerkes stones from the stove and reloading them twice a year. Kerkes
stones can be treated with acid once a year to avoid lime deposits on the stones.
Good air circulation in the stone compartment is essential for efficient heating of the
sauna air and for the service life of heating elements.
WARNING
Using an insufficiently loaded stone compartment creates a fire hazard. An
insufficiently loaded stone compartment is not the same as a loosely loaded stone
compartment. Failure to comply with the specified minimum distances or other
installation requirements can cause a fire hazard. The sauna stove may not be
covered. Never hang combustible objects, such as towels, above the sauna stove
or in its vicinity, even after using the sauna. These will cause a fire hazard if the
sauna stove is switched on without inspecting the sauna first. Covering, short-
circuiting or otherwise restricting the functionality of the thermostat and temperature
limiter is prohibited, as this would create a fire hazard. If these components do not
work normally, the cause of the malfunctions must be identified and fixed before
using the sauna stove.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST INSTALLATION/SEMI-ANNUAL
MAINTENANCE
- Make sure the power supply to the sauna stove has been disconnected from the junction box!
- If necessary, remove the stones from the stove’s stone compartment.
- Lift the empty stove up so that the cable connector box is facing up.
- (In case of semi-annual maintenance, remove the Kerkes stove stones from the stove.)
- Open the sauna stove’s base plate (Photo 1)
- Brush CU-800 copper paste on the threads and mounting nuts, washers and wiring
connections at the ends of each heating element (Photo 2).
- Check the tightness of M4 coupling nuts.
- Reinstall the sauna stove base plate.
WHEN REPLACING HEATING ELEMENTS, THE INSTALLER MUST
APPLY CU-800 COPPER PASTE TO THE THREADS OF THE
ELEMENTS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

STONE QUANTITIES PER SAUNA STOVE ARE APPROXIMATE. THE

KERKES SAUNA STOVE STONE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Wash Kerkes sauna stove stones if the stones have become grey due to
calcareous water.

NOTE! Kerkes sauna stove stones should always be dry before heating
the sauna stove. We recommend keeping the heating elements on for
approx. 15 minutes after the last sauna session. This significantly extends
the service life of the stones.
IF THE SAUNA STOVE IS COLD, KEEP WATER AWAY FROM THE
STONES!
