MMC-1105 Quick Guide
MMC-1105 isamicrodigitalwireless camera,whichisdigitaltotallyfromlenstoRFoutput
circuit. Forrealtimewireless monitoruse,itsresolution can beHDTV1280 1024;its
definition is3-10 timesastheequipmentsofformermicrowaves(CCDwireless camera,
the theoreticresolution is720*576or760*480)and COFDM.Ifuseitforlowaltitude
aerialphotography, youcan see clearlythebrand nameofthe cigaretteboxon theground
don'tneedchangethe lensfocus..Forbookphotographing orevidencetaking,atone
timeitcan photographclearlyall the wordson 2-3A4-sized papers.The above-mentioned
performanceofMMC-1105 isbeyond the normalPAL/NTSCvideographyequipmentcan
do, includingsomeofthe equipmentsforbroadcast use.
Takingadvantageofthemostupdate2.4GHzBroadWideTM RFblind-area compensable
technology,theadvancedtechnologyMM-1105 takeshasverygood performancein
signaltransmission.It canattainverylongtransmission distancewithverysmall
transmission power.Takebasicspecification ofMMC-1105 asan example,the
transmission powerofitisonly50mW,butitsreferencetransmission distancecan be
morethan 5KMandMMC-1105Sis15KM.Comparably,tomeettheabovementioned
longtransmission distance15KM,thestandard8M-bandwidthCODFMormicrowave
equipmentsmust need veryhightransmission powerofabove1000mW.
Additionally, MM-1105 hasinterfacesofvoiceinput and output, datalinkanditisbuilt ina

AcompletesetofMMC-1105 systemconsistsofawireless camerahostmachine,
MMC-1105-Centerand alaptopcomputer(the laptopisprepared byyourself,the video
memoryofwhichmustbemorethan 256M).The process ofdatatransmission is:from
host machine wirelesslytransmit toMMC-1105-Center, and thenwirelesslytransmit tothe
laptop.Fromthe above,wecan see the three partscan beseparated indifferentplaces.
And theuserdoesn’tneedtostaywithMMC-1105-Center;itcan beindependentlyputin
highplace.
Switchon the powerofhostmachine and MMC-1105-Center,throughthe laptopwecan
see awireless networkofMMC-1105-Center,whichisan SSIDcalling signfrom
MMC-1105-Center.
Afterswitchingon the hostmachine,therewillbefollowed byaself-testforabout30
seconds.When thered lightofthe indicatorturnsintogreen,itstill needabove45
secondsforthe host machine tocommunicatewithMMC-1105-Center.
Tousethissystem,youshouldfirstsettheIPofWIRELESS NETWORKCONNECTas
192.168.0.X, the Xmust beamong0-255, but it cannot be20.

ForXPsystem, the settingprocess isasfollows:
Click START—CONROLPANNEL—NETWORKCONNECT, inthe pop-upwindow
right-click PROPERTYinWIRELESS NETWORKCONNECT, click INTERNET
AGREEMENT(TCP/IP), choosePROPERTY, inthe followingnewwindowclick USE THE
FOLLOWING IPADDRESS, and then fill in192.168.0.Xinthe blankIPAddress (I), and
then click subnet mask, the computerwill automaticallyenterthe default 255.255.255.0,
just press ENTERtoconfirmit.
NOTE: Inthe above-mentioned case, the computercannot connect INTERNETthrough
wireless connection.
Open IEinthecomputer,fill in http://192.168.0.20/ and press ENTER,thescreenwill pop
upawindowofMMC-1105,forthe usertoenterthe accountand passwords.The
manufacturerdefault account numberisadmin, the passwordsareblank.
Afterenterexactaccountand passwords,wewill see the monitorvideo and operation
administration pageofMMC-1105.
NOTE:Ifitisthe firsttimeforthe computertoconnectwithMMC-1105,someoperating
systemmaybeneedtoinstall ActiveXcontrol, otherwisethe userwill onlyseethetoolbar,
and cannotsee thepictures.IfIEpreventsinstalling ActiveXcontrol,the usercan
temporarilychangethesetofIE:click TOOLonIEmenu,chooseINTERNET,select
USERDEFINEDinSECURITY,find DOWNLOADNON-SIGNITUREDACTIVEX
CONTROL,changeFORBIDDEN(recommend)intoSTATRTorHINT,then press ENTER,
closeIEand then restart IE.

Thewholevideo imagepagecan beunlimitedlyzoominandoutbytherightandleft
buttonsof the mouse.It isdigitalzoom. When the screen istoo small,it ismainlyused to
viewthe detailsofpicture.
Atthe bottumofthe video image,therearemanyfunctionalbuttons,when the mouse
hoversoverthe button, therewill appearthe function introduction ofthe button.
These4iconsarethe presetindexesofpicturedefinition and video smoothness.Among
them,icon 1meansthe highestdefaultdefinition thatis,1280 102410frame/second,
whichhasreachedthestandardofhighdefinition HDTV,andhasgreatlysurpassedthe
highestresolution ofnormalcomputerscreen and video OVH.Therefore,itsdataflowis
reallyhuge,ifthe hardwareconfiguration ofthe computercan notmeetitsrequirement,
the video imageon the computerscreen will benot sosmooth.
2-4iconsrepresentlowerresolution,whichcanensuresmoothvideo imageinpoor
condition oftransmission.Amongthem,icon 2representsthe resolutionof640 480,
whichissameasthe highestresolutionofcommon PAL/NTSCequipments.2-4iconsalso
can beused forhigh-resolution photographforsmall screen monitor,forexample,tosave

the memoryspaceof theharddisk,youcanusetheseiconsforsuperlongtimeback-up
monitor.
Thisicon meanswholescreen viewforthe monitoringpicture.Returntonormalproportion
ofmonitoringpicturebypressing Esc button.

TheTipsofBasicSetting inGround Working Environment
The workingenvironmentbetween ground and airisverydifferent. ThoughMMC-1105
takesadvantageofthe mostupdate2.4GHzBroadWideTM RFblind-area compensable
technology,when therearebarriers,itssignalsstill will bedeclined tosomeextent.The
keytocontrolthedecline withintheacceptablerangeistoselectaproperposition to
install MMC-1105 center(mainlyforitsantenna),whichdeterminesthe resultofthe
systeminground environment.
Manypeoplemaybehavenoticed that, usuallythereisonlyone mobilephone base
centerinsmall citiesortowns,butitscoverageisreallybroad.Why?Becausethe base
centeralwayslocatesatthe topof the hill orhighbuilding, whereisveryhighand hasno
barriersaround, it isan idealplaceforwireless transmission.
The aboveprinciplealsocan applyforthe ground position ofMMC-1105 center.If
MMC-1105 centerand itsantennaisplaced indoorsatrandom,the basic50mW
MMC-1105 onlycan transmit throughless than 3floorsinreinforced concretebuilding.

Forpersonaluse,limited bythecondition and environment, itisverydifficultorcosttoo
muchforaperson togetthebestposition toplaceMMC-1105 center.Buttogetbetter
result, theuserstill needstofind abetterposition toinstall MMC-1105 center(mainlyfor
itsantenna).
1.Thetypicalmethod istotakefiberglass omniantenna forMMC-1105 center,andput
the antenna inthe open andwide balcony.And thenthe centercan directlylinkwith
MMC-1105 hostmachine.Thismethod usuallycan coverhalfofthecommon
residencecommunity.When therearebarriers,itsreferenceworkingradiuscan be
200-500 meters.
2.IfMMC-1105 host machine and the monitorcomputerareinsamereinforced concrete
building,you can placeMMC-1105 centerinfarawayanotherbuilding,where
MMC-1105 hostmachine andthemonitorcomputercan seeit. Ifthe computertests
the signalisnotstrong,youcan useexternalwirelessLANcardtocommunicatewith
MMC-1105 center.Becausethe signalreceivingsensitivityofthe externalwireless
LANcardisabove10 timesasthe built-inwireless LANcard.
The aboveoperationscan ensuregood connection forthe datalinkbetween
MMC-1105 hostmachine and MMC-1105-center,and the linkbetween
MC-1105-centerand the monitorcomputer.
3.MMC-1105 hostmachine hasan optional19cm6dBgainantenna.Ifpossible,itcan
replacethe standardshort 2dBantenna, and the effect can beimproved 30-50%.
4.Youalsocan considerbuying5000mWMMC-1105SsystemorMMC-1105Wsystem
withIntelligent-Olfaction-Detection,whichcan takethe publicwireless networks and
3G networks asitstransmission channels.
