• To disconnect, turn all controls (knobs) to the “OFF” position, then remove the plug
from the wall outlet.
• Leave about 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15cm) of open space around the exterior of this
appliance.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the oven near flammable materials. A fire may occur if the appliance is
covered or touching flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, etc., when in
operation.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or toaster oven in
water or other liquid. Do not let any water or other liquid enter the appliance to prevent
electric shock.
• Do not place the oven on or near a hot gas or electric burner. Always place the toaster
oven on heat-protected surfaces.
• Unplug the oven from the outlet when the appliance is not in use, before putting in or
taking out parts, and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down before handling.
• Do not place the toaster oven on a carpet.
• Do not connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands. This may result in electric
shock.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless

• Keep the toaster oven further away from the wall or cabinet than indicated in the picture
above if the wall or cabinet is coated with vinyl or resin.
• Do not store any item on top of the oven when in operation.
• The use of accessories not recommended by Mueller may cause injuries.
• Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, and
similar.
• Do not store any materials, other than the manufacturer's recommended accessories,
in this oven when not in use.
• We recommend using the multi-purpose metal pans inside this toaster oven such as
enamel baking pan, galvanized baking pan, aluminum plated baking pan, non-stick oil
baking pan, ceramic oil baking pan.
• Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when inserting or removing items from
the hot oven, or use the provided Toast Tongs.
• Use extreme caution when removing the crumb tray or disposing of hot grease.
• Replace cardboard lids on food containers with aluminum foil because cardboard lids
may burn. When using aluminum foil, keep it away from heating elements.
• Do not cover the crumb tray or the walls of the oven tray (including the heating
elements) with metal foil. It will lead to overheating of the oven and is a fire hazard.
• To prevent smoking, spattering, and the possibility of food catching on fire, do not put
the food too close to the heating elements.
• Oversized foods and metal utensils must not be placed inside the toaster oven as they
may create fire or create a risk of electric shock.
• Do not heat more than necessary. Overheating can cause the food to catch fire.
• Do not touch the metallic parts or the glass window during or immediately after use.
There is a danger of getting burnt.
• Non-oily food can be placed directly on the baking rack while oily food should be
wrapped in aluminum foil as oil spilled on the crumb tray may burn, causing
smoke and fire.
• Do not use parchment paper or cooking sheet other than for putting it under cake
molds. Do not use cake-mix paper molds. The parchment paper or cooking sheet
might burn or catch fire.
2

• Do not use this unit for anything else except for cooking.
• For household use only.
• Stale toast, croutons, crackers may catch fire inside this appliance. Watch the toasting
process carefully.
• Do not heat canned or bottled goods directly. There is a danger of burns or injury.
• Clean this appliance regularly as a built-up of grease may cause a fire.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch
electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
• Do not use outdoors.
• When in use, make sure the crumb tray is clean and installed correctly.
• If the food you are cooking emits smoke or catches fire, turn off the power button,
then disconnect the power plug. Do not open the door until the flame dies down. If
air enters the interior of the toaster oven, the flame will become more significant.
• Do not use water on grease fires; smother fire or use dry chemical or foam-type
extinguisher.
• Use only a soapy damp cloth to clean the glass on the oven door. Do not use any sharp
utensils as this may damage the glass and possibly cause the breaking of the glass.

HOW TO USE - GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
2 PLACE THE FOOD ON THE BAKING PAN and then
PLACE THE BAKING PAN ON THE BAKING RACK, and
securely shut the oven door.
WARNING: Non-oily food can be placed directly on the
Baking Rack while oily food should be wrapped in
aluminum foil as oil spilled on the crumb tray may burn,
causing smoke and tarnishing the tray.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you always use an oven
proof container in the oven. Never use plastic or
cardboard containers in the oven. You can use glass lids
but make sure that the temperature resistance of the glass
is a minimum of 480ºF (250ºC).Ceramic pans or dishes
can be used in the oven, but the temperature resistance of
the ceramic must be above 150ºF (815 ºC).
1 PLACE THE BAKING RACK ON A RACK POSITION that
will accommodate the height of the food to be cooked.
Note: During operation, the heating elements will turn
on and off intermittently to maintain the selected
temperature.
3 SET THE TEMPERATURE by turning the Temperature
Knob clockwise to the desired temperature. The
temperature can be set from 140ºF to 482ºF (60ºC to
250ºC).
Preheating: In general, it is not necessary to preheat the
oven, but you may get better results if you preheat the
oven before cooking some delicate meals, such as rare
medium meat and cakes.
4 CHOOSE A COOKING FUNCTION by turning the
Cooking-Functions Knob clockwise to the desired
function (Toasting, Baking, or Broiling).
7

-If you want to increase the cooking time, simply turn
the time knob clockwise to the desired time.
5 SET THE COOKING TIME by turning the Timer Knob
clockwise to the desired time. The timer can be set up to
60 minutes. When the timer reaches the OFF position, a
bell sound will be heard, and the toaster oven will turn off
automatically.
The timer can be changed during the cooking cycle.
-You can stop the cooking cycle at any time by turning
the timer to the “OFF” position.
IMPORTANT: When setting the timer for less than 5
minutes, always rotate the timer past 5 minutes and
then switch back to your chosen time. This will ensure
a safe and accurate time.
NOTE: IN ORDER FOR THE OVEN TO START WORKING,
ALL 3 SETTINGS (FUNCTION, TEMPERATURE, AND
TIMER) MUST BE ADJUSTED!
6 After cooking is complete, turn all controls (knobs) to the
“OFF” position, open the oven door and remove the food.
Note: Always remove food with protective oven
gloves. The food and oven will be very hot.
CAUTION: The food may catch fire if the cooking lasts
for too long. Close supervision is necessary during
cooking.
-If you want to decrease the cooking time, first turn the
timer knob slightly clockwise so that it exceeds the
existing time, and then return it to the desired time by
turning the knob counter-clockwise.

COOKING FUNCTIONS
Broil This means that only the upper heating
elements will turn on.
Bake This means that only the lower heating
elements will turn on.
Toast This means that both the upper and
lower heating elements will turn on.
BROIL FUNCTION
• Place the Baking Rack in a higher position for faster broiling times. Place the rack in a
lower position for foods that require longer broiling times, like chicken.
• Always allow at least one inch between the food and the heating element.
• When broiling, you can place the Baking Rack on top of the Baking Pan.
• The Broil Function is ideal for fish, beef, chicken, steak, vegetables, etc., and can also
be used to top-brown casseroles and gratins.
Broiling tips:
• For best results, do not preheat the oven when broiling.
• When broiling, smoke will likely appear. Removing excess fat and oil prior to broiling
can reduce this. Always use the Baking Pan to catch drips.
4 Select the length of time you want to broil the food.
(only the upper heating elements will be ON).
1 Place the Baking Rack in the desired rack position, and then insert the Baking Pan with
food.
2 Select the desired temperature.
3 Set the Cooking-Function Knob to BROIL
This toaster oven offers three different cooking functions for versatile cooking.
9

• Use the Bake Function for foods such as less tender cuts of meat, soups, stews, for
baking cakes, cookies, pizza, bread, and more.
• Always allow at least one inch between the food and the heating element.
• For best results, preheat at least 5 minutes before beginning to bake.
Broiling tips:
TOAST FUNCTION
1 Place the Baking Rack in the desired rack position, and then insert the Baking Pan with
food, or place food directly on the Baking Rack
2 Select the desired temperature. For toast, select a

(both the upper and lower heating elements will be ON).
3 Set the Cooking-Function Knob to TOAST
temperature of 410ºF or higher.
• Use the Toast function for foods such as bread, corn, cookies, for heating food, and
more.
• To toast bagels, place the Baking Rack in the low position and place bagels cut side
facing down. This will toast the cut side more than the outside of the bagel.
Toasting tips:
• When toasting only two slices of bread, place bread towards the front of the oven to get
similar toasting on top and bottom.
• To toast English muffins, place the Baking Rack in the low position and place English
muffins with the split side facing down.
• When toasting, condensation may form on the oven door. A toaster oven is enclosed,
so moisture is slow to escape.
• Always allow at least one inch between the food and the heating element.
• To toast regular toaster pastries, frozen pastry, or waffles, place the Baking Rack in the
medium position and toast directly on the Baking Rack. If pastry has a glaze of frosting,
use the Baking Pan.
BAKE FUNCTION
2 Select the desired temperature.
3 Set the Cooking-Function Knob to BAKE
(only the lower heating elements will be ON).
1 Place the Baking Rack in the desired rack position, and then insert the Baking Pan with
food.
4 Select the length of time you want to bake the food.
10

COOKING TIPS
• Do not open the oven door too frequently to prevent heat loss.
• Cook food immediately after defrosting.
• When defrosting, remove all paper/ plastic wrappings or aluminum foil from the food
and place the food on the Baking Pan. Do not preheat the oven.
• Frozen foods and thick meat should be cooked for a longer time.
• Do not totally enclose foods in aluminum foil. Foil can insulate foods and slow down the
heating.
• To reheat rolls or biscuits, place on the Baking Pan and heat at 300ºF (150ºC) for 10
minutes.
• Reheat leftover roasts or casseroles at 350ºF (180ºC) for 20 to 30 minutes or until
heated through.
11

CLEANING AND STORAGE
• It is important that you clean the oven after each use to prevent an accumulation of
grease and crumbs and avoid unpleasant odors.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, metal pads, or chemical
cleaners for cleaning, as this will cause damage to the oven surface.
• To remove crumbs, slide out the Crumb Tray and discard crumbs. Wipe it clean and
put it back in the oven. To remove baked-on grease, soak the Crumb Tray in hot soapy
water with non-abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly. Never operate the oven without
the Crumb Tray in place.
• Wipe the glass door with a wet, soapy cloth.
• The pizza stone should be cleaned by rinsing with hot water. Do not use any soap or
detergent on the stone. And before heating the stone, let it air dry for at least 30 minutes
to avoid pizza sticking to the surface during the next use.
• Other than the recommended cleaning, no further maintenance should be necessary.
• DO NOT immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the toaster oven and allow it to cool down completely before maintenance and
cleaning.
• Handwash the Baking Rack, Baking Pan, Toast Tongs, and Crumb Tray in hot soapy
water or use a nylon scouring pad or nylon brush. To extend the life of your
accessories, we do not recommend that these be placed in the dishwasher.
• Wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. If a cleaning agent is
used, apply to a towel, not to the toaster oven, before cleaning.
• Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing it. If storing the toaster oven for
long periods of time, make sure that the toaster oven is clean and free of food particles.
Store the toaster oven in a dry location such as on a table, on a counter top, or
cupboard shelf.
• To clean interior walls, use a damp cloth and a mild liquid soap solution or a spray
solution on a sponge. Avoid cleaning the heating elements.
12

TROUBLESHOOTING
There is smoking or burnt
food odor when the oven
is being used.
Issue Potential solutions
Initial start-up operation may result in minimal smell and smoke (about
15 min.). This is normal. It is due to the protective substance on heating
elements, which protects them from salt effects during shipping.
If you use your toaster oven several times in a row, the additional items
may be browner because your toaster oven is already hot. Adjust the
toaster oven settings.
Smoke coming from inside of the oven often means that the Baking Pan
or interior of the oven is dirty or that there are remnants of food in the
Crumb Tray or on the walls of the oven. Refer to the “CLEANING AND
STORAGE” section of this manual.
Smoke almost always appears in broiling and is normal. Cut off excess
fat prior to broiling to reduce smoking.
Stop using the appliance if the smoke source is the power cord. Unplug
immediately.
The toaster oven will not
heat.
In order for the oven to start working, all 3 settings (function,
temperature, and timer) must be adjusted.
Check to make sure the power outlet is working.
Food is overcooked or
undercooked.
Use a different oven rack position for cooking the food.
Adjust oven temperature or cooking time. As your toaster oven is much
smaller than a regular oven, it may heat up faster and cook faster. Try
lowering the temperature approximately 25 degrees from the suggested
temperature in a recipe.
Moisture forms on the
inside of the oven door
when toasting.
This is normal when toasting in a toaster oven. Moisture is slower to
escape from the toaster oven than from a toaster. The amount of
moisture will differ between fresh bread, bagels, and frozen pastry.
Only one heating element
is heating up.
Cooking function setting selection determines which heating element
will operate. Refer to the “COOKING FUNCTIONS” section of this
manual.
