Start Up Guide
After installing the MC-100 system and connecting
your devices to their relative ports, you may use this
guide to set up the system for the first time use.
MC-100 Audio System

of various functions and
their controls, please refer
to the Users Guide.

Please note: The screen has been calibrated for use
with gloved hands. If operang the screen with bare
hands, you may need to press a lile rmer than
normal. This is not a problem with the system.

Turn the system on by pressing the brightness buon and holding it unl the screen starts up.
Press the “S” buon to bring up the Sources screen OR press the “Now Playing” box on the screen
Press the “Set Up” icon on the display
Press the Source Icons buon on the display
Press the Aux1 buon (top le locaon) to select the icon to use for the device connected to the
Aux1 port. Press the buon repeatedly to scroll through a list of icon choices. When you nd the
icon you want to use, simply stop there and go on to the next port or leave the page by pressing the
Exit Set-Up buon on the screen. The icon displayed will be selected.
Press the Aux2 buon (top right locaon) and repeat to select an icon for the Aux2 port.
Press the Aux3 buon (mid le locaon) and repeat to select an icon for the Aux3 port.
Select Source Names
From the main screen, you will see a buon that says “Radio O”. Press the “S” buon on the panel
OR the “Now Playing” box in the center of the screen to go to the source selecon icons.
Press the Radio icon (upper le locaon) to turn the radio ON. (a green light will appear over the
icon to indicate it is acve).
Press the “Exit Sources” bar at the top of the screen OR the “S” buon to return to the main screen.
The Radio screen buon will now say “FM” and the staon number.
Press the FM screen buon to bring up the radio controls screen.
Since no staons are yet preset, press the double arrows on the screen to go to the Next (Right/Up)
or Previous (Le/Down) staons to be found by signal strength. The new staon number will

Turn on the FM radio, following the above procedure and tune to a radio staon with a
strong signal. Set the listening volume to a pleasant level.
(note: if you do not have an antenna installed, you may plug the 3.5mm /6 . audio cable
(included) into the antenna jack. Stretch out the cable and hide under your fairing.
Press the “S” (Source) buon to go to the Source menu
Turn on your Aux1 source by pressing the icon that represents it. A green light will appear over the
icon to indicate that it is “On”
Press and release the Set-Up buon to display the Set-Up Opons screen
Press and release the Input Volume icon on the screen
Adjust the Aux1 Volume Slider unl the device volume is close to your radio listening level
Press and release the Cong Levels buon to return to the Source Menu
Alternate between the Aux1 device and the FM radio, adjusng the Aux1 volume unl they sound
the same to you. (turn Aux1 OFF and turn the FM radio ON - then reverse the procedure of ON/OFF)
Repeat the procedure for the Aux2 and Aux3 ports unl all of your devices sound the same to you.
Note: You will need to repeat this procedure if you change or relocate devices.
From the Set-Up screen, press the Phone Set-up buon on the display
Press the red “Phone is Disabled” buon on the screen. The buon will change from red to blue
with the label “Phone is Enabled”.
Note: To use the phone, you will need to have the GPS turned on. You sll need to answer the
phone by accepng the call through the Zumo® .
When a call comes in, press the Mute buon (Speaker icon on the Display Screen) for 2 seconds and
the system will automacally go into phone mode by muted music to accept the call. Then accept
the call from your GPS and begin speaking. When you nish the call, press and release the Mute
buon (Speaker icon) and your music will return to it’s previous seng.

If 2-Way Radio is Connected
Press “S” buon on the Display Buon panel to go to the Sources screen
Press the FRS radio icon to turn the 2-way radio ON
Press the “S” Buon again to return to the main Volume menu screen
Adjust the Microphone volume to your desired level
From the Volume screen, press the LEFT Arrow buon on the panel to go to the 2-Way radio
screen.
Turn the volume on your 2-way radio to the maximum volume level
Have a helper transmit to you. Adjust the receive volume level for the MC-100 using the UP and
Down arrows unl the volume is at the desired level.
To Save your settings (for your personal default settings)
Press and release the “S” buon to bring up the Source Menu
Press and release the Set-Up icon to go to the Set-Up opons screen
Press and release the SETTINGS Save/Restore buon icon
Press and release the SAVE User Sengs buon icon.
Aer sengs have been saved, the MC-100 will return to the Source menu.
To Recover Stored settings
Press and release the “S” buon to bring up the Source Menu
Press and release the Set-Up icon
Press and release the USER Restore buon icon
Aer sengs have been restored, the MC-100 will restart with the saved sengs
