Do not attempt to use this product until you have read and understood
these instructions.
• If you are below the age of 18 your parent/guardian should read
these instructions and only with their consent and under their
correct guidance and supervision should you operate this product.
• The use of this product may expose the user to unavoidable and
unexpected risks, injuries, dangers and hazards. The suppliers and
manufacturers of this product are not responsible for any damage
to property or personal injury caused by any use, misuse, abuse or
irresponsible use of this product. Improper or unreasonable use of
this kite may result in death or serious injury to you or others.
• You should only use your kite in an appropriate flying location
and in appropriate flying conditions. Do not use your kite near
people or obstacles like power lines, airports, buildings, cliffs,
chair lifts, vehicles, trees, roads or fences. Always observe weather
patterns and conditions, particularly where you may encounter
offshore, onshore or strong winds, strong currents, large waves or
avalanches.
• Kiteboarding must be taken seriously and we recommend that
you seek the guidance of professional instructors and experienced
kiters before setting out, particularly if you are new to the sport.
• Take the time to understand and become familiar with your kite
and remember that you are responsible for its operation and for
the safety and security of those around you. Ensure you only kite
in conditions that you are comfortable with and do not attempt to
fly at an advanced level until you have put the practice in.
• When flying Mutiny Kites you should always use the appropriate
protective equipment and floatation devices. Ensure you have
tested and understood your safety and quick release systems as
these could save your life. NEVER permanently attach yourself to
the kite or any kind of anchor.
Kiteboarding is an extremely diverse sport with many different disciplines
each with their own inherent risks of injury or death. Participation in
kiteboarding activities or the use of kiteboarding equipment implies the
users accept the risks and observe the safety guidelines of the sport.
The following contains key points that we advise when operating your
Mutiny kite. This is not an exhaustive list and you should ensure that you
fly within your ability levels and in the appropriate conditions at all times.
• Children should ALWAYS be under adult supervision
• It is strongly recommended that beginners take lessons from a
professional, suitably qualified instructor before using this product.
• ALWAYS inspect your equipment for signs of wear and tear before
you use it. In particular, but not exclusively, lines, canopy
material, bladders, screws and fittings. If any part shows wear it
should be replaced before you use your product. If you require
support with your product then you should contact your local
retailer or Mutiny via the www.mutinykites.com website.
• Repairs or replacements to your Mutiny product should only be
completed using genuine mutiny parts or those parts supplied by
an authorised Mutiny repairer.
• Do not alter, modify or change your product in any way other than
those advised by Mutiny kites.
• Ensure you familiarise yourself with any new location before going
kiting.
• Observe any and all posted signs and warnings.
• Keep out of closed or restricted flying areas.
• NEVER use this kite in the vicinity of power lines, lift lines, trees
or other hazards.
