Start Up Guide
After installing the MC-100 system and connecting
your devices to their relative ports, you may use this
guide to set up the system for the first time use.
MC-100 Audio System

of various functions and
their controls, please refer
to the Users Guide.

Please note: The screen has been calibrated for use
with gloved hands. If operang the screen with bare
hands, you may need to press a lile rmer than
normal. This is not a problem with the system.

Turn the system on by pressing the brightness buon and holding it unl the screen starts up.
Press the “S” buon to bring up the Sources screen OR press the “Now Playing” box on the screen
Press the “Set Up” icon on the display
Press the Source Icons buon on the display
Press the Aux1 buon (top le locaon) to select the icon to use for the device connected to the
Aux1 port. Press the buon repeatedly to scroll through a list of icon choices. When you nd the
icon you want to use, simply stop there and go on to the next port or leave the page by pressing the
Exit Set-Up buon on the screen. The icon displayed will be selected.
Press the Aux2 buon (top right locaon) and repeat to select an icon for the Aux2 port.
Press the Aux3 buon (mid le locaon) and repeat to select an icon for the Aux3 port.
Select Source Names
From the main screen, you will see a buon that says “Radio O”. Press the “S” buon on the panel
OR the “Now Playing” box in the center of the screen to go to the source selecon icons.
Press the Radio icon (upper le locaon) to turn the radio ON. (a green light will appear over the
icon to indicate it is acve).
Press the “Exit Sources” bar at the top of the screen OR the “S” buon to return to the main screen.
The Radio screen buon will now say “FM” and the staon number.
Press the FM screen buon to bring up the radio controls screen.
Since no staons are yet preset, press the double arrows on the screen to go to the Next (Right/Up)
or Previous (Le/Down) staons to be found by signal strength. The new staon number will

Turn on the FM radio, following the above procedure and tune to a radio staon with a
strong signal. Set the listening volume to a pleasant level.
(note: if you do not have an antenna installed, you may plug the 3.5mm /6 . audio cable
(included) into the antenna jack. Stretch out the cable and hide under your fairing.
Press the “S” (Source) buon to go to the Source menu
Turn on your Aux1 source by pressing the icon that represents it. A green light will appear over the
icon to indicate that it is “On”
Press and release the Set-Up buon to display the Set-Up Opons screen
Press and release the Input Volume icon on the screen
Adjust the Aux1 Volume Slider unl the device volume is close to your radio listening level
Press and release the Cong Levels buon to return to the Source Menu
Alternate between the Aux1 device and the FM radio, adjusng the Aux1 volume unl they sound
the same to you. (turn Aux1 OFF and turn the FM radio ON - then reverse the procedure of ON/OFF)
Repeat the procedure for the Aux2 and Aux3 ports unl all of your devices sound the same to you.
Note: You will need to repeat this procedure if you change or relocate devices.
From the Set-Up screen, press the Phone Set-up buon on the display
Press the red “Phone is Disabled” buon on the screen. The buon will change from red to blue
with the label “Phone is Enabled”.
Note: To use the phone, you will need to have the GPS turned on. You sll need to answer the
phone by accepng the call through the Zumo® .
When a call comes in, press the Mute buon (Speaker icon on the Display Screen) for 2 seconds and
the system will automacally go into phone mode by muted music to accept the call. Then accept
the call from your GPS and begin speaking. When you nish the call, press and release the Mute
buon (Speaker icon) and your music will return to it’s previous seng.

If 2-Way Radio is Connected
Press “S” buon on the Display Buon panel to go to the Sources screen
Press the FRS radio icon to turn the 2-way radio ON
Press the “S” Buon again to return to the main Volume menu screen
Adjust the Microphone volume to your desired level
From the Volume screen, press the LEFT Arrow buon on the panel to go to the 2-Way radio
screen.
Turn the volume on your 2-way radio to the maximum volume level
Have a helper transmit to you. Adjust the receive volume level for the MC-100 using the UP and
Down arrows unl the volume is at the desired level.
To Save your settings
(for your personal default settings)
Press and release the “S” buon to bring up the Source Menu
Press and release the Set-Up icon to go to the Set-Up opons screen
Press and release the SETTINGS Save/Restore buon icon
Press and release the SAVE User Sengs buon icon.
Aer sengs have been saved, the MC-100 will return to the Source menu.
To Recover Stored settings
Press and release the “S” buon to bring up the Source Menu
Press and release the Set-Up icon
Press and release the USER Restore buon icon
Aer sengs have been restored, the MC-100 will restart with the saved sengs
