Notice
1.1 In order to use this product better and safer, please read this instruction
carefully before installation and operation. Please pay attention to all the
notices for operation and maintenance. Keep the manual for future
reference.
1.2 Air to water heat pump is a special appliance. Improper installation will cause
damage and danger. It should be installed and maintained by the professionals.
Please contact authorized local service point for installation and maintenance.
Please read and follow this instruction carefully before and during installation.
Remarks:
Wewill not bear the responsibility for any personal injury or unit damage caused
bynon-compliance of the regulations and instructions in this manual.
1.3 Please check whether the distribution power capacity, switch and socket
are in compliance with the requirements of the unit power. For details please
refer to the rating label or parameter table in this manual.
1.4 The power should be equipped with leakage protection separately.
Power cable should be chosen in accordance with the operation
requirements of the unit.
1.5 The unit must be grounded safely. Do not use the unit if grounded unsafely.
Do not connect the ground line to the neutral and or tap water pipe.
1.6 The wire must be joined in compliance with the requirements of the wiring chart.
Do not replace or repair the unit personally.
1.7 Do not install the unit close to inflammable, explosive and naked light spot.
1.8 To ensure the unit operate properly, please equipped with a filter in the water
input when installation.

II. Installation
1. Unit installation position
To avoid poorventilation, the unit airdischarge should not beblockedwhen installation.
Please keep enough space around the unit for future maintenance. Right and wrong
installations are as below:

1. To getenough air for ventilation of the unit, the installation position should be with good
ventilation.
2. Ensure the installation position can hold the unit without noise and shake.
3. Ensure no direct sunlight to the unit. Set an awning if necessary.
4. Ensure rain and defrosting water can be discharged in the installation position.
5. Ensure the unit will not be covered by snow in the installation position.
6. Ensure the discharged air will not face strong air in the installation position.
7. Ensure the noise caused by the unit ventilation and operation will not affect the
neighbor.
8. Ensure the installation position will not be affected by garbage, oil and mist.
9. The unit will be damaged under the condition with oil(engine oil), salt(sea area)
and sulfide air(near thermal spring and refining factory).

2. Positioning Your Swimming Pool Heat Pump
2.1 For correct operation air must be free to circulate around the heat pump. Do not place the unit
in ashed, greenhouse or any other similar place. This unit is designed for outdoor use only.
2.2 Refer to the drawing below for required clearance.
2.3 You should position the heat pump correctlyso that the control panel does not face directly
towards the sun.
2.4 Theheat pump must be upright.
2.5 The distance between the heat pump and the pool / plant room should be as short as practically
possible to reduce pressure and heat loss in the pipe work.
2.6 Insulating the pipe work will assist with the prevention of heat losses.
2.7 An isolator switch should be installed (by a qualified electrician) near the heat pump.
2.8 The electrical supply to the heat pump must be protected by a 30mARCD.
2.9 The air inlets and outlets must not be obstructed or blocked.
2.10 Even though the heat pump is low noise, it must be positioned so as to be considerate to
neighbors.
2.11 Your heat pump must be placed on a solid base.
2.12 Condensate water will drip from the bottom of the heat pump; your base must be able to
withstand this.

3. Connecting Your Swimming Pool Pipe Work
3.1 The pool water is fed through the heat pump by a swimming pool pump.
3.2 The heat pump must be installed after (downstream) the swimming pool filter so clean,
filtered water passes through it.
3.3 Double union ball valves must be fitted just before the heat pump inlet and just after
the outlet to aid servicing and winterizing.
3.4 Each heat pump has a maximum water flow rate. If the flow through the pool pump is
higher than this then a by-pass should be installed. Consult your supplying dealer.
3.5 Each heat pump also has a minimum flow rate; the heat pump will not operate with
flow rate lower than that. Consult your supplying dealer.
3.6 Pipe work smaller than 1-1/2”diameter should not be used.

3.7 Fit a union nut onto each pipe.
3.8 Push the gasket over the pipe until the gasket is about 5 -10mm from the edge of the
pipe. You may need to lubricate the gasket.
3.9 Insert the pipe into the heat pump and tighten the union nut.
3.10 The union must only be hand tightened.
3.11If the swimming pool is equipped with a chlorinator, brominator, or possibly chemical
control with acid and chlorine pumps, these must be in the return pipe work after the
heat pump and a non-return valve used. Any dosing system must be the final equipment
before the water returns to the swimming pool. Damage caused to the heat pump by
chemical dosing units is not covered by warranty.
3.12 Any heat exchanger or electric heater fitted as auxiliary heating must be installed
after (downstream from) the heat pump so as to avoid pre-heating the pool water before
it enters the heat pump.

4. Electric wiring
4.1 Unit supply cable must be copper. Power supply voltage should be in line with the
rated voltage and the rated current.
4.2 The unit power supply circuit must have a grounding wire, and the power supply
ground wire must be connected to the effective external grounding wire.
4.3 Wiring installation must be installed by professionals carried out in accordance with
the circuit.
4.4 Setting up a good leakage protection device in accordance with the relevant national
technical standards.
4.5 power line and signal line layout should be neat, rational. Ensure to separate the
strong and weak cables without interference with each other, and without contact with
any connection pipes or valves.
4.6 Unit electric wire connection: connect to the appropriate terminals according to the
wiring diagram, and fix them by the pressure line of board in the electric box.
4.7 After all wiring constructions are complete; carefully check the correct order to
connect the power.

III. WIFI remote control
This part is for unit with WIFI control only
1. Control the unit through WIFI signal
2. The binding operation for the unit and mobile phone.
2. 1 Download the software with QR code below.
The android version The IOS version
2. 2 Connect the mobile to mobile suite (e.g. 360 Mobile Suite) to install the software
or click on the downloaded APK directly to install the software. If it is not installed
succefully, please check the security settings of your mobile to see if it allows to
install unknown apps. If not, please set it to be allowed.
Open “Unknown sources”
2. 3 Launch the Software. After finish installation, click on the desktop icon “Pool
Device” to launch the software.
2. 4 User registration. For the first time to use "Pool Device", it require users to register.
Click on "Register" to enter
registration interface.

2. 5 Chinese users can select to register "by mobile phone" or "by email ". For other users,
please select “Form of Registration” and operate to register according to instructions on the
interface. IOS user register account only by email.

2. 6 User login. After registration, the software will skip to login interface, enter
correct “Username” and “Password” to login.

2. 7 Device binding.The software will prompt to bind the device for the first time to
login, steps to bind the device are as follows:
2. 7.1 Mobile needs to be connected to internet through wifi during device binding.

2. 7.2 After login the software, it will enter “configure device” interface if water heater has
not been bound. Click “AP Mode” to enter “bind pool device” interface.
2. 7.3 Long press button and button at the same time till a sound “beep” is heard,
then there’s symbol “h” fast flickers on the display controller, which means the heat
pump enter WIFI matching state.

2. 7.4 For android, the software will search for the Wifi network name of the pool heater
device after entering “bind pool device” interface. If the Wifi network name of pool
heater is not shown, please repeat Step 2.7.3, and drag and slide down on the interface,
the software will search the Wifi network name again.

2. 7.5 Click on the Wifi network name of the water heater, it will skip to server validation
interface after enter WLAN network name and password of the connected internet.
And next skip to user login interface after successful validation. If connect with WIFI
is not successful, repeat step 2.7.3~2.7.5, and try again.

2. 7.6 For IOS, after chosing AP mode, it will appear below interface, then back to setting
interface on the phone, and select the WIFI signal on controller. Then enter WIFI
password at your home and then confirm, WIFI will automatic configurated well.

2. 8 “Pool Device” Operation Interface Introduction
After successful device binding, login the software to enter “Pool Device” operation
interface. Click on “Heater” icon to enter “Heater” operation interface.
Click on the “SWITCH” icon to turn
ON and OFF the Pool Device.

Timing button: short press this button once to enter the timing setting interface,
adjust to modify the timing group 1, 2, 3, 4 by "Increasing" and "Decreasing" button
during the timing setting. Long press this button to enter the clock-modifying interface.
Function button: short press this button once, enter to check the unit running status.
Long press this button to enter the users’ parameter-modifying interface.
Increasing button: short press this button once to increase the current setting value.
Long press this button to keep increasing the current setting value.
Decreasing button: short press this button once to decrease the current setting value.
Long press this button to keep decreasing the current setting value.
Unit ON/OFF button: normally, long press this button to turn on or off the unit. When
keyboard is locked, long press this button to unlock the keyboard.

2. Operation of wired controller
2.1 Keyboard lock/unlock
If there's no operation within 1 minute, the controller will switch to lock automatically.
Please long press for 5s to unlock.

Under the stand-by mode, press for 1s to turn on the unit, the current mode would be shown on
the wire controller, the unit would run under such mode. Press again to turn off the unit.

2.3Set temperature adjustment
Under the heating mode, press or to adjust the set temperature for heating.
2.4 Timesetting
Underthe maininterface, press for once, theclocksettingwouldflicker,thenshortpress
once, thehoursettingwouldflicker,press or toadjusthour.Afterthat,short press
once,theminutesettingwould flicker,press or toadjustminute.Thenshortpress once to
finishtimesetting.
2.5 Unit timing ON/OFF setting
Press 5 second, "1" on the controller would flicker, press or to select "1" or "2".
"1" is timing ON/OFF of phase 1, and "2" is timing ON/OFF of phase 2. The flickers of
icon refer to your selection. Then short press once, and hour will keep flashing,
press or to adjust hour of timing ON, then short press once, the minute will keep
flashing, press or to adjust minute of timing ON. And then short press once,
and hour will keep flashing, press or to adjust the hour of timing OFF, then short
press once, the minute will keep flashing, press or to adjust minute of timing
OFF. After all those settings above, short press once, the flashing of and refer to
the finish of one group of timing setting. Press or to continue setting other timing
groups. Press to quit timing setting if no need for other timing groups.

2.6Cancel unit timing ON/OFF setting
For example, if the timing 2 is needed to be canceled, short press once, the "1" on
the wired controller will flicker, press or to select "2" (timing ON/OFF of phase 2),
the flicker of the icon refers to the selection, then long press , the number "3", and
will disappear which refer to the cancel of timing 2.

2.8 Open/close energy saving mode
Pressthe and for3seconds atthesametime to enter theenergysaving mode.Openthe energy saving, the light up of on the
maininterface meansyouhave enter theenergysavingmode. Each mode hasitsuniqueenergysavingplan specifiedasbelow:
Cooling mode of energy saving scheme
When the ambient temperature is 32 ℃or higher, set the water temperature to 8 ℃.
When the ambient temperature is 27 ℃~ 30 ℃, set the water temperature to 10 ℃.
When the ambient temperature is 25 ℃or lower, set the water temperature to 12 ℃.
Heating mode of energy saving scheme.
There are two kinds of energy-saving solution for this mode, it is determined by the user parameter L6 setting.
When parameter L6 is selected to be 0, it’s curve heating energy saving solutions; when the parameters of L6 is
selected to be 1, it is the adjust water temperature accordingto thesetting period.

Curve heating energy saving scheme
This scheme is designed to adjust the inlet water temperature
according to the ambient temperature and the setting curve. 45

figure (slope 40, translation of 10). Users can check the current inlet

Variable water temperature settings in different time period
In certainperiods of time, heating demand isless, andincertain periods of time, heatingdemandis
larger.Thisscheme is very suitable for in such circumstance. It can divide 1 day into 4 periods
according to user’s actual demand, and different inlet water temperature can be set for 4 different
periods. Parameter L9 to Parameter L12 are for time period settings, and Parameter L13 is the
inlet water temperature setting for L9 period, L14 is the is the inlet water temperature setting for
L10 period, L15 is the inlet water temperature setting for L11 period, L16 is the inlet water
temperature setting for L12 period.
Factory settings are as follows:
Parameter L9 period 1 is set to 23:00, andL13 inletwatertemp.isset to 35 ℃.
Parameters L10period2isset to 18:00, L14 inletwatertemp.isset to 42 ℃.
Parameters L11period3is set to 9:00, L15 inletwatertemp.isset to 30 ℃.
Parameters L12period4is set to 17:00, L16 inletwatertemp.isset to 40 ℃.
So when the time of controller is 23:00, it will set inletwater temperature to 35 ℃
automatically, when the time is 18:00, it will set inletwater temperature to 42 ℃automatically,
when the time is 9:00, it will set inletwater temperature to 30 ℃automatically, when the time is
17:00, it will set inlet water temperature to 40℃automatically. Control result can be expressed
in a graph:

according to the temperature adjustedon the main interface by and .
3. Check the unit running status
Short press once to enter the unit running state interface, press or to shift
among parameters of every running status. The specific meaning of each running status
parameters as follows:

4. Modify users’ parameters
Long press for 3s to enter the users’ parameter interface, press or to shift
among parameters. Short press once to modify the selected parameter. Press or
to adjust the parameter, short press again to confirm the adjustment. The specific
meanings of each user parameter are as follows:
