BEFORE USE
Before use, please read this manual carefully.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical
appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
avoid res, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read
these operating and safety instructions carefully.

18. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any
reason whatsoever.
19. Never place it into the dishwasher.
20. Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
21. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly Competent qualied
person(*) in order to avoid a hazard.
22. Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of
cleaning of maintenance and accessories assembly.
23. Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
24. Never use accessories, which are not recommended by the
producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to
damage the appliance.
25. Never use any other connector than the one provided.
26. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way.
27. Never wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it

parts of this unit.
29. Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and
storing it.
30. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be very high when the

36. When using an extension lead always make sure that the entire
cable is unwound from the reel. Use solely CE approved extension
leads. Input power must be at least 16A, 250V, 3000W.
37. Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance
and cause injury to the user.

SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS
1. Stand the appliance on a table or at surface.
2. Do not use or keep this product outside when it is raining.
3. Do not store the appliance near hot ovens or heating appliances.
4. Certain parts of the appliance can get hot. Do not touch them, as
you may burn yourself.
5. Never modify the appliance in anyway.
6. Use only cold water when lling the device.
7. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. mark.
8. Switch the kettle off before removing it from the base.
9. Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
10. The base and exterior of the kettle must not become wet.
11. Kettle body used must be match with the kettle base.

USE OF THE MACHINE
Before using the machine for the rst time: Rinse the inside kettle.
Remove possible manufacturing process residues by boiling 3 full kettles
of water. Dispose this water.
1. Fill half of the tank of fresh water. (without addendum of any
product).
2. Put the switch on “ ON “position The light goes on, showing that
water begins heating up.
3. When boiling, the apparatus goes out automatically
4. Raise the kettle with circumspection and empty water in a sink by
watching out not to splash (risk of scald).
5. The apparatus is ready to be used.
USING
1. Put the electric charger base on a at surface.
2. Fill the kettle with fresh water (without any additives.).
note : Do not overll ! Use the water level indicator.

3. Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230V~ 50Hz
safety socket.
( check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same
as that of the machine. Details can be found on the label on the base )
1. switch the machine to position “1”. The illuminated light on the kettle
indicates that the water is heating.
2. When boiling the machine switches off automatically.
3.Take the kettle and carefully pour into the glass or mug
Note : Take care to ovoid any burn.
Do not press up the lid when pouring.
Overheating safeguard
The jug kettle is tted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off
the jug kettle if it is operated without (sufcient) water. Let the kettle cool
down for 10 minutes at least.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning switch off the appliance, Always disconnect the device
and to let it cool before cleaning.
2. Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen.
Never put the kettle or base in the dishwasher.
3. Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid!
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting
object.
NOTE: Do not use sharp objects such as hard bushes to clean.

Descaling
This appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, and
consequently limescale will not be formed. Consequently you do not
need to descaled the appliance.
However, if you nevertheless do wish to descale the appliance:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to
cool.
2. The jug kettle is tted with a descaling lter. This lter must be
removed for cleaning.
3. Fill the jug with a vinegar solution to the MAX level, and bring to the
boil.
4. Leave the jug with the vinegar solution to stand for a couple of hours.
5. Empty the jug, ll with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to the
boil. Empty the jug. Repeat this process twice.
NOTE: Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance.
These can be injurious to your health. Use solely a vinegar solution, or
special descaling agents available from retailers.
STORAGE
1. Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
2. Only wrap the cord around the base of the appliance, not to cause
damage.
3. Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
SPECIFICATIONS
The characteristics can change without preliminary preventing.
This unit is equipped with an electrical outlet with earth and must be
earthed in an according plug.
Note : In the event of question concerning the earth or electric
connection, please consult a qualied personnel.
In the event of short-circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric shock
while making possible the current to be evacuated by the wire of
ground.
Always unplug the appliance before any cleaning or maintenance
operation and accessories assembly.
CAUTION: If the electric cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, his after-sales service or people with similar qualication,
in order to avoid any danger. In order to minimize the risks of electric
shock, In the event of breakdown, not to open the case but to call upon
a qualied technician for repairs.

CAUTION
The lighting ash with arrowhead symbol, with an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous
voltage within the products enclosure that may be of sufcient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to
alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instruction in the literature accompanying the appliance.
This symbol means : “warning: do not use this appliance near bath,
tubs, showers containing water”
Protect our environment :
Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with household
waste. This equipment should be taken to your local recycling centre
for safe treatment. This will contribute to the recycling and other forms
reutilisation of electrical and electronic equipment.
The Symbol “Steam” within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important steam jet & to take all necessary
cautions against burns.
The symbol “ CE” marking; Is the guarantee of the respect of
the harmonized, optional European standards, who respect the
essential requirements in technical specications. These standards
are not obligatory but are guarantors of conformity to the essential
requirements.
This logo “Recycling” sensitizes the consumer on the need for recycling
its waste. Recycling is a process by which the materials which compose
a product at the end of the lifetime (industrial or domestic waste) are
re-used in whole or part and will be reintroduced in the initial cycle of
production.
This logo “the green point” is the partner symbol of valorisation
programme of domestic packing. While contributing to this program,
the companies, are put in agreement with the law which obliges them
to take part in the recycling of packing that they put on the market and,
are used for the installation of the selective collection of packing of the
households. However, packing carrying the Green Point cannot be all

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN

Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een geaard stopcontact.
Dit apparaat is alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Bij gebruik van
elektrische apparaten, moeten algemene veiligheidsmaatregelen altijd
opgevolgd worden om brand, elektrische schokken, brandwonden en
andere verwondingen en vormen van schade te voorkomen. Lees deze
gebruiksaanwijzing en veiligheidsmaatregelen zorgvuldig.

17. Controleer het netsnoer van tijd tot tijd op beschadigingen. Gebruik het
apparaat niet als de kabels of het apparaat tekenen van beschadiging toont.
18. Dompel dit apparaat nooit om welke reden dan ook onder in water of enige
andere vloeistof.
19. Plaats het apparaat nooit in de vaatwasser.
20. Gebruik het apparaat nooit nabij warme oppervlakten.
21. Als het snoer beschadigd is, moet het door de fabrikant, zijn verkoper of een
soortgelijk gekwaliceerd persoon(*) vervangen worden, om gevaarlijke situaties
te voorkomen.
22. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, alvorens u het apparaat schoonmaakt of
in elkaar zet.
23. Gebruik het apparaat nooit buitenshuis en plaats het altijd in een droge

aanbevolen acessoires kunnen een gevaar vormen voor de gebruiker en het

25. Gebruik geen ander stroomsnoer dan het meegeleverde exemplaar.
26. Verplaats het apparaat nooit door aan het netsnoer te trekken. Zorg ervoor
dat het snoer nooit verstrikt kan raken.
27. Wikkel het netsnoer nooit om het apparaat en verbuig het niet.
28. Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet in contact komt met de hete onderdelen van
dit apparaat.
29. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat afgekoeld is voordat u het schoonmaakt of
opbergt.
30. De temperatuur van toegankelijke oppervlakten kan hoog oplopen tijdens het
gebruik. Raak deze oppervlakten, noch het apparaat aan om te voorkomen dat u
zich verbrandt.
31. Houd het apparaat buiten bereik van brandbare materialen, zoals gordijnen,
doekjes etc, & zorg dat het netsnoer en de stekker nooit in contact met water
komen.
32. Voor het schoonmaken, dient u het apparaat te laten afkoelen en de stekker
uit het stopcontact halen.
33. Dit apparaat is niet ontworpen voor gebruik in combinatie met een externe
timer of een afstandbediening.
34. Plaats het apparaat altijd op een tafel of vlakke ondergrond. Zorg er ook
voor dat u het apparaat nooit bedekt, of er iets op legt.
35. Verwijder de stekker uit het stopconact indien u het apparaat niet in gebruik
heeft.
36. Indien u een verlengsnoer gebruikt, zorg dan dat het snoer geheel ontwonden
is van de haspel. Gebruik enkel CE-goedgekeurde verlengsnoeren. Het vermogen
moet minstens 16A, 250V, 3000W bedragen.
37. Onjuist of oneigenlijk gebruik kunnen het apparaat beschadigen en de
gebruiker verwonden.
38. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de normen, passende bij dit type product.
(*) Soortgelijk gekwaliceerd persoon: de after-sales afdeling van de producent
of importeur, of eender welke persoon die gekwaliceerd, goedgekeurd en
bevoegd is om dit soort reparaties uit te voeren.

SPECIALE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN
1. Plaats het apparaat op een tafel of vlakke ondergrond.
2. Gebruik of plaats dit product niet buiten als het regent.
3. Berg het apparaat niet nabij warme ovens of verhittingsapparaten
op.
4. Bepaalde onderdelen van dit apparaat kunnen warm worden. Raak
ze niet aan, om te voorkomen dat u zich verbrandt.
5. Breng geen wijzigingen aan dit apparaat aan.
6. Gebruik enkel koud water bij het vullen van dit apparaat.
7. Het waterniveau moet tussen de MAX. en MIN. markering zitten.
8. Zet de waterkoker uit voordat u hem van zijn basisstation haalt.
9. Zorg ervoor dat het deksel altijd goed gesloten is.
10. Het basisstation en exterieur van de waterkoker mogen niet nat
worden.
11. De waterkoker moet op het basisstation passen.
12. Gebruik enkel koud water bij het vullen.

GEBRUIK VAN DE MACHINE
Voordat u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt: Maak de binnenkant
van de waterkoker schoon. Verwijder eventuele resten van het
productieproces door 3 volle ketels water te koken. Voer dit water af.
1. Vul het reservoir voor de helft met water (zonder toevoeging van
andere producten).
2. Plaats de schakelaar in de “AAN” positie. Het lampje brandt en
geeft aan dat het water opgewarmd wordt.
3. Indien het water kookt, schakelt het apparaat zichzelf automatisch
uit
4. Til de waterkoker voorzichtig op en leeg hem in de gootsteen, let op
dat het niet spat (risico op brandwonden).
5. Het apparaat is nu klaar voor gebruik.
GEBRUIK
1. Plaats het elektrische basisstation op een vlakke ondergrond.
2. Vul de waterkoker met water (zonder toevoegingen). Let op: Niet te
vol maken! Gebruik de waterniveau-indicator.
3. Sluit het deksel
4. Plaats de waterkoker op het basisstation.
5. Verbind het apparaat enkel met een correct geïnstalleerd 230V~
50Hz stopcontact.
(controleer of het voltage dat u wil gebruiken overeen komt met wat
op het apparaat staat aangegeven. Details vind je op het etiket op de
basis)
1. Zet het apparaat in stand “1”. Het brandende lampje op de
waterkoker geeft aan dat het water verwarmd wordt.
2. Indien het water gekookt is, schakelt het apparaat zichzelf
automatisch uit.
3.Pak de ketel en schenk voorzichtig in het glas of mok
Laat het deksel gesloten, als u schenkt.
Oververhittingsbeveiliging
De waterkoker is uitgerust met een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Deze
schakelt de waterkoker uit als deze zonder (voldoende) water wordt
gebruikt. Laat de waterkoker minimaal 10 minuten afkoelen.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
1.Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u het schoonmaakt, Koppel het
apparaat altijd los en laat het afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.
2. Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een spons of licht vochtig
linnen.
Plaats de waterkoker of het onderstel nooit in de vaatwasser.
3. Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen!
4. Gebruik geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, schuurmiddelen,
metaalborstels of andere snijdende voorwerpen.

OPBERGEN
Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een ingebouwd verwarmingselement,
waardoor kalkaanslag niet zal worden gevormd. Hierdoor hoef je het
apparaat niet te ontkalken.
Als je echter toch het apparaat wilt ontkalken:
1. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen.
2. De waterkoker is voorzien van een ontkalkingslter. Dit lter moet
worden verwijderd om te reinigen.
3. Vul de waterkoker met een azijnoplossing tot aan het MAX-niveau en
breng het aan de kook.
4. Laat de waterkoker met de azijnoplossing een paar uur staan.
5. Giet de waterkoker leeg, vul hem met schoon water tot aan het
MAX-niveau en breng het opnieuw aan de kook. Giet de waterkoker
leeg. Herhaal dit proces twee keer.
LET OP: Gebruik nooit ammoniak of andere producten om het apparaat
te ontkalken. Deze kunnen schadelijk zijn voor je gezondheid. Gebruik
uitsluitend een azijnoplossing of speciale ontkalkingsmiddelen die
verkrijgbaar zijn bij winkels.
OPBERGEN
1. Zorg dat het apparaat afgekoeld en droog is.
2. Draai het stroomsnoer enkel om de basis van het apparaat, om
schade te voorkomen.
3. Bewaar het apparaat op een koele, droge plek.
SPECIFICATIES
De kenmerken kunnen veranderen zonder berichtgeving vooraf.
Dit apparaat is voorzien van een geaarde stekker en in een geaard
stopcontact worden gestoken.
Opmerking: in geval van vragen over de aarde, of elektrische
aansluiting, consulteer dan een gekwaliceerd persoon.
In geval van kortsluiting, vermindert de aarde kans op een elektische
schok, doordat de spanning door de aardedraad kan weglopen.
Verwijder de stekker altijd uit het stopcontact voordat u het reinigt, of
onderhoud pleegt en accessoires monteert.
LET OP: als het stroomsnoer beschadigd is, moet deze vervangen
worden door de fabrikant, zijn after-sales service of mensen met
soortgelijke kwalicaties, om beschadiging te voorkomen. Om het
risico op een elektrische schok te verkleinen, moet u in geval van een
storing de behuizing niet openen, maar een gekwaliceerd technicus
om reparatie vragen.

WAARSCHUWING
De bliksemits met pijlpunt in een gelijkzijdige driehoek, is bedoeld
om de gebruiker te wijzen op de aanwezigheid van niet-geïsoleerde
gevaarlijke voltages in het product, die het risico van een elektrische
schok kunnen vormen.
Het uitroepteken in een gelijkzijdige driehoek is bedoeld om de
gebruiker te wijzen op de aanwezigheid van belangrijke bedienings-
en onderhoudsinstructies in de handleiding van het product.
Het symbool betekent: “waarschuwing, gebruik dit apparaat niet in de
buurt van een badkuip, douche of soortgelijke waterbronnen”.
Bescherm ons milieu:
Afgedankte elektrische producten mogen niet worden weggegooid bij
het huishoudelijk afval. Deze apparatuur moet naar het plaatselijke
recyclingcentrum gebracht worden voor veilige behandeling. Dit zal
bijdragen aan het recyclen en andere vormen van het hergebruik van
elektrische apparatuur.
Het “Stoom”-symbool in een gelijkzijdige driehoek is bedoeld om de
gebruiker te wijzen op de aanwezigheid van belangrijke stoomstraal &
om voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen tegen brandwonden.
De “CE”-markering garandeert dat het apparaat gemaakt is in naleving
van de geharmoniseerde en optionele Europese normen. Deze normen
beschrijven de essentiële eisen in technische specicaties. Naleving
is niet verplicht, maar wel een waarborg van overeenstemming met
essentiële eisen.
Het “Recycling” logo wijst de consument op de noodzaak van
afvalrecycling. Recycling is een proces waarbij de materialen van een
product aan het einde van de levensduur (industrieel of huishoudelijk
afval) geheel of gedeeltelijk hergebruikt worden en opnieuw in de
eerste productiecyclus gebruikt worden.
Het “groene punt” logo is een partnersymbool van het
valorisatieprogramma van binnenlandse verpakkingen. Bedrijven
die meedoen aan dit programma worden wettelijk verplicht de
verpakkingen die ze op de markt brengen te recyclen en voor het
gebruik van selectieve inzameling van verpakkingsmaterialen van
huishoudens. Echter, niet alle verpakkingen die het groene stip logo
dragen kunnen gerecycled worden. Voor meer informatie kunt u terecht

VERWIJDEREN

17. Überprüfen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit das Kabel auf Schäden. Benutzen Sie
das Gerät niemals, wenn das Kabel oder das Gerät selbst Beschädigungen
aufweisen.
18. Tauchen Sie, egal aus welchem Grund, das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder
eine andere Flüssigkeit.
19. Stellen Sie es nie in die Spülmaschine.
20. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von heißen Oberächen.
21. Wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist, muss es vom Hersteller, seinem
Kundendienst oder einer vergleichbar qualizierten Person (*) ersetzt werden, um
eine Gefährdung zu vermeiden.
22. Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel aus der Steckdose bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen,
warten oder Zubehör montieren.
23. Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals im Freien und bewahren Sie es immer
trocken in einer trockenen Umgebung auf.
24. Benutzen Sie kein Zubehör, das nicht vom Hersteller empfohlen wurde. Es
könnte ein Risiko für den Benutzer darstellen und Schäden am Gerät verursachen.
25. Benutzen Sie niemals einen anderen, als den gelieferten Stecker.
26. Bewegen Sie das Gerät nicht, indem Sie am Kabel ziehen. Achten Sie
darauf, dass sich das Kabel nirgends verfängt.
27. Wickeln Sie das Kabel nie um das Gerät und knicken Sie es nicht.

31. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät niemals mit entammbaren Stoffen, wie
Gardinen, Stoff, etc. in Berührung kommt und dass das Stromkabel und der
Stecker nicht mit Wasser in Berührung kommen.
32. Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
33. Das Gerät ist nicht dafür gedacht durch eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder eine
Fernbedienung bedient zu werden.
34. Stellen Sie das Gerät immer auf einen Tisch oder eine ebene Oberäche.
Achten Sie auch darauf, das Gerät nicht abzudecken und legen Sie nichts auf das
Gerät.
35. Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht in
Gebrauch ist.
36. Wenn Sie ein Verlängerungskabel benutzen, achten Sie immer darauf,
dass das gesamte Kabel abgewickelt ist. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich
Verlängerungskabel mit CE-Zulassung. Die Eingangsleistung muss mindestens 16
A, 250 V, 3.000 W betragen.
37. Falsche Bedienung und falsche Benutzung können das Gerät beschädigen
und den Benutzer verletzen.
38. Das Gerät entspricht den auf diese Geräte anwendbaren Standards.

BESONDERE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder eine ebene Oberäche.
2. Benutzen Sie und lassen Sie das Gerät bei Regen nicht im Freien.
3. Bewahren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von heißen Öfen oder
Heizgeräten auf.
4. Bestimmte Teile des Geräts können heiß werden. Berühren Sie sie
nicht, Sie könnten sich verbrennen.
5. Verändern Sie das Gerät in keiner Weise.
6. Benutzen Sie nur kaltes Wassen zum Füllen.
7. Der Wasserstand muss zwischen der MIN. und der MAX.
Markierung liegen.
8. Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher ab, bevor Sie ihn von der Basis
nehmen.
9. Achten Sie immer darauf, dass der Deckel fest verschlossen ist.
10. Die Basis und die Außenseite des Wasserkochers dürfen nicht nass
werden.
11. Der Wasserkessel muss zur Basis passen.
12. Benutzen Sie nur kaltes Wasser zum Füllen.
