Beachten Sie auch die Sicherungen der Stativbeine.
5. Stativ für den Einsatz vorbereiten
■Stellen Sie das zusammengelegte Stativ wie gezeigt auf. Öffnen Sie
die Schraube [J] des Stativsterns. Klappen Sie vorsichtig die einzelnen
Beine herunter und achten sie darauf, dass die Sicherungen auch auch
einrasten. Fixieren Sie nun die Schraube des Stativsterns wieder.
Arretieren Sie die Bremsen [Q] der Rollen stets, wenn Sie das Stativ
nicht bewegen.
■Das Stativ verfügt über einen Auszug. Um die Höhe zu verstellen,
öffnen Sie den Stativverschluss [K]. Bringen Sie den Auszug auf die
gewünschte Höhe und arretieren Sie den Stativverschluss [K] wieder.

5.2 Ausleger
■Der Ausleger besteht aus drei Teilen, die mithilfe von zwei Zapfen
verschraubt werden. Das vordere Ende verfügt über eine Halterung
für Endgeräte mit 5/8“ Spigot. Der Befestigungsadapter lässt sich
auch seitlich einbauen. So können Endgeräte auf vielerlei Weise
angesetzt werden.
■Das hintere Ende des Auslegers verfügt über eine Halterung für die
Gegengewichte. Die Gegengewichte liegen in Form von Sandsäcken
bei, die mithilfe ihrer drei Ösen rutschsicher auf die Halterung gesetzt
werden. Ebenfalls kann die Gegengewicht-Halterung mit Hilfe der
Rändelschrauben [R] versetzt werden, um den Ausleger im Einsatz
auszutarieren.
■Das mittlere Stück des Auslegers ist optional. Wird es weggelassen,
wird der Ausleger entsprechend kürzer.
■Die Halterung für den Ausleger umfasst den Ausleger und hält ihn
fest. Er ist innerhalb der Halterung verschiebbar. Daher gibt es zwei
Methoden, ihn zu montieren:
5.2.1. Ausleger zusammensetzen, Methode 1:
■Führen Sie das mittlere Teil des Auslegers [E] durch die Halterung für
den Ausleger [B]. Schrauben Sie die Halterung soweit fest, dass sie
nicht verrutschen kann.
■Führen Sie einen der Verbinder [C] in das mittlere Teil des Auslegers
ein und verschrauben Sie es dort mithilfe der vorhandenen Schrau-
ben und des beiliegenden Innensechskantschlüssels. Wiederholen
Sie dies mit dem zweiten Verbinder auf der anderen Seite des
mittleren Teils des Auslegers.
■Nun schrauben Sie auf dieselbe Weise die beiden Endstücke auf die
Verbinder. Achten Sie darauf, die Schrauben auch wirklich fest zu
ziehen.
■Setzen sie nun den Ausleger mit seiner Halterung [B] auf das Stativ
und ziehen Sie den Halteverschluss [L] fest an.
5.2.2. Ausleger zusammensetzen, Methode 2:
■Setzen Sie Halterung für den Ausleger [B] auf das Stativ und ziehen
Sie den Halteverschluss [L] fest an. Setzen Sie nun den Ausleger
zusammen, wie in Methode 1 (5.2.1) beschrieben, jedoch ohne ihn
schon beim Aufbau in die Halterung [B] zu setzen.
■Wenn Sie den fertigen Ausleger zusammengesetzt haben, entfernen
Sie die Schraube der Halterung für Endgeräte vom vorderen Teil des
Auslegers. Führen Sie diesen nun durch die Halterung für den Aus-
leger [B] und ziehen Sie diesen fest. Setzen Sie nun die Schraube
für die Halterung für Endgeräte wieder auf den Ausleger, ziehen Sie
auch diese fest.
■Achten Sie hierbei auf die korrekte Positionierung des Befestigungs-
adapters (Spigot, Zapfen). Die Schraube muss am dünneren Teil des
Befestigungsadapters festgeschraubt werden. Hierdurch wird ein
Lösen der Halterung inkl. Ihres Equipments zuverlässig verhindert.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Zur Inbetriebnahme des Auslegestativs arretieren Sie zunächst die Rollen.
Dann bringen Sie den Ausleger in eine Position, in der Sie alle Bereiche
gut erreichen können und sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Halterung für den
Ausleger diesen in etwa in der Mitte umgreift, tendenziell aber näher am
Ende für das Gegengewicht.
Arretieren Sie den Einstellwinkel mit dem Klemmhebel [M]. Legen Sie
die Sandsäcke bereit, sowie das Equipment, das Sie vorne am Ausleger
befestigen möchten, sowie alle notwendigen Kabel.

Sobald der Ausleger in Balance ist oder nur wenig Übergewicht zu einer
Seite aufweist, können Sie ihn wie gewünscht positionieren und xieren,
indem Sie den Klemmhebel zuziehen.
Die Kabelhalter helfen Ihnen, Kabel für das verbaute Equipment am Ausle-
ger entlang zu führen. Zur Benutzung nehmen Sie das Kabel des verbau-
ten Equipments, z.B. ein Studioblitz oder eine Leuchte mit Dauerlicht, und
legen dieses durch die U-förmige Aussparung des Kabelhalters.
Dann schnappen Sie den Kabelhalter samt Kabel an den Ausleger. Wie-
derholen Sie dies, bis das Kabel nicht mehr im Bild ist. Es empehlt sich,
das Kabel am Rollstativ entlang nach unten zu führen.
7. Versetzen des Rollstativs
Sie können das Rollstativ versetzen, indem Sie die Bremsen der Rollen
lösen und es an seinen neuen Standort schieben. Dort müssen Sie die
Bremsen unbedingt wieder anziehen. Kontrollieren Sie in Folge den festen
Sitz aller Feststellschrauben und des Klemmhebels.
WARNUNG
Versetzen Sie das Stativ bevorzugt ohne montiertes Equipment und Ge-
gengewicht. Unterbrechen Sie die Stromversorgung für alles verbaute
Equipment. Sollten Sie es dennoch mit verbautem Equipment versetzen
wollen, ziehen Sie eine zweite Person hinzu und achten Sie sowohl auf
Hindernisse am Boden als auch an der Decke. Gehen Sie vorsichtig
vor, denn bei großen Gewichten seitlich des Schwerpunktes können
Hebelkräfte schnell und stark wirken. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr!
HINWEIS
Sie können die Sandsäcke mit Sand füllen, mit Wasseraschen oder
auch mit anderen Gewichten. Bei Sand empehlt es sich, diesen in
Gefrierbeutel zu geben, damit er z.B. bei Außeneinsätzen nicht nass
werden kann. Das Gegengewicht sollte insgesamt stets deutlich schwe-
rer sein als das auszubalancierende Equipment.
Hängen Sie als erstes einen Sandsack (oder beide, je nach Notwendig-
keit) am hinteren Ende des Auslegers an den Halter für Gegengewichte.
Achten Sie darauf, alle Ösen über die dort vorhandenen Halter, darunter
die zwei Rändelschrauben [R], zu setzen.
Auf dem Ausleger ist Platz für zwei Sandsäcke. Achten Sie darauf, dass
die Rändelschrauben [R] festgezogen sind und die Halterung nicht verrut-
schen kann.
Montieren Sie nun das gewünschte Equipment vorne am Stativ. Achten
Sie auf einen festen Halt und dass Ihre Feststellschraube den Zapfen am
schlankeren Stück greift. So wird ein eventuelles Abrutschen verhindert.
Halten Sie nun den Ausleger mit einer Hand sicher fest und lösen Sie den
Klemmhebel [M]. Fühlen Sie, ob der Ausleger in Balance ist.
Wenn nicht, erreichen Sie dies durch folgende Maßnahmen, die auch
kombiniert werden können:
■Gewicht auf dem Ausleger versetzen
■Halterung für Gewichte versetzen
■Weniger oder mehr Gewicht auf den Ausleger hängen
(Belastbarkeit beachten! Siehe Technische Daten)
■Ausleger in der Halterung [B] verschieben

HINWEIS
Das Rollstativ eignet sich nicht für das Bewegen einer Lichtquelle oder
zum Beispiel einer Kamera während der Aufnahme.
8.BenutzungshinweiseundPege
■Beachten Sie, dass Lampenstative auf einem ausreichend belastbaren,
ebenen Untergrund aufgestellt werden müssen, um eine maximale
Stabilität und Traglast zu gewährleisten.
■Beachten Sie die Hinweise bzgl. der maximalen Belastbarkeit Ihres
Stativmodells (siehe Technische Daten).
■Beachten Sie, dass Feuchtigkeit an den Mittelsäulenelementen des Sta-
tivs die Haltekraft deutlich reduziert und die Mittelsäulensegmente bei
Belastung dementsprechend nach unten sinken können. Trocknen Sie
daher ggf. die Mittelsäulenelemente mit einem weichen, saugfähigen
Tuch (z.B. aus Baumwolle).
■Generell sind alle Elemente dieses Lampenstatives wartungsfrei.
Allerdings ist das regelmäßige Entfernen von Sand, Staub und ande-
ren Verunreinigungen zu empfehlen. Wenn Sie ein kratzendes oder
knirschendes Geräusch beim Bewegen der Mittelsäulensegmente
feststellen, entfernen Sie bitte mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten Tuch
die Verunreinigungen.
■Achten Sie beim Verstellen der Mittelsäule mit montiertem Equipment
zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit und zum Schutz des verbauten Equipments
darauf, dass Sie während des Lösens der Verschlüsse gleichzeitig das
Mittelsegment mit einer Hand festhalten, bevor Sie die Stativverschlüs-
se lockern.
■Beachten Sie bei der Befestigung von Equipment per 1/4 oder 3/8 Zoll
Gewinde, dass diese über eine geringere Belastbarkeit verfügen als
der 16 mm Zapfen (5/8 Zoll Spigot) Anschluss. Für die Befestigung von
schwerem Equipment ist eine entsprechend hochwertige Halterung
notwendig.
■Bewegen Sie ein bestücktes Stativ nicht oder nur sehr vorsichtig.

5.2 Assembly boom
■The boom consists of three parts, which are connected by means of
two spigots. The front end features a xture for devices with 5/8“ spi-
got. The mounting adapter can also be installed laterally. This allows
devices to be attached in many different ways.
■The rear end of the boom is equipped with a holder for the counter-
weights. The counterweights are enclosed in the form of sandbags,
which are placed on the bracket with the help of their three eyelets
to prevent slipping. The counterweight holder can also be moved by
means of the knurled screws [R] to balance the boom for use.
■The middle part of the boom is optional. If it is omitted, the boom
becomes correspondingly shorter.
■ The bracket for the boom encloses the boom and holds it rmly. The
boom can be moved within the bracket. Therefore, there are two
ways to mount it:
5.2.1. Assembling the Boom, Method 1:
■Put the middle part of the boom [E] through the boom bracket [B].
Screw the bracket lock tight enough to prevent it from slipping.
■Insert one of the connectors [C] into the middle part of the boom
and screw it tight using the provided screws and the hexagon socket
wrench. Repeat this with the second connector on the other side of
the middle part of the boom.
■Now screw the two end pieces onto the connectors in the same way.
Make sure that you really tighten the screws.
■Now place the boom with its bracket [B] on the tripod and tighten the
Boom Lock [L].
5.2.2. Assembling the Boom, Method 2:
■Place the bracket [B] on the tripod and tighten the lock [L]. Now
assemble the boom as described in method 1 (5.2.1), but without
placing it in the bracket [B] during assembly.
■When you have assembled the boom, remove the screw of the
bracket for end devices [P] from the front part of the boom. Guide the
boom through the bracket for the boom [B] and tighten it. Replace
the screw for the bracket for end devices on the arm and tighten it
as well.
■Mind the correct positioning of the adapter spigot. The screw must
be tightened on the slimmer part of the mounting adapter. This will
reliably prevent detachment of the bracket including your equipment.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and crushing. Proceed with caution. Also observe the safety
devices for the stand legs.
5. Assembling the stand:
■Set up the folded stand as shown. Open the locking screw [J] of the
stand star. Carefully fold down the individual legs and make sure that
the locking devices also engage. Now tighten the screw [J] of the stand
star again. Lock the brakes on the castors as soon as the legs are
unfolded and locked.
■The stand features one riser. To adjust the height, open the stand lock
[K]. Adjust the riser to the desired height and lock the stand lock [K]
again.

First hang a sandbag (or both, if necessary) at the rear end of the boom
on the counterweight holder. Make sure that all the eyelets are placed over
the pins provided there, including the two knurled screws [R]. There is
space for two sandbags on the boom. Make sure that the knurled screws
[R] are tightened and that the holder cannot slip.
Now mount the desired equipment on the front of the boom. Make sure
that it is rmly held and that your locking screw holds the spigot on the
slimmer part. This will prevent the equipment from slipping off.
Now hold the boom securely with one hand and loosen the clamping
lever [N]. Feel if the boom is in balance. If not, you can achieve this by the
following measures, which can also be combined:
■Moving the weight on the boom
■Moving the boom-holder for weights
■Hang less or more weight on the boom
(note load capacity! See technical data)
■Moving the boom in the holder [B]
As soon as the boom is in balance or only slightly overweight to one side,
you can position and x it as desired by tightening the clamping lever.
The cable holders help you to guide cables for the installed equipment
along the boom. To use them, take the cable of the installed equipment,
e.g. a studio ash or a continuous light, and put it through the U-shaped
recess of the cable holder.
6. Using the stand
When using the boom stand, rst lock the rollers.
Then move the boom into a position where you can easily reach all areas
and make sure that the bracket for the boom is roughly in the middle, but
tends to be closer to the end for the counterweight. Lock the adjustment
angle with the clamping lever [M]. Get the sandbags ready, the equipment
you want to attach to the front of the boom and all necessary cables.
NOTE
You can ll the sandbags with sand, with water bottles or with other
weights. If sand is used, it is advisable to put it in freezer bags rst
so that it cannot get wet, e.g. during outdoor use. The counterweight
should always be considerably heavier than the equipment to be balan-
ced.

8. Further Instructions for Use and Care
■ Note that lamp stands must be placed on a sufciently strong, level
surface to ensure maximum stability and load capacity.
■Follow the instructions regarding the maximum load capacity of your
stand model (see Technical Data)
■Please note that moisture on the center column elements of the stand
signicantly reduces the holding force and the center column segment
can sink downwards under load accordingly. If necessary, therefore, dry
the center column elements with a soft, absorbent cloth (e.g. made of
cotton).
■In general, all elements of this lamp tripod are maintenance-free. Howe-
ver, regular removal of sand, dust and other impurities is recommended.
If you notice a scratching or crunching noise when moving the center
column segments, please remove the impurities with a soft, damp cloth.
■When adjusting the center column with mounted equipment, for your
own safety and for the protection of the mounted equipment, be sure to
simultaneously hold the corresponding center segment tight with one
hand when loosening the locks.
■When attaching equipment using 1/4 or 3/8 inch threads, please note
that these have a lower load capacity than the 16 mm spigot (5/8 inch
spigot) connection. For the attachment of heavy equipment, a corres-
pondingly high-quality mount is required.
Then snap the cable holder together with the cable onto the bracket.
Repeat this until the cable is out of the picture. It is recommended to run
the cable down along the rolling stand.
7. Moving the rolling stand
You can move the rolling stand by releasing the brakes on the rollers and
pushing it to its new location. It is essential that you retighten the brakes
there. Check that all locking screws and the clamping lever are tight.
WARNING
Move the stand preferably without mounted equipment and counterweight.
Disconnect the power supply for all installed equipment. If you still want to
move the stand with the equipment installed, call in a second person and
watch out for obstacles on the oor and ceiling. Proceed with caution, as
lever forces can act quickly and strongly with large weights to the side of
the centre of gravity. There is a risk of injury!
NOTE
The rolling stand is not suitable for moving a light source or, for
example, a camera during shooting.
