This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Ensure there is adequate ventilation of the room when
the hood is used at the same time as appliances
burning gas or other fuels. This is not applicable when
the hood extracts air outside of the house.
Do not flambé under the cooker hood.
The minimum distance between the supporting surface
for the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest
parts of the hood when the hood is located above a
gas appliance, this distance shall be at least 65cm. If
the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a
greater distance, this has to be taken into account.
Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to
be fulfilled.
This hood must be installed in accordance with this
instruction manual and all measurements must be
adhered to.
If the installation of the cooker hood is to be above a
gas appliance then the provision of ventilation must
be in accordance with the Building Regulations, the
latest edition of the Gas Safety Codes of Practice and
the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations, the

Building Standards (Scotland) (Consolidated) Regulations.
When drilling into walls to mount the hood ensure you do not
drill through any electrical wires or pipe work.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by
a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
We are sure that the purchase of this cooker hood will
fully satisfy all of your needs. Please read this instruction
manual carefully in order to obtain the best results from
the use of the curved cooker hood.
Before installing and using the hood, be sure that the
voltage (V) and the frequency (Hz) indicated on the
feature plate match the voltage and frequency at the
installation site. The feature plate and technical data
are shown on the inside of the product.
The hood is equipped with an extendable duct which
allows it to be adjusted to the height of the stove.
