Pipe Grip Tie to
Mount Plate Assembly
For this step, you will need the
mount plate assembly and the
pipe grip e. Connect the 2-⅜"
pipe grip e to the mount plate
assembly using two sets of
⅜" bolts and lock nuts. The bolt
head should be on the exterior
of the mount plate. Hand
ghten only.
Solar Mount End Bracket
to Mount Plate Assembly
Connect each of the solar mount
end brackets to the mount plate
using the ⅜" bolts and lock nuts,
as illustrated above.
Support Arm to Brace Band Assembly
Connect the two support arms to the
2-⅜" brace band using one set of
⅜" bolts and lock nuts. One arm will be
assembled inside the brace band and
one arm will be aached on the outside
as shown in the illustraon above.
Slide the assembled brace band and
support arms onto the pole. Mount the
assembled mount plate on the top of the
pole and ghten using a screwdriver.

*YouTube video shows locking washers. These
are no longer included in the kit as they have
been replaced with lock nuts.

Rail Installaon
Install one set of bolts to the holes in each hole located in the
mount plate brackets at the top and boom of the assembly.
The bolt heads should face the outside of the assembly. Slide the
channel of the solar panel rails over the bolt heads, center each
rail, and ghten into place. The UniRac SolarMount rail should
slide over the bolts as shown above.
End Clamp and Mid Clamp Assembly
Assemble each bolt through the
UniRac SolarMount end clamps and
mid clamps. Slide, in this order, an
end clamp, mid clamp, and second
end clamp into the channel of each
rail. Install the solar panel onto the
rail by ghtening the end clamps
and mid clamps over the edge of
each solar panel. Saw ends of bolt o
ush with lock nut to reduce sideways
shading on solar panel.
Final Adjustments
Your solar panel will get the best producon facing the south, adjust your solar panels accordingly. Tighten down
all bolts using a ⅜" wrench.
Adjust the brace band assembly and
support arms to mount into each side of
the boom UniRac rail. Tighten each
support arm bolt. Tighten the brace band
bolt. The assembled pieces should now
look like the image directly above.
