Introduction
Read and understand all instructions. Save these instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury. The term ‘power tool’ in all of the warnings below refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool.
Know Your Lawn Mower
Read this manual carefully, observing the recommended safety instructions before, during and after using your lawn mower. Following these simple
instructions will also maintain your lawn mower in good working order. Familiarize yourself with the controls on your mower before attempting to
operate it, but above all, be sure you know how to stop your mower in an emergency. Retain this user manual and all other literature with your mower for
future reference.

Keep bystanders away.
Beware of sharp blades. Blades continue to rotate
after the motor is switched off.

General Safety Rules
The purpose of the safety rules is to attract your attention to possible dangers. The safety symbols and the explanations with them, require your careful
attention and understanding. The safety warnings do not by themselves eliminate any danger. The instruction or warnings they give are not substitutes for
proper accident prevention measures.
WARNING: Failure to obey a safety warning can result in serious injury to yourself or to others. Always follow the safety precautions to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Save owners manual and review frequently for continuing safe operation and
instructing others who may use this tool.
WARNING: This machine produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This field may under some circumstances interfere with active or
passive medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend persons with medical implants to consult their physician
and the medical implant manufacturer before operating this machine.
WARNING: The operation of any tool can result in foreign objects being thrown into your eyes, which can result in eyes severely damaged.
Before beginning power tool operation, always wears safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields and a full face shield when needed. We
recommend Wide Vision Safety Mask for use over eyeglasses or standard safety glasses with side shield.

1) Read the instrucons carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment.
2) Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the lawnmower. Local regulations can restrict the
age of the operator
3) Never mow while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
4) Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
5) While mowing, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the equipment when barefoot or
wearing open sandals; Avoid wearing clothing that is loose fitting or that has hanging cords or ties.
6) Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which can be thrown by the
machine.
7) Before using, always visually inspect to see that the blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not worn or damaged.
Replace worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance. Replace damaged or unreadable labels.
8) Before use check the supply and extension cord for signs of damage or worn. If the cord becomes damaged during use,
disconnect the cord from the supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE SUPPLY. Do not use the appliance if the cord
is damaged or worn.
9) mow only in daylight or in good artificial light.
10) avoid operating the equipment in wet grass, where feasible.
11) Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
12) Walk, never run.
13) For wheeled rotary machines; mow across the face of slopes, never up and down.
14) exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
15) Do not mow excessively steep slopes.
16) Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the lawnmower towards you.
17) Stop the blades if the lawn mower has to be tilted for transportation when crossing surfaces other than grass, and when
transporting the lawn mower to and from the area to be mowed;
18) Never operate the lawnmower with defective guards, or without safety devices, for example deflectors and/or grass
catchers, in place.
19) Start or switch on the motor carefully according to instructions and with feet well away from the blades.
20) Do not tilt the lawnmower when starting switching on the motor, except if the lawnmower has to be tilted for starting. In
this case, do not tile it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is away from the operator.
21) Do not start the motor when standing in front of the discharge chute.
22) Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts, Keep clear of the discharge opening at all times
23) Never pick up or carry a lawnmower while the motor is running;
24) Stop the motor and disconnect the plug. Make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
- Whenever you leave the machine:
- Before clearing blockages or unclogging chute.
- Before checking, cleaning or working on the lawnmower. After striking a foreign abject. Inspect the lawnmower for damage

and make repairs before restarting and operating the lawnmower. If lawnmower
starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately):
- Inspect for damage.
- Replace or repair any damage parts. - Check
for and tighten any loose parts.
25) Stop the mower:
- Whenever you leave the lawnmower:
26) keep all nuts, blots and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition;
27) check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration;

33) To disconnect the supply (i.e. pulling the plug from the socket):
- Whenever leaving the machine unattended.
- Before clearing a blockage.
- Before checking, cleaning or working on the machine. - After
striking a foreign object.
- Whenever the machine starts vibrating abnormally.
34) Children are not allowed to use the machine.
35) This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
36) If the external flexible cable or cord is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent
or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard (not light than H05VV-F 2x1.0mm2)

Intended Use
This machine was designed and manufactured for mowing lawns, according to its cung capacity.
This machine is intended for use by non professional operators (not professionals).
The machine is intended for domesc use only.
Before Each Use
• Before each use, you must ensure that the lawnmower is in a safe working condion. Inspect the blade and check all the safety devices and aachments as
well as all the nuts, bolts and screws to make sure that they have been placed with safety.
• When selecng an extension lead make sure that the extension lead is designed for outdoor use. Always choose an approved cable extension suitable for
the power rang of this tool. In case of using a cable reel, always completely unwind the cable from the reel. It is recommended that the mower must be
connected to a Residual Current Device (RCD).
Assembly instrucons and main adjustments
Some parts of the lawnmower have been dismantled for transport purpose. 2 Knobs, 2 Square bolts and 2 Limit wire clip are to be found in plasc bags.
Grass lead board,Collect grass assembly,Bracket and Grass box’s cover are in the box Assembly is simple if you follow these instrucons:
Fing/Removing/Emptying Grass collector bag
Insert the handle into the Grass box’s cover (Fig.2-1).
Assemble the le part and the right part of the Grass box together (Fig.2-2).
Insert the Grass box’s cover into the Grass box, then turn around (Fig.2-3).
Hook the Grass box’s cover and the Grass box (Fig.2-4).
Insert Grass lead board into the Grass box (Fig.2-5).
Li the guard (9) and hold up, t the grass-box (16) (Fig.2-9).

For non grass collecon the mower can be used without the grass-box (8) in posion, with the deector guard (9) in the down posion.
Handle
Rotate the tube (8) and lock the knob (15) (one on each side) (Fig.2-6 and Fig.2-7).
Note: The tube (8) height is adjustable. Fix handles in desired posion.
Aach the handle top (1) with bolts and wing nuts (7) to handle boom (8) (Fig.2-8).
Note: for storage purposes, the handle is foldable.

Tips for mowing
Start mowing as close as possible to the power socket.
Always keep the extension lead on the secon of lawn than has already been mown.
Maintain a constant cung height of 3 - 5 cm; do not shorten the grass to less than half its original height.
Do not overload the lawnmower! If the motor speed drops percepbly due to long, heavy grass, increase the cung height and mow several mes.
Mow in the morning or late aernoon to prevent the freshly cut grass from drying out.
During phases of strong growth, mow twice weekly; in periods of low rainfall, increase intervals between mowing accordingly.

Extension cable / cable restraint (Fig.13)
Connect the female socket of the cable to the male socket of the mower. To avoid disconnecon of the cable during operaon, you have to pull it through the
cable restraint.

Connect the male plug of the cable to the mains power supply (230 -240V – 50Hz).
Ensure that sucient cable slack is available.
Starng/stopping your lawnmower (Fig.14)
Starng:
ATTENTION! Beer to press the hand and make the front of your lawnmower up when you turn on it or else it may cause re.
Press and hold safety buon (4) (see Fig.2-11) then squeeze the switch lever (2) towards the handle (see Fig.2-12).
Release the safety buon (4).
Stopping:
Release the switch lever
ATTENTION : Aer switching o ,the cung blade will go on turning for a few seconds, make sure the blade has come to a complete sllness.

Maintenance Instrucons
IMPORTANT - Roune and accurate maintenance is essenal for maintaining original machine safety and performance levels.
Always stop the motor and unplug from the mains power before doing any repairs or maintenance.
Only use original spare parts: The use of non-original and/or incorrectly ed parts will jeopardize the safety of the machine, may cause accidents or injuries
for which the Manufacturer is under no circumstance liable or responsible.
1. Wear strong protecve gloves before cleaning, maintaining or making adjustments to the machine.
2. You must remove grass and mud from the chassis to prevent it from drying. This will cause problems the next me the lawn mower is used.
3. Paint on internal chassis parts may start to ake over me due to abrasive acon of cut grass. If this happens, you should touch-up with rust-proof paint to
prevent rusng that could corrode the metal. You can also use alight oil or silicone spray to prevent rust.
4. Lubricate the wheel bearings with a suitable lubricant.
CAUTION - DO NOT use a hose pipe or pressure washer to clean the motor. Water will damage the motor.
Blade Maintenance
Check the blade, in order to obtain a good cut, the blade should always be sharp and well balanced. At regular intervals, check the ghtness of all nuts, bolts
and screws.
If the blade hits an obstacle check for damage and if the machine vibrates badly stop the lawnmower and take it to a service dealer.
It is best if all intervenons on the blade are done at a specialised centre that has the special tools and equipment.
Only original blades must be used on this machine. Given product evoluon, the blades may be replaced in me with others having similar interchangeable
and operang safety features.
• You MUST always wear gloves to protect your hands from being cut when working with the blade.
• The blade is made of pressed steel, in order to obtain a precise cut, sharpen the blade frequently, typically around every 28 hours of work.
• Following blade sharpening you must make sure that the blade is always well balanced.
• To remove the blade, unscrew the bolt, check the blade carrier and all components, replace if they are worn or damaged.
• Using a silicone spray grease, lightly coat the lawn mower blade to prevent possible rusng during storage.
Storage
Always unplug the machine from the mains for storage.
To save space during storage, fold down the upper bar.
Store the machine in a dry condion and out of reach of children and unauthorized persons
Repairs
Repair work may only be carried out by Service Centres and authorized specialist work- shops.
To prevent loss of balance, cung tools and fastening bolts must be exchanged together.
CAUTION: Do not rapidly switch o and on.
Adjusng the cung height
Make sure your machine is switched o and the blade has come to a complete sllness before adjusng the cung height.
ATTENTION: The blades connue to rotate for a few seconds aer the machine is switched o, a rotang blade can cause injury.
Your lawnmower is equipped with a central height adjustment system, oering 11 height sengs: 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, 55mm,
60mm, 68mm, 76mm and 85mm.
Select the cung height by locking the lever in the desired posion (move lever outward, slide to correct posion, move inward to lock it again) (Fig 2-10).
From rear to front, the adjustable height is from 25mm to 85mm.
Remark : For the rst cut of the season,a high cung posion should be selected.
Adjusng the handle angle (Fig.15)
You can easily adapt the height of the handle.
Release the clamping levers (15) at both sides of the lower handle part, select the desired height posion of the handle by moving it upwards (or down-
wards), then re-lock the clamping levers.
This enables you to adapt the handle upright height from 900mm to 1050mm in 3 dierent posions.
Mowing / Cung the grass (Fig.16)
Select a cung height to suit the actual height of the grass. If necessary, mow the same secon several mes so that no more than 4cm is removed at a go.
Place the lawnmower on the edge of the lawn, close to the power supply. Work away from that point.
Alter the posion of the cable at each turn, move it to the already cut side.
When mowing,do not make the motor labour to hard. Otherwise the rotang speed drops to much, (you will hear that the motor sound changes).
When this occurs stop mowing and adapt the mowing height to a higher posion to avoid damage to your mower.
NOTE: The motor is protected by a safety overload switch
Emptying the grass box
To prevent the ejector opening / blade becoming clogged and unnecessary overloading of the motor , empty the grass box once it is full (Fing / removing :
see above described).
Hours of operaon
Observe your naonal and regional regulaons for the protecon against noise which specify hours during which a lawn mower may be operated.
