6WIRING DIAGRAM
NOTES :
1. Sin e the indoor transformer (T)is onne ted with 240Vpower. If 220, 230v power is used. hange the wiring onne tion showing fig: W2
When power supply is
2. Sin e the outdoor side ele tri wiring may hange be sure to he k the outdoor unit ele tri wiring for servi ing.
3. Indoor and outdoor onne ting wires are made with polarities. make wiring mat hing terminal numbers.
4. Symbols used in wiring diagram above are. / : Terminal blo k, : Conne tor.
5. Emergen y operation
If remote ontroller or mi ro omputer fails but there is no other truble,. emergen y operation is possible by setting dip swit h (SW3<I.B>) on the indoor on-
troller board.
[Che k items]
(1)Make sure that no other trouble exists the outdoor unit. Trouble with the outdoor unit prevents emergen y operation.
(If any trouble exists the outdoor unit error ode “P8”will be displayed on the remote ontroller and the trouble position will be shown on the outdoor ontroller
board LED. See ele tri wiring diagram of the outdoor unit for details.)
(2)Make sure that there is no trouble with the indoor fan.
Emergen y operation will be ontinuous run with the power ON/OFF (ON/OFF with the remote ontroller is not possible).
[Emergen y operation pro edure]
(1)Swit h the fan onne tor on the indoor ontroller board from FAN 1 to FAN 2.
(2)Set the dip swit h (SW3<I.B>) on the indoor ontroller board to 1on and 2off for ooling and 1- 2on for heating.
(3)Turn on the outdoor unit side ir uit breaker, then the indoor unit side ir uit breaker.
(4)During emergen y operation indoor fan runs at High speed but auto-vane does not work.
(5)Thermostat will not fun tion. Cold air blows out for defrosting during heating thus do not operate defrosting for a long time.
(6)Emergen y ooling should be limited to 10 hours maximum. (the indoor unit heat ex hanger may freeze).
(7)After every operation, swit h the fan onne tor to FAN1, and set all dip swit hes (SW3<I.B>) to OFF.
NOTE: If the drain water lift up me hanism is identified to be defe tive with the mi ro omputer do tor during ooling, do not use emergen y operation
(it auses drain overflow)
