Important Safety Precautions
When using your Rift Bluetooth Speaker, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR SPEAKER.
2. Do not use your speaker near water. Clean using a soft cloth or paper towel.
3. Do not place your speaker on any wet surfaces.
4. Do not allow children or the infirm to play with your speaker without adult supervision.
5. Do not expose your speaker to excessive heat, flames or fire.
6. Always press all buttons or switches carefully. Do not manhandle your speaker.
7. Do not use in extremely dry environments, as this can lead to static discharge during usage.
8. Do not expose your speaker to temperatures above 40°C. Keep out of direct sunlight.
9. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Contact a qualified service center if your speaker is in need of service.
10. Do not drop, puncture or expose your speaker to excessive trauma.
11. Your speaker is not intended for commercial use.
12. Unplug your speaker when not in use for long periods of time or during lightning storms.
BATTERY WARNING:
-The device is equipped with an integrated lithium battery. The battery cannot be
replaced. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device.
-Do not dispose of in fire or expose to excessive heat.
-Do not crush, puncture, incinerate, or short circuit external contacts.
-Please recycle or dispose of the battery properly. Contact your local recycling facilities
and/or the manufacturer for further information.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Muze Rift Bluetooth Speaker, item MUZ5011. You can use your speaker with most smartphones and
Bluetooth devices to stream music wirelessly. Your speaker can also be separated with each side capable of being attached
magnetically to metal surfaces. In order to get the best results, please read this manual first before using your speaker.

Charging Your Speaker
(red) = Charging

NOTES:
--Charging can take approximately 1.5 hours to complete when the battery is
fully drained.
--Remove the charging cable once charging is complete.
--Overcharging could reduce the life of the battery.
--A charged battery will lose its capacity if it is not used on a regular
basis.
Important: To avoid a complete discharge of the battery, charge your
speaker at least once every six months.
1. The included Micro USB charging cable has a
Micro USB plug and a standard USB plug.
2. Insert the Micro USB charging cable’s Micro USB
plug into one of the Charging Ports on your speaker
to charge that side of the speaker. Use a second
charging cable (not included) to charge both sides
of your speaker simultaneously.

3. Insert the Micro USB charging cable’s
standard USB plug into the USB port of a
computer or suitable USB charging adapter.
4. The Charging Indicator Lights turn red while the corresponding
side of the speaker is charging then turn off once charging is
complete.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING
1. Your speaker has two sides which can be
separated from each other. Press and hold the
power button on the side which you would like to
listen to in order to power it on.
2. The LED Indicator Light will turn blue and
flash rapidly to indicate that your speaker is in
pairing mode.
3. Go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your
phone. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
Connect to the device listed as “MUZ5011.”
4. The LED Indicator Light will remain blue and flash slowly to indicate
that your speaker is paired with your phone.

5. Once you have paired one side of your speaker to your phone, you can
power on the other side. After a few moments, it will emit a tone indicating
that both sides of the speaker are paired together, and they will both
simultaneoulsy play music from your phone.

1. Press and hold the power buttons on each side
of the speaker to power on or power off that side.
2. Press the Play/Pause Button on either side of
the speaker to play a track. Press it again to pause
a track.
3. Tap the + Button on either side of the speaker
to advance to the next track in a playlist. Tap the
- Button on either side to return to the last track
in a playlist.

side of the speaker to reject an incoming call.
4. Press and hold the + Button on either side of the
speaker to increase the volume. Press and hold the
- Button on either side to decrease the volume.

speaker to answer an incoming call or end a call.

Maintenance and Care
-Use a soft cloth or paper towel to clean your speaker. Never use any harsh chemicals or detergents for cleaning. Make sure your
speaker is dry before charging.
-When your speaker is not in use, it should be stored in a cool, dry place.
-Never tug or yank on the USB cable while it is connected to your speaker. Connect and disconnect cables as carefully as
possible.
-Never expose your speaker to high temperatures, or extreme cold.
-Please recycle or dispose of your speaker properly based on the laws and rules of your municipality. Contact local recycling
facilities and/or the manufacturer of your speaker for further information.

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable.
This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship.
Your product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.
What Is Not Covered by Warranty
Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship and damages or malfunctions from other than
normal use, including but limited to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification or accident.

To receive warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized product service center, the original consumer
purchaser must contact us for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or
receipted invoice, evidencing that the product is within the applicable warranty period(s), MUST be presented in order to obtain
the requested service. It is your responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of
proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at your
expense. Do not include any other items or accessories with the defective product. Any products received by the authorized
service center that are not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.
