This machine conforms to Doepfer A-100 series standard (commonly known as Eurorack).
It is able to use 5V from the eurorack-16pin connector, also it can be supplied from the USB
port and play as a standalone synthesizer.
Current consumption is 170mA@5V. In case of insufficient electric power, be careful of the
maximum supply current of your power supply module as it may cause trouble.

4.Overview of synthesis
This machiine has a 4 channel sound generator, it can play 4 different sounds at the
same time. Tone parameters can be set independently for each channel.
The synthesizing architecture of this machine consists mainly of six sections. The main
oscillator and the amplifier / EG connected immediately after it form the foundation of
the sound character. In MODULATOR section which is a sub oscillator, the main
oscillator is modulated by either method of FM / AM. BEND section controls the time
variation of the main oscillator pitch. The NOISE generator can mix it's sound
into the filter without sense of tone interval. In the Filter section you can adjust the
sound quality, add resonance and finish it into a unique synth sound.

12.Updating Firmware
●Using SWD Interface
The easiest way to update is using SWD interface. LD4 has pins dedicated to SWD
communication. However, this method requires a SWD Programmer like ST-LINK/V2.
We recommend STM32CubeProgrammer as writing application.
●Using DFU mode
When booted by DFU Mode, this machine is able to be written a firmware directly via
USB port without any special programmer/debugger. Firstly, to change boot mode,
remove the jumper cap from “BOOTMODE” pins.
We recommend STM32CubeProgrammer as writing application.
Then connet a USB cable between LD4 and your PC. and operate
STM32CubeProgrammer. The operation details are refer to the user manual of
STM32CubeProgrammer. After the writing succeeds, Donʼ t forget insert the jumper cap
to the “BOOTMODE” pins. Then push the reset switch and it will restarts the new
system.
