Pole and Rail Installaon
Posion two 2" poles so that your panels will face directly south and install the poles in the ground approximately
5 . apart. Bury them unl about 2 . deep making sure they are level. Install a splice bar to join two rails
together (Fig. 1). The screws are self-drilling and will create their own hole as you screw them in. Repeat for
the other two rails. Insert six ⅜" bolts into the lower solar rail channel. Slide two of them close to the splice bar
temporarily to be used for the support arms. Posion the four outer ones to t the solar mount end bracket
holes. Posion the rail against the solar mount end brackets sliding rail and bolts into holes. Place the ⅜" nuts on
to the bolts and ghten down (Fig. 2). Repeat for both solar rail sets. Using the ⅜" bolts and nuts, aach the four
support arms (Fig. 2 and 3). Adjusng the lower support arms brace band hight on the poles will lt the whole
rail assembly at for ease of installing the solar panels. Make sure to ghten down all bolts aer you install solar
panels and make your lt angle adjustment.
Final Adjustments
Your solar panels will get the best producon when facing south, adjust your solar panels accordingly. You can
adjust the lt for beer performance in summer/winter (angle shown in Fig. 2 is typically good year round).Make
