Installing or Replacing the Battery
The PTT-
Z uses one replaceable CR2032 coin cell type battery. The

To change the battery:
1. Separate the two halves of the PTT-Z housin by securely holdin the back cover and rotatin
the front cover in a counter-clockwise direction until the two halves come apart.
2. Locate the battery holder inside of the device. Remove the old battery from the battery
holder if one is installed. A ball point pen can be used to push the battery out of the holder if
needed.
3. Insert a new CR2032 3-volt coin cell battery into the battery holder, observin proper polarity.
The positive side of the battery (marked with a “+” si n) should face away from the circuit board.
3. Reinsert the two halves of the transmitter housin and rotate the top cover clockwise to
ti hten.
If You bou ht PTT-U then you need screwdriver to remove 4 screws.

Support and Warranty
Mobility Sound warrants this product a ainst defects in materials or workman-ship for a period of
one year from the date of retail purchase. Mobility Sound will repair or replace a defective unit, at
our option, without char e for parts or labor. The limited warranty is extended only to the ori inal
purchaser. It does not cover dama e or failure caused by or attributable to Acts of God, abuse,
misuse, improper or abnormal usa e, faulty installation, improper maintenance, li htnin , or other
incidences of excessive volta e, or any tamperin or repairs by other than a Mobility Sound
authorized repair facility. It does not cover replacement of consumable parts, transportation costs,
or dama e in transit.
Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty does not extend the terms of his warranty.
This warranty can only be modified by an officer of Mobility Sound, and then only in writin .
Should this product prove defective in workmanship or material, the consumer’s sole remedies
shall be such repair or replacement as provided by the terms of this warranty. Under no
circumstances shall Mobility Sound Products be liable for any loss or dama e, direct,
consequential, or incidental, arisin out of the use of or inability to use this product. Some states
do not allow limitations on how lon an implied warranty lasts or the exclusions or limitations of
incidental or consequential dama es, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
