FOOD STORAGE NOTES
Freezer (≤-4°F)
Meat should be cut and wrapped tightly.
If you purchase frozen food, put it in the freeze before it thaws.
Do not mix fresh and frozen food.
Do not put fruits and vegetables in the freezer to avoid freeze drying.
Do not place glass or other containers with sealed liquid in the freezer.
Refrigerator (+32 ~ +50°F)
You can put eggs, butter, milk, and bottled drinks in the refrigerator.
Fruit and vegetables should be put in the crisper to allow them to retain their
moisture.
Hot food should be cooled down before placing it in the refrigerator to help save
power.
Food should be placed in fresh plastic bags.
Leave space between packaged foods to allow for air circulation.

6
DEFROSTING
With prolonged use as a freezer, the unit may accumulate frost on the interior surfaces,
which can reduce its ability to cool and increase power consumption. If this occurs, you
should defrost the unit. Perform the following steps to defrost the unit.
1. Press the button on the top panel to turn the unit off, then unplug it from its
power source.
2. Open the door, then remove any foods or drinks and place them in a cool place
(ideally another refrigerator or freezer).
3. Use a defrosting shovel to remove the ice buildup. Do not use sharp metal tools to
avoid damage to the surface of the inner tank. This will be easier if you leave the
door open and allow the ice to soften. Alternatively, you can simply leave the door
open until the ice buildup melts entirely.
4. Use a cup, sponge, and/or towel to remove the water and ice.
5. Thoroughly dry the inner tank with a clean towel.
6. Close the door, reconnect power, turn it on, and set the temperature to the desired
level. Once the temperature reaches the target value, put your food back inside the
unit.
OPERATING NOTES
The following conditions are normal when operating this unit.
The flow of refrigerant through the evaporator may cause a boiling or gurgling
sound.
In rainy or high humidity weather, moisture may form on the outside of the unit and
door gaskets. Wipe the surfaces dry with a towel.
The temperature on the back of the unit may be quite high, especially when
operating in the summer, caused by the heat emissions of the condenser.
The temperature on the external surface of the compressor may be high when the
compressor is working.

7
The compressor may cause a high hum or pulsating sound when it is starting or
stopping.
It is normal to hear a metal hitting metal noise when the unit is bumped.
