IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICES
Your tablet PC is manufactured and designed for mobile
usage. Please read the following instructions carefully. These
will help you use your device safely and keep it in good
working condition:
Do not place objects on top of the tablet, as objects may
scratch the screen.
Protect the device from moisture and from dusty or smoky
environments, as these can harm the tablet. Do not use
your tablet in the rain; it is not a waterproof device. Protect
your tablet from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Keep your tablet away from contact with active chemicals.
Do not place the tablet on an uneven or unstable surface.
Dropping the device can damage the LCD screen, which is
not covered by warranty.
Do not expose the tablet to strong magnetic or electrical
fields.
Protect your tablet from hits and extreme pressure.
Operation Temperature: This tablet should only be used in
environments with ambient temperatures between 32°F
(0°C) and 113°F (45°C ).
Do not force or attempt to insert items with different
ports/plugs into the tablet.
Do not use your tablet while driving.
Use only manufacturer approved chargers. Using non-orig-
inal chargers may cause damage to the device and may be
harmful to your health.
The device and adapter may produce some heat during
normal operation or charging. Avoid placing them on soft
surfaces or other locations/conditions that may prevent
normal dispersion of heat, which can cause device
overheating. To prevent discomfort or injury from heat
exposure, do not leave the tablet on your lap or other
parts of the body.
Once charged, disconnect the tablet from the electrical
outlet.
Do not use a pen or any sharp object to tap the screen.
Clean the touchscreen with a soft cloth. If needed, dampen
the cloth slightly before cleaning. Never use abrasives or
cleaning solutions.

DO NOT disassemble the tablet. Only a certified service
technician should perform repair.
Always power off the tablet when installing or removing
external devices that do not support hot plugging.
Your tablet must be switched off during airplane take-off
and landing.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
Your new tablet will be partially charged. The battery icon at
the upper-right corner of the screen shows the battery level
or charging status.
WARNING: Always use authentic accessories to optimize your
battery performance. Non-authentic accessories (e.g.
Chargers, power adapters) can damage your battery—and
even your tablet.
Plug the small end of the USB cable into the micro USB
port of the device, and plug the larger end of the cable
into the power adapter.
Once fully charged, disconnect the device from the
charger. Unplug the charger from the device first, and then
unplug it from the electric socket.

OPTIMIZING YOUR BATTERY PERFORMANCE
Here are some tips to help you optimize your battery
performance.
POWERING ON/OFF YOUR TABLET
Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to power
on your tablet.
After turning on the device for the first time, Installer
Wizard will appear on the screen. It will oer you a few
third-party apps; tap the apps you wish to install on your
tablet. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the apps.
It may take a few minutes for your tablet to install the
apps; please be patient.
To turn oyour tablet, press and hold the power button,
and then tap Power oon the pop-up screen.
If you do not install apps provided by Installer Wizard the
first time, you can tap on the home screen to install these
apps next time.

Always ensure that your tablet profile is appropriately set
to meet your actual usage.
If you are not using Bluetooth, WiFi or other applications,
turn them o.
Adjust the intensity of your display screen’s backlight to
low or medium level and for the shortest duration.
Avoid using or placing your tablet near magnetic objects
(e.g. a radio or television) or on metal surfaces, which will
impact the network connection and ultimately drain power
from your battery.

TOUCHSCREEN BASICS
Finger Tips
Only use your fingers to touch the screen.
Tap
Open an application, select a menu item, press an
on-screen button, or enter a character using the
on-screen keyboard by tapping it with one finger.
Touch & Hold
Touch and hold an item for more than 2 seconds to
access available options.
Swipe
Quickly swipe your finger vertically or horizontally
across the screen to go to other home pages, scroll
through documents, and more.
Slide or Scroll
Quickly swipe your finger vertically or horizontally
across the screen to go to other home pages, scroll
through documents, and more.
Zoom in
Spread two fingers apart on a web page, map, or
image to zoom in.
Zoom out
Pinch two fingers together on a web page, map, or
image to zoom out.
Flick
Flick left or right on the home screen or the
applications screen to see another panel. Flick
up or down to scroll through a web page or a list,
such as contacts.

HOMESCREEN
Your home screen is the starting point to access all your
tablet’s features. The home screen can have multiple panels.
To view other panels, swipe left or right.
The menu, home and back keys help you navigate your tablet.
• Tap Recent Apps to open a list of recent apps.
• Tap the Home Screen Button to return to the home screen.
• Tap the Back button to return to the previous screen.
• Drag up from the bottom of the screen to open the menu list.

Tap and hold a blank area on the home screen.
Select one of the following: Live Wallpapers, Photos, or
Wallpapers.
Select an image and tap Set Wallpaper. Or, select an
image, resize it by dragging the frame, and then tap OK.

Personalizing your Wallpaper
Pick your favorite photo as your home wallpaper. Choose
from the available wallpapers, or use any photo you have
taken with the camera.
Adding an App Icon to the Homescreen
Tap and hold an item to remove.
The Remove option appears at the top of the Home screen.
Drag the item to the Remove option.
When the item turns gray, you may release it.

NOTIFICATIONS PANEL
When you get a new notification, you can open the
notifications panel to see what event notification or new
information you have received.
QUICK SETTINGS
Quick Settings allow you to easily
turn on Airplane Mode and WiFi, and
also provide a quick shortcut to
change the mode and set the
brightness and auto rotation.
Swipe down from the top right
corner on the screen to open Quick
Settings.
To open the notifications panel, swipe your finger down
from the top left of the screen.
To close the notifications panel, drag the panel up.

LOCKING & UNLOCKING THE SCREEN
When not in use, lock your tablet to prevent unwanted
operations and to save the battery power.
You can use the earphones to answer a call or listen to music.
Lock: press the power button.
Unlock: press the power button, and then slide the lock
icon to unlock your screen.
When your tablet is locked, nothing happens if you touch
the screen. You will still be able to:
• Receive calls, text messages, and other updates.
• Play music.
• Adjust the volume.

Autolock
You can set a time span for the screen to be locked
automatically.
1. On the list menu, tap Settings > Display > Sleep.
2. Select your desired time span.
Set Screen Lock Pattern
Protect your personal information and prevent others from
using your tablet without your permission by setting a screen
lock pattern, PIN, or password. You will be asked to unlock
the screen every time your tablet is powered on or when it is
idle for a certain period of time.
On the list menu, tap Settings > Security & location > Screen
lock.
Unlock your Tablet
Turn on the screen by pressing the power button, and enter
the unlock code.
If you have forgotten your screen lock pattern or code, you
have up to five attempts to try and unlock your tablet. If this
fails, take the device to your dealer to reset it.
Your tablet connects to the Internet whenever necessary,
using a Wi-Fi connection (if available).
Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network to use the Internet or
share media files with other devices.
To use Wi-Fi, you need access to a wireless point or hotspot.
The availability and strength of the Wi-Fi signal will vary
depending on the environment, such as building structure or
simply a wall between rooms. Wi-Fi signal has to pass
through.

On the Home screen or list menu, Tap the Settings App ,
and then tap Wi-Fi to turn it on.
The Wi-Fi section will show the list of networks detected.
Tap the desired Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.

Erasing a Saved Wireless Network
Note: If you selected a secured network, you will be asked to
enter the network key or password.
The next time your tablet connects to a previously accessed
wireless network, you will not be asked to enter the key or
other security information again.
Any network that has ever been used, including the current
network, can be erased. Your tablet will not automatically
connect to it.

BLUETOOTH
Your tablet can connect to a compatible Bluetooth device to
exchange data.
Bluetooth creates a direct wireless connection between two
devices over short distances.
NOTE: Do not use the Bluetooth feature for illegal purposes
(for example, pirating copies of files or illegally tapping
communications for commercial purposes).
Pairing a Bluetooth device
1. Tap on the Settings app
2. Tap to turn Bluetooth on.
3. A list of available Bluetooth devices will appear.
4. Select the device you wish to connect with. Tap Pair. The
pairing is successful if your pairing request is accepted by
the other device.
Unpairing a Bluetooth device
1. Go to Settings > Connected devices.
2. Select the icon next to the name of the device you wish
to disconnect from and then click “Disconnect”.
Sending data via Bluetooth
1. Tap on the Settings app
2. Tap to turn Bluetooth on.
3. Pair with the desired Bluetooth device.
4. Select the file you want to share.
5. Tap on the Share icon to send the file via Bluetooth.
6. Select a device to start sending the file.
Receiving data via Bluetooth
1. Tap on the Settings app
2. Tap to turn Bluetooth on.
3. Tap your tablet model to make it visible to all nearby
Bluetooth devices.
4. Accept the request and pair with the other Bluetooth
device.
5. Open notifications panel, tap Accept.
The files received via Bluetooth are stored in the Bluetooth
folder.

a website, please confirm that you have turn on data
connection or Wi-Fi.

websites. Files and apps downloaded from the web can be
from unknown sources. To protect your tablet and personal
data, we strongly recommend that you download and open
only the files you trust.
- Tap to bookmark the current web page.

- Tap to browse web pages from Bookmarks, History
and Saved pages.

To use the camera, on the home screen or list menu, tap on
the Camera App.

You can share your photos with another device via email,
MMS or Bluetooth.

3. Tap the share icon to open a drop-down list, and then tap
Email/Messaging/Bluetooth.

2. Select the photo(s) that you want to delete.
3. Tap on the icon to move to trash.

Use the Clock app to set alarms, check the time of
any location in the world, measure the duration of
an event, or set a timer.

You can set up one or more alarms.
Setting an alarm
1. On the clock screen, tap on Alarm from the top menu.
2. Tap + to add a new alarm.
3. Use the virtual digit keyboard to set the alarm time.
4. Tap OK.
5. If you want the alarm for multiple days, tap Repeat.
Turning off an alarm
1. Select the alarm you want to turn o.
2. Drag the slider to O.
Stopping an alarm
When the alarm rings, you can choose to Dismiss the alarm or
set it to Snooze. The alarm will ring again in a few minutes if
you choose Snooze.
Deleting an alarm
1. Tap and hold the alarm you want to delete.
2. Tap the trash can icon to delete.

APPS (GOOGLE PLAY)
Google Accounts
To be able to download new apps, you will need a Google
account. When you open Google Play store it will ask you to
login with your pre-existing Google account or choose to
create a new one.
Google accounts are free and can be used to access many
Google services like Gmail, Youtube, and more importantly
the Google Play Apps store.
Creating a Google Account
1. From your homescreen, tap on the Settings app
2. Then tap on “User & Accounts” > “Add Account”
3. You will be asked to choose the type of account your
would like to add. Tap on “Google”.
4. The screen will ask you to sign in to an existing google
account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create a new
one by tapping on “Create Account” on the bottom of the
screen.

4. Sign in to your account to add it.
NOTE: Please remember to shut off your tablet before inserting
a SIM card. Once the SIM card has been inserted, you can turn
your tablet back on. This makes it easier for the tablet to detect
the card.

Google Accounts
To be able to download new apps, you will need a Google
account. When you open Google Play store it will ask you to
login with your pre-existing Google account or choose to
create a new one.
Google accounts are free and can be used to access many
Google services like Gmail, Youtube, and more importantly

1. From your homescreen, tap on the Settings app
2. Then tap on “User & Accounts” > “Add Account”

Downloading Apps with Google Play
You can install apps, games, and digital content on your
device from the Google Play Store. Sometimes you can also
use instant apps without installing the app on your device.
Some content is free, some content you’ll need to buy.
Open the Google Play app
Find an app you want.
To check that the app is reliable, find out what other
people say about it. Under the app's title, check the star
ratings and the number of downloads. To read individual
reviews, scroll down.
When you pick an app, tap Install (for free apps) or the
app's price.

Network & Internet
Wi-Fi: Activate the Wi-Fi feature to connect to a Wi-Fi
network and access the Internet or other network devices.
Data Usage: Keep track of your data usage amount, and
customize the Settings to set limits.
Hotspot & Tethering:
• Enable this feature to use your device as a wireless modem
by connecting to a computer via USB.
• Enable this feature to use your device as a wireless access
point for other devices.
• Activate the Bluetooth tethering feature to share your
mobile network with computers via Bluetooth.
VPN: Set up and manage virtual private networks (VPNs).
Airplane Mode: Activate airplane mode to disable all wireless
functions on your device. You will only be able to use
network features.
Airplane mode disables wireless features in order to reduce
potential interference with aircraft operations and other
electrical equipment.
Connected Devices
Check connected Bluetooth, cast and USB devices as well as
connected printers.
Apps & Notifications
Check App Settings such as data and battery usage,
permissions, set to force stop or disable apps, and other
advanced settings.
Battery
Provides battery usage data.
Display
Change the settings to control the display and backlight on
your device.
TABLET SETTINGS
Use this app to control and customize your tablet's
