Description of the buttons and ports
USB port: It’s used to connect the camera to the PC to transmit photos and
videos, or to connect the external power supply to charge the battery of the camera.
Mode button: This button allows you to switch between recording mode,
camera mode, video playback, and photo browsing mode.
SD card slot: It allows you to put your SD card into the camera.
Speaker: Plays the sound of a video you captured.
Microphone: Records the sound while you’re recording a video.
Power button: Turning the camera On/Off and serves as an indicator while the
camera is charging.
Camera shutter button: The camera takes a photo if it’s in the photo mode, or
starts recording if it’s in a recording mode. If you open the menu, it serves as a
confirmation button.
Menu button: Short press it to open the settings menu. Press it again to exit
the menu.
Up and Down buttons: Use these buttons to go through the menu.
Basic operations
Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button to turn the camera On. The
blue indicator will light up to indicate that the camera is on. To turn it Off, press the
power button again and the bluet indicator will go off, too.
Recording mode: Short press the Mode button to switch to the recording
mode and the camera resolution and icon will appear in the top right corner. To start
recording, short press the Camera shutter button, and the recording indicator will
start flashing.
Photo mode: Short press the Mode button to switch to the photo mode and
the camera resolution and icon will appear in the top right corner. To take a picture,
short press the Camera shutter button, and the indicator will flash once indicating
that the picture is taken.
Video/Photo playback: Short press the Mode button to switch to the playback
mode, and the playback icon will appear in the top right corner. Use the Up and
Down buttons to choose the file you want to preview.
Menu settings: Short press the Menu button to enter the menu settings. Use
the Up and Down buttons to cycle through the menu. To select the setting that you
want to change press the Camera shutter button. Short press the Menu button again
to exit the settings.
