Important Information About List of Parts
Also covered by the two emissions warranties are all emissions-
related bulbs, hoses, clamps, brackets, tubes, gaskets, seals, belts,
connectors, fuel lines, sensors, and wiring harnesses that are used
with components on the list of parts above.
Concerning parts that should be replaced on a certain mainte-
nance schedule, these parts remain under warranty until:
(a) the rst replacement time that is specied in the Scheduled
Maintenance section of your Owner’s Manual; or
(b) the time or mileage limits of the Federal Defect and Per-
formance Warranties (whichever occurs rst). Your authorized
MV-1 service center maintains a complete list of parts covered
by emissions warranties. For more details about the specic parts
covered by the Emissions Defect Warranty, contact your autho-
rized MV-1 service center.
Mobility Ventures strongly recommends that you have your ve-
hicle serviced by an authorized MV-1 service center, and that
genuine Mobility Ventures parts be used.
The installation and use of defective, non-equivalent, or uncerti-
ed emissions-related parts may reduce the effectiveness of your
vehicle’s emissions control system and result in denial of war-
ranty claims.
Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control
devices and systems may be performed by any automotive
repair establishment or individual using certied parts. UN-
LESS OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED, WARRANTY SER-
VICE OF ALL OTHER PARTS MUST BE PERFORMED
BY AN AUTHORIZED MV-1 SERVICE CENTER.
What is Not Covered by the Federal
Emissions Performance Warranty?
Mobility Ventures may deny you emissions warranty coverage
if your vehicle or a part does not contain an emissions-related
defect or has failed because of abuse, neglect, improper mainte-
nance, unapproved modications, or any items included in Items
Not Covered by Warranty on page 6.
Making a Claim under the Federal Emission Perfor-
mance Warranty:
A claim under the Federal Emission Performance Warranty may
be raised immediately upon the failure of an EPA-approved emis-
sion test. To obtain service or repairs under the Federal Emis-
sions Warranties, you should return your vehicle to an authorized
MV-1 service center during its normal operating hours. Warranty
service, adjustments, repairs, and replacements (including parts,
labor, and diagnosis) will be performed at no charge to you.

Warranty
10
If your Federal Emissions Warranty claim is denied, Mobility
Ventures will provide you with a written explanation of reasons
within the shorter of (1) 30 days from the date of presentment to
the authorized MV-1 service center, or (2) the time required by
law for your vehicle to be repaired without incurring further pen-
alty. If Mobility Ventures does not provide an explanation within
the appropriate time, it will remedy the vehicle’s nonconformity
free of charge unless (1) delay was requested by the vehicle’s
owner or (2) the delay was caused by events or factors beyond
the control of Mobility Ventures or the authorized MV-1 service
center.
You may obtain further information concerning your vehicle’s
emissions performance warranty, or report a violation of the
terms of the warranty, by contacting the Director, Field Opera-
tions and Support Division (6406J), Environmental Protection
Agency, 401 “M” Street, SW., Washington, DC 20460 (Atten-
tion: Warranty Claim).

the required maintenance listed in your owner’s manual. Mobility
Ventures recommends that you retain all receipts covering main-

ranty coverage solely for the lack of receipts or for your failure to
ensure the performance of all scheduled maintenance.
You are responsible for presenting your vehicle to a Mobility
Ventures service center as soon as a problem exists. The warran-
ty repairs should be completed in a reasonable amount of time,
not to exceed 30 days. As the vehicle owner, you should also be
aware that Mobility Ventures may deny you warranty coverage if
your vehicle or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper
maintenance, or unapproved modications.

have a problem with your vehicle, please follow these steps:
Step 1

issues are resolved at this level. If the service center sales or ser-
vice department or the general manager does not address your
issue to your satisfaction, then:
Step 2
Contact MV-1 Customer Assistance at 877-MV1-FORU (877-
1, please provide the following information:

Step 3
If we are unable to resolve the problem, you may le a claim with
the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Auto Line Program. This is
an out of court program to settle automotive disputes involving
vehicle repairs or coverage under the New Vehicle Limited War-
ranty. This program is free of charge to you and consists of two
parts, mediation and arbitration. With mediation the BBB staff
will facilitate negotiation between the parties to try and reach a
mutually acceptable resolution. If the mediation is unsuccessful
or you do not agree to mediate, you may request arbitration. This
will involve an impartial third-party arbitrator rendering a deci-
sion after an informal hearing process.
The BBB claims resolution process normally results in a decision
within 40 days from the time a claim is led. The decision is not
binding on you and, if you do not agree with it, you may pursue
other avenues of relief. Note, however, that you are required to
use the BBB arbitration mechanism before exercising rights or
seeking remedies under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty
Act or under the warranty enforcement laws (“lemon laws”) of
some states.
You may contact the BBB AUTO LINE at:

When you contact the BBB AUTO LINE, you should be prepared
to provide the following information:
• Your name and address

Notice to California Purchasers
Mobility Ventures participates in the Better Business Bureau
(BBB) AUTO LINE Program. This is an out of court program to
settle automotive disputes involving vehicle repairs or coverage
under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Mobility Ventures and
BBB AUTO LINE have been certied by the Arbitration Certi-
cation Program of the California Department of Consumer Af-
fairs.
If we are unable to resolve your problem, you may le a claim
with the BBB AUTO LINE. To le a claim, you will be asked to
provide your name and address; the brand and Vehicle Identica-
tion Number of your vehicle; the approximate date you acquired
the vehicle; the vehicle’s current mileage; the approximate date
and mileage when the problem was rst brought to the attention
of Mobility Ventures or an authorized Mobility Ventures service
center; a description of the problem; and a statement of the relief
you are seeking.
The BBB AUTO LINE program is free of charge to you and con-
sists of two parts, mediation and arbitration. With mediation the
BBB staff will facilitate negotiation between the parties to try to
reach a mutually acceptable resolution. If the mediation is unsuc-
cessful or you do not agree to mediate, you may request arbitra-
tion. This will involve an impartial third-party arbitrator render-
ing a decision after an informal hearing process.
The BBB claims resolution process normally results in a decision
within 40 days from the time a claim is led. There may be a
delay of 7 days if you did not rst contact Mobility Ventures LLC
about your problem, or up to 30 days if the arbitrator requests
an inspection/report by an impartial technical expert or further
investigation and report by BBB AUTO LINE.
The arbitrator’s decision is not binding on you, and, if you do not
agree with it, you may pursue other avenues of relief. However,
you are required to use the BBB AUTO LINE before asserting in
