2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG
für elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit und der Nieder-
spannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt folgende Punkte:
●Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich.
Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztempe-
raturbereich 0–40°C).
●Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z.B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
●Die im Gerät entstehende Wärme muss durch Luft-
zirkulation abgegeben werden. Darum dürfen die
Lüftungsschlitze des Gehäuses nicht mit irgendwel-
chen Gegenständen abgedeckt werden.
●Stecken Sie nichts durch die Lüftungsschlitze! Dies
kann zu einem elektrischen Schlag oder zum Defekt
des Gerätes führen.
●Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker sofort aus der Steckdose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder am Netzkabel
vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Lassen Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall in einer Fach-
werkstatt reparieren.
●Eine beschädigte Netzleitung darf nur durch den
Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt er-
setzt werden.
●Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus
der Steckdose.
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig ange-
schlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haf-
tung übernommen werden.
●Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltgerech-
ten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Anwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der S/W-Video-Quad-Prozessor TVSP-44 ist für den
Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen konzipiert. Er
stellt eine Kombination aus einem Video-Splitter und
einem Kamera-Umschalter dar, mit dem sich vier
Kamerabilder in Echtzeit auf einem Monitor überwa-
chen lassen:
1. zusammen als verkleinerte Schwarzweißbilder auf
einem in vier Quadranten unterteilten Bildschirm im
Quad-Splitter-Betrieb
2. nacheinander im Vollbild-Format (schwarzweiß
oder in Farbe) in automatischer Weiterschaltung
(Sequenzschaltung) mit einstellbarer Verweilzeit
4 Gerät anschließen
Der TVSP-44 sollte ausgeschaltet sein, wenn An-
schlüsse zu anderen Geräten vorgenommen bzw. ver-
ändert werden.
1) Bis zu 4 Kameras können an die Eingangsbuchsen
CAMERA1 ... CAMERA4 (10) angeschlossen wer-
den. Die Zuordnung der Kameraeingänge zu den
Bildschirmquadranten im Quad-Splitter-Betrieb er-
folgt entsprechend der Anordnung der Kamera-
wahltasten (1) auf der Frontseite.
Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung (230V~) versorgt. Neh-
men Sie deshalb niemals selbst Eingriffe
im Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes
Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines elek-
trischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt
beim Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Ga-
rantieanspruch.

2) Den Hauptmonitor an die Buchse MONITOR OUT
(9) anschließen.
Ein weiterer Monitor oder ein Videorecorder zur
Aufzeichnung kann an die Buchse ONLY QUAD
OUT (8) angeschlossen werden. Damit ist eine
ständige Darstellung oder Aufzeichnung aller Ka-
merabilder im Quad-Splitter-Betrieb möglich (unab-
hängig vom eingeschalteten Betriebsmodus).
3) Den Stecker der Netzleitung (6) in eine Steckdose
(230V~/50Hz) stecken.
5 Bedienung
Das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (5) einschalten.
Die Kontrolldiode neben dem Schalter leuchtet.
5.1 Manuelles Anwählen und Umschalten der
Kameras
Um eine Kamera im Vollbild-Format allein auf dem
Monitor zu zeigen, die entsprechende Taste (1) drü-
cken. Der Schalter (3) muss dabei auf „MANUAL“
(linke Position) stehen. Die Leuchtdiode neben einer
Kamerawahltaste (1) zeigt an, welche Kamera gerade
gewählt ist.
Zum Umschalten auf ein anderes Kamerabild die
dem Eingang entsprechende Taste drücken.
5.2 Quad-Splitter-Betrieb
Soll das Gerät im Quad-Splitter-Betrieb arbeiten, die
Taste QUAD (2) drücken. Der Schalter (3) muss dabei
auf „MANUAL“ (linke Position) stehen. Der Bildschirm
wird in vier Quadranten geteilt und kann bis zu vier
Kamerabilder gleichzeitig darstellen. Werden weniger
als vier Kameras angeschlossen, erscheinen die Qua-
dranten der nicht belegten Eingänge als Grauflächen.
Mit den Drehstellern GAIN (11) über den Kamera-
eingängen können die Pegel der angeschlossenen
Kameras untereinander angepasst werden.
5.3 Automatische Weiterschaltung
(Sequenzschaltung)
Für die Betriebsart Sequenzschaltung den Schalter (3)
auf „AUTO“ (rechte Position) stellen. Es wird nun
zyklisch die folgende Bildsequenz durchlaufen:

Die Verweilzeit der Ansichten kann mit dem Drehstel-
ler (4) stufenlos zwischen 1s (Linksanschlag) und 15s
(Rechtsanschlag) gewählt werden.
Zum Anhalten der aktuellen Ansicht den Schalter (3)
auf „MANUAL“ zurückstellen. Wird während der auto-
matischen Weiterschaltung eine Kamerawahltaste (1)
oder die Taste QUAD (2) gedrückt, so wird für die
Dauer des Tastendrucks auf die gewählte Ansicht
umgeschaltet. Nach dem Loslassen der Taste wird die
Sequenz bei dieser Ansicht fortgesetzt.

2 Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to the directive for electromag-
netic compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low voltage
directive 73/23/EEC.
Please observe the following items in any case:
●The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air hu-
midity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0–40°C).
●Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e.g. drink-
ing glasses, on the unit.
●The heat generated within the unit must be carried
off by air circulation. Therefore, do not cover the air
vents of the housing with any objects.
●Do not insert anything through the air vents!An elec-
tric shock or failure of the unit may result.
●Do not operate the unit or immediately disconnect
the plug from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to its mains
cable,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.
●A damaged mains cable must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by skilled personnel only.
●Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the mains
plug from the socket.
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
●If the unit is to be put out of operation permanently,
take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
●If the unit is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not connected or operated in the cor-
rect way or not repaired by skilled personnel, no lia-
bility for any damage will be accepted.
●Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accord-
ance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must
be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter Eor by the earth symbol
or coloured green or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter Nor coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter Lor coloured red.
Warning
- This appliance must be earthed.
3 Application
The B/W video quad processor TVSP-44 has been
designed for application in video monitoring systems.
It is a combination of a video splitter and a sequential
switch for cameras which allows observation of four
camera pictures in real time on a monitor:
1. together as reduced B/W pictures on a quad screen
in quad splitter mode
2. successively in full screen format (B/W or in colour)
in automatic sequential switching mode with ad-
justable dwell time
4 Connecting the Unit
The TVSP-44 should be switched off when connec-
tions to other units are made or changed.
Attention! The unit is supplied with hazardous
mains voltage (230V~). Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert han-
dling may cause an electric shock haz-
ard. Furthermore, any guarantee claim
will expire if the unit has been opened.

1) It is possible to connect up to 4 cameras to the input
jacks CAMERA 1 ... CAMERA 4 (10). The assign-
ment of the camera inputs to the screen quadrants
in quad splitter mode is made according to the
arrangement of the camera selecting buttons (1) at
the front panel.
2) Connect the main monitor to jack MONITOR OUT
(9). A further monitor or a video recorder for record-
ing may be connected to jack ONLY QUAD OUT
(8). Thus, a permanent display or recording of all
camera pictures is possible in the quad splitter oper-
ation (independent of the selected operating mode).
3) Connect the plug of the mains cable (6) to a mains
socket (230V~/50Hz).
5 Operation
Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (5). The
control LED next to the switch lights up to indicate
operation.
5.1 Manual selection and switching of the
cameras
To display one camera only in full screen format on the
monitor, press the corresponding button (1). The switch
(3) must be set to “MANUAL” (left position). The LED
next to the camera selecting button (1) indicates which
camera is being selected.
To switch to another camera picture, press the but-
ton corresponding to the input.
5.2 Quad splitter mode
If the unit is to operate in quad splitter mode, press
the QUAD button (2). The switch (3) must be set to
“MANUAL” (left position). The screen is then divided
into four quadrants and may display up to four camera
pictures simultaneously. If less than four cameras are
connected, the quadrants of the inputs that are not
connected are grey.
By means of the GAIN controls (11) above the
camera inputs, the levels of the connected cameras
can be matched with each other.
5.3 Automatic sequential switching
For the sequential switching mode, set the switch (3)
to “AUTO” (right position). The following picture se-
quence is cycled:

The dwell time of the pictures can be continuously
adjusted with the control knob (4) between 1s (left
stop) and 15s (right stop).
To hold the current picture, set the switch (3) back to
“MANUAL”. If a camera selecting button (1) or the
QUAD button (2) is pressed during automatic sequen-
tial switching, the selected picture is displayed as long
as the button is pressed.After release of the button the
sequence is continued starting from this picture.

2 Conseils d’utilisation
Le TVSP-44 répond à la norme européenne 89/336/
CEE relative à la compatibilité électromagnétique et à
la norme européenne 73/23/CEE portant sur les ap-
pareils à basse tension.
Respectez scrupuleusement les points suivants :
●L’appareil n’est conçu que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections
d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une humidité élevée et
de la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionne-
ment autorisée : 0–40°C).
●En aucun cas, vous ne devez poser d’objet conte-
nant du liquide ou un verre sur l’appareil.
●La chaleur dégagée par l’appareil doit être correcte-
ment évacuée par les ouïes de ventilation. En aucun
cas, ces dernières ne doivent être obturées.
●N’introduisez rien dans les ouïes de ventilation !
Vous pourriez vous électrocuter, ou l’appareil pour-
rait être endommagé.
●Ne le faites jamais fonctionner et débranchez-le
immédiatement lorsque :
1. des dommages sur l’appareil ou sur le cordon
secteur apparaissent,
2. après une chute ou accident similaire..., l’appareil
peut présenter un défaut,
3. des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.
Dans tous les cas, les dommages doivent être
réparés par un technicien spécialisé.
●Tout cordon secteur endommagé doit être exclu-
sivement remplacé par le fabricant ou un technicien
habilité.
●Ne débranchez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le cor-
don secteur.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mage si l’appareil est utilisé dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correc-
tement branché ou utilisé ou s’il n’est pas réparé par
une personne habilitée.
●Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez un chiffon sec et
doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
●Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré du circuit
de distribution, vous devez le déposer dans une
usine de recyclage adaptée, locale, pour une élimi-
nation non polluante.
3 Utilisation
Le séquenceur vidéo N & B TVSP-44 est conçu pour
les centrales de surveillance vidéo ; il combine les

4 Branchements
Veillez à débrancher l’appareil avant d’effectuer tout
branchement ou de les modifier.
1) Il est possible de relier jusqu’à 4 caméras aux prises
d’entrée CAMERA1 … CAMERA4 (10) ; l’ordre des
caméras dans les différents segments, en mode
Quad, est déterminé par l’arrangement des touches
de sélection (1) de la face avant.
2) Reliez le moniteur principal à la prise MONITOR
OUT (9).
Attention ! L’appareil est alimenté par une tension
très dangereuse en 230V~. Ne touchez
jamais l’intérieur de l’appareil, car en cas
de mauvaise manipulation, vous pour-
riez subir une décharge électrique mor-
telle. En outre, l’ouverture de l’appareil
rend tout droit à la garantie caduque.

Il est possible de brancher un autre moniteur ou
un magnétoscope à la prise ONLY QUAD OUT (8) ;
il est ainsi possible de visualiser ou d’enregistrer
toutes les images en mode Quad (indépendam-
ment du mode de fonctionnement sélectionné).
3) Reliez le cordon secteur (6) à une prise secteur
230V~/50Hz.
5 Fonctionnement
Allumez l’appareil avec l’interrupteur POWER (5); la
diode témoin de fonctionnement brille.
5.1 Sélection et commutation manuelles des
caméras
Pour afficher en mode plein écran l’image d’une ca-
méra sur un moniteur, mettez le commutateur (3) sur
“MANUEL” (à gauche) et enfoncez la touche (1) cor-
respondante. La diode à côté de la touche sélection-
née brille.
Pour passer sur une autre image, enfoncez la tou-
che correspondante.
5.2 Mode Quad
Si vous souhaitez utiliser le séquenceur en mode
Quad, mettez le commutateur (3) sur “MANUAL” (à
gauche) et enfoncez la touche QUAD (2). L’écran est
divisé en 4 segments et peut afficher simultanément
jusqu’à 4 images. Si moins de 4 caméras sont connec-
tées, les segments correspondants restent gris.
Avec les potentiomètres GAIN (11), vous pouvez
adapter les niveaux des caméras entre eux.
5.3 Commutation automatique (mode séquencé)
Mettez l’interrupteur (3) sur “AUTO” (à droite). La sé-
quence d’affichage est la suivante :

Vous pouvez régler la durée d’affichage de chaque
image avec le potentiomètre (4) de 1 seconde (butée
de gauche) à 15 secondes (butée de droite).
Mettez le commutateur (3) sur “MANUAL” pour con-
server l’image à l’écran. Si pendant la commutation
automatique, la touche QUAD (2) ou une touche de
sélection de caméras (1) est enfoncée, l’image alors
affichée demeure à l’écran tant que la touche est en-
foncée. Lorsque vous la relâchez, la séquence se
poursuit.

2 Avvertenze
Quest’apparecchio corrisponde alle direttive CE 89/
336/CEE sulla compatibilità elettromagnetica e 73/
23/CEE per apparecchi a bassa tensione.
Si devono osservare assolutamente i seguenti punti:
●L’apparecchio è previsto solo per l’uso all’interno
di locali. Proteggerlo da acqua gocciolante, dagli
spruzzi d'acqua, da alta umidità dell'aria e dal calore
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0°C e 40°C).
●Non depositare sull’apparecchio contenitori con li-
quidi, p.es. bicchieri.
●Dev’essere garantita la libera circolazione dell’aria
per dissipare il calore che viene prodotto all’interno
dell’apparecchio. Non coprire in nessun modo le
fessure di aerazione.
●Non inserire oggetti nelle fessure di aerazione! Altri-
menti si potrebbe provocare una scarica elettrica od
un difetto dell’apparecchio.
●Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio e staccare
subito la spina rete se:
1. l’apparecchio o il cavo rete presentano dei danni
visibili;
2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste il
sospetto di un difetto;
3. l’apparecchio non funziona correttamente.
Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad una officina
competente.
●Il cavo rete, se danneggiato, deve essere sostituito
solo dal costruttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato.
●Staccare il cavo rete afferrando la spina, senza tira-
re il cavo.
●Nel caso di uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati,
di impiego scorretto o di riparazione scorretta non si
assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni.
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o
acqua.
●Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitiva-
mente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istitu-
zione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Possibilità d’impiego
Il processore quad b/n TVSP-44 è stato realizzato per
l’impiego in impianti di sorveglianza con telecamere, e
costituisce una combinazione fra un video-splitter e un
selettore per telecamere con il quale si possono con-
trollare quattro immagini su un solo monitor in tempo
reale:
1. come quad-splitter, tutte insiemi in bianco/nero
sullo schermo suddiviso in quattro segmenti;
2. in successione come immagini singole a schermo
intero (b/n o a colori) con cambio automatico dell’im-
magine in intervalli regolabili.
4 Collegamenti
Staccare il TVSP-44 dall’alimentazione mentre si ese-
guono o si modificano i collegamenti con altri appa-
recchi.
1) Alle prese d’ingresso CAMERA 1 … CAMERA 4
(10) si possono collegare fino a 4 telecamere.
L’assegnazione degli ingressi delle telecamere per
la rappresentazione quad corrisponde ai tasti di
selezione (1) sul pannello frontale.
2) Collegare il monitor principale con la presa MONI-
TOR OUT (9).
La presa ONLY QUAD OUT (8) serve per un
altro monitor o per un videoregistratore. Ciò per-
mette la rappresentazione o la registrazione con-
tinua di tutte le immagini in funzionamento quad-
splitter (indipendentemente dal modo di funziona-
mento attivo).
3) Inserire il cavo rete (6) in una presa (230V~/50Hz).
Attenzione! Questo apparecchio funziona con ten-
sione di rete di 230V~. Non intervenire
mai al suo interno; la manipolazione
scorretta può provocare delle scariche
pericolose. Se l’apparecchio viene aper-
to, cessa ogni diritto di garanzia.

5 Funzionamento
Accendere l’apparecchio con l’interruttore POWER
(5). Si accende il LED di controllo vicino all’interruttore.
5.1 Selezione e commutazione manuale delle
telecamere
Per rappresentare l’immagine di una telecamera a
schermo intero sul monitor, premere il tasto corrispon-
dente (1). Il commutatore (3) deve trovarsi in posizione
“MANUAL” (posizione a sinistra). Il LED vicino al tasto
di selezione (1) indica la telecamera attiva.
Per cambiare canale premere il tasto relativo al
canale desiderato.
5.2 Funzionamento quad-splitter
Se è richiesto il funzionamento quad-splitter, premere
il tasto QUAD (2). Il commutatore (3) deve trovarsi in
posizione “MANUAL” (posizione a sinistra). Per poter
far vedere contemporaneamente fino a quattro imma-
gini, il monitor viene suddiviso in quattro segmenti. Se
sono collegate meno di quattro telecamere, i relativi
segmenti rimangono bui.
Con i regolatori del guadagno GAIN (11) sopra gli
ingressi delle telecamere è possibile adattare fra di
loro i livelli delle telecamere collegate.
5.3 Successione automatica delle telecamere
Per il funzionamento in successione automatica met-
tere il tasto (3) su “AUTO” (posizione a destra). La suc-
cessione ciclica è la seguente:

Il tempo di permanenza delle immagini sul monitor può
essere impostato con la manopola (4) fra 1sec. (tutta
a sinistra) fino a 15sec. (tutta a destra).
Per fermare l’immagine attuale, riportare il commuta-
tore (3) sul “MANUAL”. Se durante la sequenza auto-
matica si preme un tasto di selezione (1) o il tasto
QUAD (2), si passa alla vista della relativa immagine
per tutto il tempo in cui si tiene premuto il tasto. La-
sciando libero il tasto, la sequenza riprende da quella
immagine.

2 Consejos de seguridad
El TVSP-44 cumple la norma 89/336/CEE relativa a
la compatibilidad electromagnética (CE) y la norma
73/23/CEE relativa a los aparatos de baja tensión.
Respetar los siguientes puntos:
●El aparato está fabricado solo para una utilización
en interior. Protegerlo de todo tipo proyecciones de
agua, de las salpicaduras, de la humedad y del calor
(temperatura de funcionamiento autorizado:
de 0°C a 40°C).
●No poner recipientes llenados de líquido, p.ej.
vasos, sobre el aparato.
●El calor desprendido por el aparato debe evacuarse
por circulación del aire. En ningún caso las rejillas
de ventilación del aparato deben estar obstruidas
por ningún objeto.
●¡No poner nada dentro de las rejillas de ventilación!
Podría subir una descarga eléctrica o causar un
defecto del aparato.
●No hacer funcionar el aparato y desconectarlo de
inmediato en los siguientes casos:
1. el aparato o el cable de red están dañados.
2. después de una caída o accidente parecido, el
aparato pueda presentar un defecto.
3. aparece mal funcionamiento.
En cualquier caso, los daños deben ser reparados
solamente por un técnico especializado.
●Todo cable de red dañado debe ser reemplazado
únicamente por el constructor o un técnico habili-
tado.
●No retirar nunca el cable de red tirando del mismo.
●Para limpiar el aparato, utilizar un paño seco y
suave, en ningún caso productos químicos o agua.
●Declinamos toda responsabilidad si el aparato es
utilizado por otro fin que no sea el concebido, si no
está conectado o utilizado correctamente o no está
reparado de manera competente.
●Cuando el aparato se retira definitivamente del ser-
vicio, debe depositarse en una fábrica de reciclaje
adaptada.
3 Posiblidades de utilización
El secuenciador vídeo quad N y B TVSP-44 está con-
cebido para las centrales de vigilancia vídeo; combina
las funciones de selector de cámaras y de repartidor
vídeo permitiendo así vigilar en tiempo real en el moni-
tor las imágenes de 4 cámaras:
1. en modo Quad, la pantalla está dividida en 4 seg-
mentos visualizando simultáneamente 4 imágenes
de cámaras en blanco y negro en tamaño reducido
2. en modo pantalla completa (en blanco y negro o en
color), sucesivamente en conmutación automática
secuenciada con duración de visualización regula-
ble.
4 Conexiones
Vigilar a desconectar el aparato antes de efectuar o
modificar conexiones a otros aparatos.
1) Es posible conectar hasta 4 cámaras a las tomas
de entrada CAMARA 1...CAMARA 4 (10); el orden
de las entradas de cámaras en los segmentos de
pantalla, en modo Quad, viene determinado
correspondiente al orden de las teclas de selección
de cámaras (1) de la parte delantera.
2) Conectar el monitor principal al conector MONITOR
OUT (9).
Se puede conectar un monitor suplementario o
un grabador de vídeo al conector ONLY QUAD
¡Atención! El aparato está alimentado por una ten-
sión de 230V~. No tocar jamás el interior
del aparato ya que, en caso de una mala
manipulación del mismo, podría sufrir
una descarga eléctrica mortal. Además,
la apertura del aparato rescinde cual-
quier tipo de garantía.

las imágenes de todas las cámaras en el modo
Quad (independientemente del modo de funcio-
namiento seleccionado).
3) Conectar el cable de red (6) a una toma de red
230 V~/50Hz.
5 Funcionamiento
Conectar el aparato mediante el interruptor POWER (5);
el diodo testigo de funcionamiento se ilumina.
5.1 Selección manuales y conmutación
de las cámaras
Para visualizar en modo pantalla completa en un mo-
nitor solo una imagen de cámara, pulsar la tecla (1) co-
rrespondiente. Poner el interruptor (3) en “MANUAL”
(a la izquierda): el diodo al lado de una tecla de selec-
ción de cámaras (1) se ilumina indicando la cámara
seleccionada.
Para pasar a otra imagen, pulsar la tecla corres-
pondiente a la entrada.
5.2 Modo Quad
Si se desea utilizar el secuenciador en modo Quad,
pulsar la tecla QUAD (2): el conmutador (3) debe estar
en “MANUAL” (a la izquierda). La pantalla queda divi-
dida en 4 segmentos y puede visualizar simultánea-
mente hasta 4 imágenes de cámaras. Si hay conecta-
das menos de 4 cámaras, los segmentos de las entra-
das no conectadas quedan grises.
Mediante los potenciómetros GAIN (11) sobre las
entradas de cámaras, se pueden adaptar los niveles
de las cámaras conectadas entre ellos.
5.3 Conmutación automática
(modo secuenciado)
Para el modo secuenciado poner el interruptor (3) en
“AUTO” (a la derecha); la secuencia cíclica de visua-
lización es la siguiente:

Se puede también regular la duración de visualización
de cada imagen continuamente mediante el potenció-
metro (4) de 1 segundo (girar completamente a la
izquierda) a 15 segundos (girar completamente a la
derecha).
Poner el conmutador (3) en “MANUAL” para conser-
var la imagen en pantalla. Si durante la conmutación
automática, la tecla QUAD (2) o una tecla de selección
de cámaras (1) está pulsada, la imagen seleccionada
está conmutada mientras la tecla está pulsada.
Después de terminar de pulsar la tecla, la secuencia
continuará a partir de esta visualización.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Dit toestel is in overeenstemming met de EU-richtlijn
89/336/EEG voor elektromagnetische compatibiliteit
en 73/23/EEG voor toestellen op laagspanning.
Let eveneens op het volgende:
●Het toestel is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnens-
huis. Bescherm het tegen drup-, spatwater, hoge

1. het toestel of het netsnoer zichtbaar beschadigd
zijn,
2. er een defect zou kunnen optreden nadat het
toestel bijvoorbeeld gevallen is,
3. het toestel slecht functioneert.
Het apparaat moet in elk geval hersteld worden door
een gekwalificeerd vakman.
●En beschadigd netsnoer mag enkel door de fabrikant
of door een gekwalificeerd persoon hersteld worden.
●Trek de stekker nooit met het snoer uit het stop-
contact.
●Gebruik voor de reiniging uitsluitend een droge, zach-
te doek. Gebruik in geen geval chemicaliën of water.
●In geval van ongeoorloofd of verkeerd gebruik, ver-
keerde aansluiting, foutieve bediening of van her-

Ge ovillkorligen även akt på följande:
●Enheten är endast avsedda för inomhusbruk. Skyd-
da enheten mot vätskor, hög luftfuktighet och hög
värme (tillåten omgivningstemperatur 0–40°C).
●Placera inte föremål innehållande vätskor, t.ex.
dricksglass, på enheten.
●Värmen som alstras vid användning leds bort ge-
nom självcirkulering av luften. Quad processorn får
därför aldrig täckas över med något så att cirkulatio-
nen försämras.
●Stoppa inte in något i ventilations hållen! Om detta
gör så kan ni orsaka en elektrisk schock eller att
enheten förstörs.
●Använd inte enheten eller ta omedelbart kontakten
ur elurtaget om något av följande fel uppstår:
1. Enheten eller elsladden har synliga skador.
2. Enheten är skadad av fall e. d.
3. Enheten har andra felfunktioner.
Enheten skall alltid lagas på verkstad av utbildad
personal.
●En skadad elsladd skall endast bytas på verkstad
eller på tillverkaren.
●Drag aldrig ut kontakten genom att dra i sladden
utan ta tag i kontaktkroppen.
●Rengör endast med en mjuk och torr trasa, använd
aldrig kemikalier eller vatten vid rengöring.
●Om enheten används för andra ändamål än avsett,
om den kopplas in felaktigt, om den används på fel
sätt eller inte repareras av auktoriserad personal
upphör alla garantier att gälla och inget ansvar tas
heller för uppkommen skada på person eller mate-
riel.
●Om enheten skall kasseras bör de lämnas in till åter-
vinning.
OBS!
Enheten använder livsfarligt hög spänning internt
(230V~). For att undvika en elektrisk stöt, öppna al-
drig chassit på egen hand utan överlåt all service till
auktoriserad verkstad. Alla garantier upphör att gälla
om egna eller oauktoriserade ingrepp görs i enheten.

Ole hyvä ja huomioi aina seuraavat turvallisuutta kos-
kevat ohjeet ennen laitteen käyttöön ottoa. Katso käyt-
töön liittyviä ohjeita Saksan, Englannin, Ranskan tai
Italian kielisistä ohjeista, jos tarvitset lisää tietoa lait-
teen käytöstä.
Turvallisuudesta
Tämä laite vastaa direktiiviä 89/336/EEC sähkömag-
neettisesta yhteensopivuudesta sekä matalajännite-
direktiiviä 73/23/EEC.
Huomioi seuraavat seikat:
●Tämä laite soveltuu vain sisätilakäyttöön. Suojele
laitetta kosteudelta, vedeltä ja kuumuudelta (sallittu
ympäröivä lämpötila 0–40°C).
●Älä sijoita laitteen päälle mitään nestettä sisältävää,
kuten vesilasia tms.
●Videojakajan tuottaman lämmön on päästävä pois-
tumaan ilmankierron avulla. Siten laitteen jäähdyty-
saukkoja ei saa peittää missään olosuhteissa.
●Älä työnnä tai pudota mitään tuuletusaukkoihin,
koska tästä voi seurata sähköisku.
●Irrota virtajohto pistorasiasta, äläkä käynnistä lai-
tetta, jos:
1. virtajohdossa on havaittava vaurio
2. putoaminen tai muu vastaava vahinko on saatta-
nut aiheuttaa vaurion
3. laitteessa esiintyy toimintahäiriöitä
Kaikissa näissä tapauksissa laite tulee huollattaa
valtuutetussa huollossa.
●Vahingoittunut virtajohto tulee vaihdattaa valtuute-
tussa huoltoliikkeessä.
●Älä koskaan irrota virtajohtoa pistorasiasta johdosta
vetämällä.
●Käytä puhdistamiseen pelkästään kuivaa, pehmeää
kangasta. Älä käytä kemikaaleja tai vettä.
●Maahantuoja ja valmistaja eivät kanna vastuuta
mahdollisesta vahingosta jos laitetta käytetään muu-
hun tarkoitukseen kuin se alun perin on suunniteltu,
se on väärin asennettu, sitä on väärin käytetty tai
huollatettu valtuuttamattomassa huoltoliikkeessä.
●Kun laite poistetaan lopullisesti käytösta, vie se pai-
kalliseen kierrätyskeskukseen jälkikäsittelyä varten.
Huomio!
Tämä laite toimii hengenvaarallisella jännitteellä
(230V~). Jätä huoltotoimet valtuutetun huoltoliikkeen
tehtäväksi. Asiantuntematon käsittely saattaa aiheut-
taa sähköiskun vaaran. Huomioi myös, että takuu
raukeaa, jos laite on avattu.
